We spent 2 weeks in Connemara with our 2 kids and this was a perfect place to base ourselves from. The house was clean and homely and had everything we needed (including a high chair which was great). The playground just around the corner was a great bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone planning a holiday around Clifden / Connemara.

This is by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. Laurence is an outstanding host- incredibly friendly, welcoming, accommodating and gave us loads of recommendations for things to see and do around the area. The accommodation and amenities were spotless and immaculately maintained as well as being cosy and comfortable. The location is beautiful, incredibly peaceful and the views are stunning, a real hidden gem of a location. Thank you so much Laurence, we can’t wait to come back!

A very charming spot with a friendly, helpful host. Cabin was plenty warm, pizza was delicious, and bathrooms/kitchen spotless and had everything you could need. We would love to come back and stay longer, and take advantage of the hot tub!

The cabin was everything I hoped it would be. Quiet, close to nature and very relaxing. The wood burning stove added great atmosphere and I had a very restful nights sleep. Jess and Dara were very responsive hosts. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again.

We really enjoyed our brief time here. The pods were basic and very clean with great views in the surroundings. The bathrooms were spotless. The composting toilet was a tiny bit smelly as the fan was accidentally not turned on which could be easily resolved. Otherwise they were absolutely impeccable, the cleanest composting toilets I've seen. It is an Eco Glamping spot so facilities are basic and not overly manicured which I loved as contributes to the remote feeling and there are lots of nice details in the design which Michael has done himself. Michael was very kind and we had a cuppa tea and biscuits with him with some good local tips and chats about world travels. Overall fabulous place, much nicer than any hotel, beautiful views of the mountains and great hospitality too.

Had the most wonderful stay here with my friends. Stephen was extremely warm and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

A great place to stay! Cozy, private, and comfortable, with all the basics covered for a relaxing trip. Clean and with an easy check-in process. Michael was helpful and responsive. We’d be happy to return!

Natalia and her partner were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our visit was a bit of a flying one, but they made it their business to introduce themselves and see if we needed any help. The loft itself was perfect for what we needed. Bed was very comfy & there was a nice outdoor space with a BBQ and self made bar too. Location is very good too only 4 min drive to Westport. Plenty of space to park.

Absolutely perfect place for our short stay away. Jennifer was amazing with communication and all instructions were very clear how to find the place and to self check-in. Very refreshing inside with plenty of natural light from the front window area. Kitchen had all we needed, maybe a pair of scissors is all we could think of, otherwise for a compact kitchen it was perfect. Bathroom was bigger than expected with a good size shower. Bed was so comfortable, big with lovely plush pillows and duvet. We felt very comfortable even on those windy wet nights thanks to the radiator. Lovely fresh eggs from the chickens which we helped ourselves, so be prepared they're fresh complete with straw attached to them 😉 Location was exactly what we wanted, private with plenty of parking right next to where we stayed, and at night it is lit up so you can find your way easily. Very peaceful too with beautiful views. We would certainly stay again that's for sure. Thank you Jennifer

Tina was friendly, responsive and really hospitable. she left us chocolates, Christmas cake, milk and butter which was a delicious treat. Her place is in a country setting, old Irish cottage with all the modern amenities, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed country life and lovely fireplace, our dogs loved sleeping by fireplace. we look forward to coming back in spring or summer next year and enjoy more outdoors.

This Shepard's Hut is the perfect place to switch off and reset. I had a fantastic time here, everything is as described and to a perfect standard of cleanliness. I booked it on the morning of the day I wanted to arrive- Lucy responded so quickly and was ideal to communicate with. Lucy has created such a cosy little haven here, out in the countryside but also 10/15 minute drive from Westport. ideal!

The place was well located to explore the area and the Connemara national Park. great for a few days!

We loved the Hare's Hideout. It was spotless, tastefully and lovingly decorated, cosy, and private. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Noreen answered all of our questions beforehand promptly. Check-in was a breeze. We would definitely stay again!

A lovely and cozy cabin in a wonderful place! We had a relaxing stay! It is very important to not take the bad road! Peter is a nice guy and came to the nearest pub to drive us to the cabin!

Our stay at Lavender Mews was perfect. Dave was a very friendly and nice host. We will definitely be back. In a great central location for town and park.

A beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location! It is really special how many amenities can fit in a pod. It really felt like home. You could cook there and you have all the privacy! The view is amazing. It is lovely to look out over the water and the sheep with their lamb. The dog and cat are the sweetest :) Thank you for being such an amazing host!

This place was amazing and incredibly comfortable. Most importantly its views and surrounding fields and country roads are totally stunning and some of the nicest we saw in Connemara.

Pat and Caroline are the most lovely welcoming hosts one could wish for. I only stayed one night in the cabin but got that reconnection with nature I was hoping for. The cabin itself is basic of course but I was spoiled with a glass of wine and the use of the bath in the main house which were greatly appreciated injections of luxury and relaxation. Thanks Pat and Caroline for the warm welcome!

This was the nicest place my partner and I have ever been to- not only was the cottage itself a work of art in its design but also so well thought through with a small fireplace, a curtain that divided the sleeping part of the room and the windows with a really cosy armchair in front that I would read my books in while waiting for my partner to wake up. It is so quiet and green all around, beautiful walking paths and an easy way to reach town. Irma was the sweetest host ever; she warmed the stove and left us homemade bread with irish butter and advised us kindly on where to find local music and what walks would be most scenic. A truly inspiring person in an incredibly inspiring place!

incredibly beautiful farm and location! the hosts are very kind and hospitable and made me feel right at home. loved the goats and alpacas :)

dermot was such a an incredible host!! super friendly and was very helpful with anything that we needed. he gave us some great recommendations of what to do around sligo and the surrounding areas. it was a super peaceful stay, just what we needed. we would highly recommend the Jacuzzi. this is great for a romantic getaway! thanks so much ❤️

Wir sind 2 Nächte in Steves Häuschen gewesen. Mit Steve haben wir nette Gespräche geführt und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Man hat dort sein eigenes Badezimmer und die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Und überall süße DIY Einrichtung.
