I can’t say enough positive things about this cabin and the hosts. It’s so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. Also, the cabin is very well stocked with amenities, items for cooking, snacks, coffee, tea, bathroom supplies, etc. we felt at home immediately. You can tell this is a home away from home for the hosts. I can’t thank them enough for their communication and help with the wood stove (I’m a Florida girl so that was a new experience), and for their compassion and understanding when my dog accidentally injured himself and their cabin in the process. :( The hosts are extremely kind and caring individuals. We visited in the winter so we didn’t get to explore the property much, but certainly plan to come back in the summer and can’t wait to see the lake and scenery. Would 10/10 stay here again!

We had a lovely time on our trip. One of the highlights was being able to stay in such a cozy, well decorated home. Everything felt comfortable and we really appreciated the proactive effort from our host in reaching out to see if we needed anything. This was a wonderful trip, we're looking forward to booking again sometime in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Carlas place. It was everything and more. Carla was extremely responsive. A beautiful, peaceful, stay. Anyone would enjoy! :)

Location is ideal. Quiet solitude in the woods but just minutes away from wineries and Finger Lakes attractions.

Great Bear Cabin is a gem! We loved how peaceful it was, and that Josh has clearly gone above and beyond to bring comfort to his guests. The Master Bedroom had one the comfiest mattresses we’ve ever stayed on at an airbnb! We loved being able to travel with our dog, and the cabin was super pet friendly with treats and bags to clean up easily! While we stayed with a smaller group this time, Josh’s place can easily accommodate a large group/ family! Thanks for sharing this amazing space! We can’t wait to come back!!

Many Airbnb hosts do the bare minimum, but Nicole went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We really enjoyed all the thoughtful touches she added to her place, including a bag of local coffee and peach jam as a welcome gift. A fully appointed kitchen and bathroom (complete with plenty of linens and toiletries, full-length mirror, a multiple towel rack and towel warmer), a yoga room with a cute little heat stove, each bedroom provided with luggage racks, robes and bottles of spring water and glasses. We enjoyed playing Prince's Purple Rain album on the record player in the living room. Nicole created a guide of things to do in the area, and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The neighborhood is very walkable and next to a pretty park; it didn't take long to get to any restaurants and the harbor by foot, and to several of the area's wineries and Watkins Glen State Park by car. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future!

It was a beautiful trip! And we got engaged here, so will forever be my favorite place along with amazing wineries ♥️
