I had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! The house was exactly as described, with all the essentials provided, making it a perfect place to stay for the whole week. The location was excellent, with all the main shops within walking distance and easy access to key tourist spots in Portsmouth. Monika was very responsive to messages and quickly arranged visitor parking permits for us.

We absolutely loved Jemma’s place. It was clean and well presented and in a brilliant location too, right across from the most beautiful sandy beach. Jemma was very responsive to any queries and very friendly she had even left a little welcome package. We will definitely return!

Really great use of space. The 2 double bedrooms suited us perfect. Very usable kitchen and great sized bathroom for the footprint. Love the use of the vaulted celling to allow light in to give a feeling of space. Well thought out. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Eling is a gorgeous little place also. Perfect for a jump off point into the New Forest with plenty of local amenities. Wish you all the very best going forward with your little business. Thank you very much.

Stephanie's apartment is on the second floor of a quiet retirement block. There is a nice balcony with a view of the sea and it's a bit of sun trap in the mornings. Nice and close to the beach, which is a short climb down to via a zig zag path. The beach itself is lovely, v sandy and extensive. During the summer season dogs aren't allowed in the beach but off season it's a great place to let them run. We ate one night at the closest pub - the Spyglass and Kettle. It was dog friendly and cheap, a great place to stop for a drink in the sun but the food wasn't all that good so recommend traveling a bit further afield to eat.

I rather loved my stay here in Southsea, opposite Ravelin Park, and close to so many attractions. Portsmouth Museum is just across the road, the seaside about 10 mins walk, the Historic Dockyard and gunwharf not much further. The apartment itself had all facilities and appliances anyone might want. It was clean, warm and fairly quiet, considering the busy traffic. The wifi, telly worked fine. I prefer the lockbox for the key too. All in all, quite perfect. I would happily stay there again.

Such a lovely stay and beautiful accommodation. Mandy and Michael were very responsive and answered all the questions I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area :)

Very nice apartment and well placed for going to Brockenhurst via walking and Lyndhurst by car. And was great to watch the local football team which was nice to experience

We stayed just one night. Our stay was just a stop when leaving the boat so we didn’t spend much Time but we did enjoy it. It was absolutely cleaned. We were impressed by the size of the leaving room. We didn’t expect it would be that big. The communication with the host was excellent.

Such a lovely little place to stay. Perfect for a couple days away in a nice quiet location. Has everything we needed for the time we were there and felt at home. Mary was very lovely and helpful throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay!

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

It was a lovely place, a very good wide space for everyone to enjoy the evenings in. Lovely location for our needs with a very responsive host to answer all questions we had. Will 100% recommend.

It was quite expensive but the house was lovely and we could walk to the Marina, the nature reserve, the town and loads of pubs... It was a shame that the Smart elements of the TV simply would not work - no players at all, they worked in the front bedroom but not the back on... Julia did respond but the issue was not fixed, which was a shame as we wanted to watch a film with our takeaway on a very rainy Friday!!

Great place to stay! Just a short drive and/or walk to everything you need. There is parking available, too. Despite being in the same building as the hosts, you don’t even notice and it is much more private than the other “flat-shares” in the area as you have your own designated space! Matt is very communicative and a great host. Would stay here again definitely!

Had a long weekend with the family and it was a great base. The apartment was clean, comfy and had a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge which was great as we had multiple family groups that all bought lots of food. The main house is fabulous to look at and we could appreciate it's beauty. The pool was beautiful too, warm and relaxing...although personally we would have rather paid more at booking and the access be bookable but included in the price but understand this wouldn't suit everybody. There was lots of outdoor seating, garden games, ping pong and a large chess game and small climbing frame which were welcomed touches. We were left to our own devices despite the building being connected to home owners which we appreciated. Our only criticism was there are signs put out to show private garden areas but with dogs and children this can be a bit harder to control so some clearer boundaries might be more helpful for future guests. Thank you for having us!

My friends and I stayed overnight for my birthday and it was the best!!! The house is even more beautiful and spacious in person. Jude was also an amazing host and super lovely, she got me flowers, Prosecco and chocolate. It was all very sweet. The location is beautiful and she also gave us great recommendations! Would definitely come back in a heartbeat :-)) thank you so much Jude! X

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

Booked a last minute couple of nights here as the weather was so good. Place was SPOTLESS and modern with a luxury feel. Everything looked new. There were only 2 of us, but 4 adults would have been comfortable too. Parking might be an issue in the summer as building works at the back (what a shame!) have taken many of the available spaces there. We did manage to park outside the flat but it was a bit of a squeeze and no doubt our space would have been taken if we had moved the car. We used the very handy bus to get around - in and out of the town centre and also into Bournemouth, we walked all the way home along the fabulous beach. All in all a great apartment; thank you for having us!

Lovely flat with terrace and views. Comfortable and clean. Easy parking and great base for visiting the island. Short walk into old Shanklin downhill.

Carolyn, myself and mally the labrador had a great week , very peaceful, sitting on the patio watching the ships sail past. Bryce was very helpful, and lives on site , if a problem was to arise. The accommodation was spacious spotless and well equipped.

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

a lovely little apartment that felt warm and welcoming. it was a joy to settle down and relax in front of the wood burner after my journey and it was ideally located for my needs. the bed was supper comfy and felt really luxurious. I would definitely recommend this flat and I'd definitely return!

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily
