Gorgeous stately manor - felt like we were living in Downton Abbey show. Helen was a gracious hostess and cooked up a sumptuous breakfast feast including homemade jam from their own raspberries. Loved the garden behind the house. Whole experience was elegant and memorable. One of our favourite moments in touring Ireland.

Lovely stay in comfy house on beautiful Blanchville estate. Perfect for our group for the weekend. Had a pint in the local too which was a treat.

Laurence and his wife were very welcoming and friendly to us. They were more than happy to talk and share insights on the area. The area was quiet farmland that made finding things to do or places to walk a bit challenging

Such a unique and peaceful way to end our trip. The castle was everything and then some: quiet, tranquil, and relaxing. Bonus were the two pups you could visit with. The views, especially from the top, were unmatched. The breakfast spread was such a great touch, and filling. It was the best way to end a week long road trip.

Wow!! My only regret is not being to stay more than the one night! Gitta and John were great!! She left us things for breakfast although we’re not much of breakfast people. She also left us drinks and plenty of information on things to do in the area. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re staying in the area to stay here!

Francis was a very good host to us, forthcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in the simple, yet beautiful cottage and especially having some farm animals around.

Maison accueillante, très bien équipée, au calme en pleine campagne, orientée ouest (ce qui permet de profiter du soleil de fin de journée) La literie et tous les équipements sont de qualité, l'aménagement intérieur est sobre et de bon goût. Mobilier de jardin sans vis-à-vis, stationnement sans difficultés. Et Georgina est une hôtesse parfaite, répondant aux demandes avec rapidité et en souriant. Je recommande ce logement sans aucune réserve

The pond cabins were absolutely beautiful! Would definitely recommend staying here . Iveta was extremely friendly and helpful and came down to personally welcome us . Milk , sugar , tea etc supplied on arrival for a hot cup of tea after our drive ! Hot tub was easy use and really made the experience. Will definitely visit again !

Natalie and her family have been super nice! Very welcoming , they made feel us at home. The place is great, and the host friendly, our kids loved meeting their cute animals. Natali went over and beyond with kindness and unexpectad surprises! Very appreciated and suggested.

Eine tolle Unterkunft auf dem Land. Hazel und James haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns alles gezeigt. Das kleine Haus ist sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten alle Ziele in der Umgebung gut mit dem Auto erreichen, einen Parkplatz gibt es auf dem Hof direkt vor der Tür. Die Farm ist sehr unterhaltsam mit den Alpakas, den Schafen und Hühnern und auch mit den Katzen. Trotzdem war es sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Wir haben es sehr genossen, bei Hazel und James zu Gast zu sein.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lorna's house and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room was immaculate—spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in cleanliness and design was impressive. The amenities were top-notch, the kids loved the game's room and the country life and everything was maintained to the highest standard. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet conveniently close to my destination. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the genuine hospitality. Every interaction with the host felt personal and sincere, which made a big difference in how welcome I felt. I highly recommend Lorna's.

John’s house is a charming and comfortable place to stay in the perfect location for touring the area. It has been lovingly updated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and we could have sat in the two sitting rooms all day. Would highly recommend a stay.

We spent a long weekend in Bernie’s celebrating a significant birthday. Three generations of family together & Bernie’s ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort & rest. Our granddaughter loved the outdoors, the treehouse, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, the games room, the animals. We got a taxi to Killkenny for dinner one evening but otherwise self catered & the kitchen is very well equipped. And we had excellent pizzas done on the bbq. Windgap is a very peaceful rural area & perfect place to getaway. I would recommend it highly.

Louise was proactive in messaging before our stay to make sure we'd have a smooth check-in experience. The property itself is incredibly cosy and has plenty of instructions to make sure you have no issues in working anything. The place was pristine and felt very welcoming on arrival, and the surroundings were stunning. Beds and sofa were very comfortable, and there was a good selection of DVDs and games to choose from.

We loved our intergenerational gathering at John's lovely house which accommodated everyone comfortably. Great outdoor spaces and good location to many interesting places. John was friendly and communicative. we'll be back 😀

We had a great time at Rebecca’s place. Beautiful surrounding, secluded and very peaceful. We came with two kids and a dog. And all were happy and something to do. The house itself is gorgeous and has a beautiful design. The bed linens were great , the parents room was a king size bed which was the best. The kitchen is well Equipped and Rebecca’s was super friendly and responsive. Had a great time.

This was my first time using air bnb and I couldnt have picked a better place to start. The place was stunning and the dog was so cute. Went to the cafe next door and the food was lovely. I had so many questions and Helen was a lovely host who didnt mind answering them for me and was so kind. I will definatly book with Helen again

Quel endroit et quelle maison magnifiques ! Kevin nous a accueillis très chaleureusement avec de délicieux scones maison. Il nous a indiqué d'excellentes adresses pour manger. Nous avons aussi eu la joie d'assister au concert de sa chorale dynamique et enthousiaste lors de la St Patrick. Superbe ! Sinon, ce logement est idéalement situé à quelques minutes du centre de Kilkenny, une petite ville accueillante et chaleureuse. Nous espérons revenir chez Kevin lors d'un prochain voyage en Irlande. Chaleureux merci pour cet accueil exceptionnel !

Jackie exceeded our expectations with soda bread, fresh milk from the farm and orange juice provided along with tea and coffee. She gave our young girls a tour of the farm and provided great recommendations!
