We needed a place to stay that was local to Ballymahon at short notice for a family occasion. Alisha’s home was just the ticket. Very convenient for Ballymahon and for visiting family in Keenagh, the property was absolutely outstanding. The first thing of note was that the photos of the property do not do it justice. The kitchen is open plan and has everything you could possibly need with quality products throughout. The downstairs shower room is beautiful and fantastically appointed. The living room is very cosy with a huge fireplace. There’s also a very interesting history of Barry which is well worth a read. All the bedrooms were very comfortable (beautiful linen) with the ensuite being particularly useful. Plenty of storage too! Finally Alisha’s communication was absolutely first class. From the time that I booked until check out Alisha was always responsive to queries & was proactive about making sure we were ok. All in all I would not hesitate in recommending & would stay again.

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

A really charming and comfortable cottage. Mike was a great host and was very welcoming when we arrived. The cottage is very warm, and the kitchen is a good size to cook in. There's a dishwasher, a good oven with hobs and an air fryer, and microwave. Also a washing machine and tumble dryer, so all is covered. Some nice walks around the canals as well. We'd happily stay again.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. It was such a peaceful and nice house. It was our stay in Irland where we got married. George was such a lovely owner and was always helpful. We will definitely visit George and Sarah again (and the two lovely dogs which live there too). We can recommend to visit this place if you want to experience Irland to its fullest. All I can say is: if you choose someplace else in this area you’re a fool. I stay at Air BnB places frequently and this has been the very best for the price even if the price were double.

Lynda’s place was exactly as advertised. The decor and feel of the flat were amazing, entire place was adorable and the attention to detail was spot on. Lynda’s communication was so quick and helpful. Check in and check out was using the lock box which was ideal as we weren’t sure what time we would arrive. When we went into the shop to say hi, Lynda gave us some coffee, cake and some really helpful information around places to visit. Location was ideal, walking distance from everywhere.

This is a beautiful modern apartment in the heart of Longford town. It is a warm and very clean place with Wi-Fi and a tv with a wide range of channels. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need.

I am bushwhacking around Ireland relying on public transport. John picked me up at the bus station in Edgeworthstown and brought me home. It is a .5 mile walk to town which was fine with me. The 2nd. Annual Granard Book and Literary Festival was ongoing 4-19/21 with many poets and authors in town. Picked up a few books and the bars were hopping with craic and trad! Met lots of cousins which was the primary focus of my visit. Grand time.
