Grâce à toi nous avons passé notre premier séjour de rêve en Irlande.

I booked the place wanting to stay in the Ox Mountain area as my grandmother loved to glance at the Ox Mountain in north direction as she lived south of Moy River. It was first trip for my best friend, so it was spectacular place to be especially time of the year with all of these fresh snow and experience what it was like to live with turf fireplace. I am humbled by all of this experiences and beautiful surroundings. Dermot and Monica were thoughtful and friendly hosts. Their recommendations on places to visit and where to eat were spot on! You cannot beat the spa fees - affordable price! It is good for anyone who wants to be off the grid from phones/technology and be in tuned with the nature, animals and people.

Cannot recommend enough the place. Beautiful cottage near Ballina, ideal to explore surroundings. Place is quiet and private and house is very spacious. There is also a fireplace which makes it extra cozy if you go around winter or cold months. I will definitely save the place in my favorites so I can come back!

We were so happy with our stay , Mary’s adding of home comforts like a bookcase of books , a home made cake and electric blankets on the beds made for a lovely cosy place to relax and unwind.

Really great spot to get away from it all. The place is really big. There is easy access to the great western greenway and a number of nice walks. Highly recommend!

We arrived by public transportation, so our host, John, generously offered to pick us up at the train station in the neighboring town. He also gave us a fantastic driving tour of the surrounding area, showing us famous places of interest and even stopping by the grocery store so we could stock up -- taking his own time and trouble to do so. We spent a lovely evening with him at the local pub, soaking in the friendly atmosphere of Aghamore. One day he brought us some baked potatoes that he'd grown himself. I swear, they were the best potatoes I've ever eaten! We felt like we were staying with family. The house itself was so comfortable and equipped with everything, even giving us some eggs, fruit and bread to tide us over. The area is so beautiful and serene. Thank you so much, Breege and John! You're the best!

Such a beautiful and tranquil little haven. We spent two nights here with our little Bichon Frise. It was the perfect place for exploring the area and a lovely pub down the road which allowed dogs in. The place was very private and a modern fresh airy feel. Perfect place to relax in after being out for the day. Highly recommend this Airbnb

Très beau logement, plus grand que ce à quoi on s’attendait. Très propre et bien agencé, très bonne literie, nous avons vraiment bien dormi. Le cadre est absolument sublime aux pieds des montagnes. Télé connecté pour pouvoir regarder Netflix etc et hôtes très gentils. Nous recommandons 😊

Stunning house with the most amazing views. Bernie and her husband were so helpful and kind. Peaceful location close to a pristine beach. The kids loved all the sheep and horses in the nearby fields. Thank you to Bernie for a lovely relaxing week

The house is so nice and warm, the beds are so comfortable, we loved the sounds of the sheep and the horses on the hills. The kids loved the house and yard, very neat and safe yard to play. This is a beautiful house- immaculately clean - big spacious rooms - big kitchen and plenty of equipment- although there was 10 in our group there was plenty of lovely towels for everyone- although the weather was cold the house was always warm, Care is needed as you turn in from the main road (N) on to the minor road (L) to the house.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lakeside cottage in the Irish countryside. The location is peaceful, set an hour away from Galway, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself is cozy with a view of the lake, Lough Mask, right from the window. The host, Maura, was welcoming and hospitable. She made our stay extra special by bringing over a delicious Christmas dinner for us, which was a thoughtful and generous touch. She also provided us with fuel for the fireplace, which added a warm, comforting atmosphere to the cottage. She was always available to answer any questions we had as well! The cottage was also exactly as described—charming and well-appointed. Staying at Maura's gave us a great opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of our surroundings. Overall, this was a lovely stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Irish countryside. Maura's hospitality truly made the experience memorable.

We had a lovely stay at Andrew's place. Very tranquil surroundings and only ten minutes drive to Ballinrobe. Place was very roomy - felt very cozy there. We unfortunately had a family health emergency during our stay and have to say Andrew's very prompt responses and flexibility took a whole heap of pressure off. Thanks again Andrew :-)

A great place to stay. House felt really homely. So many little extras provided which really made a positive impact on our stay. Kathleen was very kind and helpful. The house is situated in a beautiful and peaceful area. Seeing the donkeys every day was a treat!

We visited Sligo for a chess club championship and chose to stay in this bungalow with our team. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The spacious layout allowed our team to unwind and socialize after matches, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal retreat. The host was welcoming and attentive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sligo, whether for a sporting event, a family trip, or a relaxing getaway.

Finlough House was even better than described and pictured. It’s truly the perfect escape to the Irish countryside. The house was fully equipped with absolutely everything you would need on your stay and it was so warm and cozy which made it hard to leave. We were a party of three and we had more than enough space to each feel like we had our own piece of the house. The location was also perfect as you got a remote escape with easy driving distance to top notch attractions (Kylemore Abbey & Croagh Patrick) and quaint towns such as Leenane and Louisburgh. The house and location were perfect, but the icing on the cake was the host Margaret. She was extremely communicative, helpful and a pure delight. She even went the extra mile to stop by and check in on how it was going for us! I can’t recommend Finlough House enough and I definitely plan to return. Thank you, Margaret!

I had a lovely stay at Rosaleen and Tom's place. I particularly appreciated their flexibility. As I (and my friends) stayed for a month as a writing retreat, my emphasis and experience might be a bit different in this way. But for example, we used more wifi than the average airbnb-er and Rosaleen and Tom changed their wifi contract to account for this. We arrived at night and they had left some staples in the kitchen, which was much appreciated, as well as the amazing scones later on. The only thing I would say is that the house could use a proper deep clean - but with the caveat that because we spent more time inside this was probably more visible. I think with a 'normal' stay you'll spend a lot of time outside exploring the many beautiful things that county sligo and the surroundings have to offer (and there are so many for which Rosaleen and Tom also offered great suggestions).

We had a fantastic stay in Achill! The location is peaceful and quiet, with incredible views of the beach. It is an amazing spot to unwind and take in the scenery. The house itself was cozy and had everything we needed, especially the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking easy. We were lucky to get a great day and made the most of it with some beautiful hikes and a sauna on the local beach. Teresa was very responsive and accommodating, making our stay even better. We’d highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

I am more than happy to recommend Eileen’s apartment, beautiful location, short distance from Clifden and with a very cozy and homely feeling. Views from the apartment are fantastic and Eileen and Michael were great host! Super friendly and helpful. 5 out 5 stars! Can’t wait to book it again and enjoy a longer break!
