Great place in a superb location. Very comfortable with great views and easy walking distance into centre of Cowes.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful Georgian and house with lots of character. Beautiful light and airy and and extremely cosy in the evenings. It was in a brilliant location, a 2 minute walk from town and the local harbour. Some great places to eat and lovely pubs. It is within driving distance of various lovely walks and there is a walk nearby by the Solent, with plenty of wildlife. We had a brilliant week and would definitely return. William was a fantastic host, always contactable for any questions.

My husband and I stayed at the Auction House for two weeks in March while visiting our daughter, son in law and our new grandchild. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to our daughter’s home as well as enjoy downtown Ryde restaurants in the evening. Christine and Terry were great hosts. Their home is very nice, clean and has everything you need to feel at home. We especially loved our welcome treat. We will definitely return to the Auction House in the future.

The place is stunning it is very close to the railway but the noise is minimal. There’s some amazing places to eat close by and dog friendly too. There’s market was amazing and we will definitely come back again if the place is free xx

A great location with an easy walk into Cowes. We loved the view from the sitting room window out to sea and watching the boats and ferries coming and going. The house was just as pictured and described with easy communication from the hosts. Thank you

Lovely cottage and very clean, great location and host was very informative prior to our trip, I would say the only negative is only having 1toilet given the maximum number of guests it was a bit of a struggle!

Brilliant 4 night stay at Crossroads. It felt like a home from home - with everything we could ask for and more. Communication was great, and the house was even nicer than the photos. The little touches like food essentials were really appreciated after a long journey too. Will definitely return.

The place was immaculate, had everything we needed, was superbly placed for amenities and all the fantastic restaurants and bars in Cowes and a stone’s throw from the fast ferry. Our host was extremely responsive and we had no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend and will be staying again as long as they will have us.

Not being snobbish, but first thoughts were, ‘eww a housing estate’, but soon realised there was no litter and no graffiti, which says a lot. Friendly folk as we walked the dogs though Stanley Park and along the Solent, which are a stones throw away. Excellent food at The Cocked Hat pub. Regular bus service. The house was comfortable and clean. Two bathrooms. Overall, a great base for a weeks break. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Spacious, clean, and well-presented, this house was a great place for our family holiday on the Isle of Wight. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were excellent. The pool, while not large, was a great feature which we very much enjoyed. Perhaps the best thing about the house was its location, perched upon a hill with views down to the harbour and close enough to easily walk into town for shopping and dining.

Lovely house, we immediately felt at home. We are a family of 6 and the house accommodated us perfectly. The house is centrally located and only a few mins stroll from shops, restaurants, and the harbour views.

The house is lovely and, on the whole the road is quiet. We had a lovely stay - Matt was very helpful and responsive. We were able to park right outside with a permit and it is centrally located. For those staying with elderly relatives and children, be aware that the 3 bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom and toilet is downstairs at the back of the house. My relatives were a little nervous on the stairs as they were uneven heights. Would recommend.

We had a great stay here. A lovely spacious townhouse with wonderful sea views and direct access to the beach. Would return for sure.

Very nice house with 4 separete bedrooms. Newly refurbished and beautifully styled and fully equipped. Very welcoming and with some fruit and snacks provide to us . Top value. Only backdraw perhaps is the shabby neighbour house. /Magnus, Olle, Peter and Janne from Sweden

beautiful house, stunning decor throughout, not the normal 'sterile' places you can book, it is filled with thought and attention to detail. Great location, so close to the Historic Docklands and great bars and cafes.

We had such an amazing time on the island. I grew up there and had the chance to take my family there for the first time. This house was PERFECT! Very clean, great location and owner was so friendly and responsive! HIGHLY recommend

We had a great time at Palermo Villa. It's beautifully decorated and the perfect location for exploring Southsea Common, the seafront and some lovely Portsmouth bars and restaurants. Nicola is a great host, quick to respond to messages and the house is spotless! Highly recommend.

It was such a privilege to stay here. Jane and Mark were so kind and helpful, and their home is perfect and in a fabulous location too. Their instructions for check in and their recommendations for places to go were spot on. For two couples it was excellent - double bedroom and bathroom on one floor and double bedroom with en-suite (lovely shower) on another. Comfy, clean, pretty bedrooms. Lounge on the top floor with big TV, comfy sofas and roof terrace, was such a great area to chill out and watch the ships go by. A sun trap on a sunny day. Very well equipped kitchen. We would love to come back!

Stay was lovely home away from home. Can be a little noisy at night as it’s near some pubs and restaurants and the windows are only single glazed but these are things that cannot be changed due to location and type of building, I am used to the silence of the countryside at night so I am more aware of noise than others would be. Overall a great house and we would definitely stay again.

A lovely spacious well-equipped house in the centre of the town close to nice walks and very peaceful !!
