Peaceful and quiet getaway spot with a beautiful view of Port San Juan. We stayed for a guys reunion trip and it was the perfect spot to kick back, have a hot tub, chat around the fire, cook some good food in a fully stocked kitchen, and just hang out in comfort.

Fantastic getaway, so quiet and surrounded by nature! The place is wonderfully appointed with everything you might need, and the hosts even left delicious sourdough, muffins, eggs, and jam! The hot tub was a highlight as well!

This was the perfect spot for a rainy weekend. We watched the fire pit from the hot tub while it was sprinkling, and then the rain drops gave us a show through the skylight once it started pouring.

It’s a pretty cabin where the decorations are beautiful and attractive and the facilities inside are really useful. Even though it is close to the street, it’s quiet enough at night. And plus, the position is convenient for travelling and grocery shopping. The only trouble we encountered is that the house keeping team forgot to clean the house before we arrived. The solution provided is cleaning it for us in the next morning and offering a refund for it. My friends and I think it is acceptable. It’s a place worth a stay.

Easy self check-in, beautifully decorated cabin right on the lake. Would definitely stay here again, it’s even better than the pictures!

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

Lovely stay! The bed was comfortable, like the thee type pillow option. We enjoy being able to cook food and making fire. Fire place was efficient, we got the place so warm in no time. Everything just felt so cozy, beautiful and calm. So grateful for this beautiful stay.

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

Gorgeous setting and lovely place! We loved our first visit to Galiano island. We went on really nice hikes and enjoyed looking at tidal pools. From the house we enjoyed seeing sheep, deer running by and walking down to the water. Thanks for a great stay!

A most memorable weekend away! Our host was friendly and helpful, The cottage was wonderful ,warm and welcoming. We opted to cook all our meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We give this cottage a 5 star and 2 thumbs up!! Looking forward to coming back soon... This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.

A cozy and lovely stay during spring break. We enjoyed the load of organic snacks: felt so cared for! The goats were so wonderful for the kids to look at and added a neat element. We enjoyed the gas fireplace as it was cold out, the full kitchen and kid’s loved the sky bed and bunks. Couldn’t ask for much more in a cabin in the woods and on a goat farm!

Absolutely incredible place! Unique layout, tons of stuff to explore inside and outside, AMAZING porches, and gorgeous views. Spent each morning sipping coffee and watching seals swim around and occasionally flop up onto the docks right off the back deck. Butchart Gardens is right down the road and well worth a visit! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Don’t hesitate.. just book it!!!

Cabin on the mountain top with an incredible view. No neighbours no noise not that much light from the towns so the star are more clear for sure. You’re gonna need 4x4 to get there but there but worth it.

Very spacious and unique unit on a mobile home resort. The dwelling gives a cabin vibe. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking if desired, and the living area had great entertainment options. There's no wifi in the home itself.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.

Our stay was great at Adam’s place. Although my kid was afraid of dogs, the dogs were super friendly. We found it easy to get in the gate and to our suite. There was lots of room for everyone. There are lots of things to do in the property and Sean was helpful in telling us about the place and keeping the dogs away when we wanted to explore. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend as a place to stay. Thanks Adam and Sean!

I was looking for a reasonably priced place near Nanaimo and the Miner's Cabin was perfect. Cozy, clean layout with a comfortable bed. The host was friendly, personable, and able to answer any questions I had. Many trails nearby for those that like to walk and explore.

A wonderful getaway for us. The eclectic nature of the cabin leaves visual treasures to be discovered everywhere. Appreciated the local literature in the library! Reminded me of what a 'cabin at the lake' should look and feel like.
