We really enjoyed staying at Debby and Keith's beautiful farm. My kids enjoyed playing with Fig (the dog) and horses. Thank you so much for your hospitality and also teaching me English too.

Gina was such a great host. Very responsive and flexible. The stay was very comfy and very quiet. Everything was close in proximity, Butchart was 5 mins away and the Butterfly Garden Museum was 3 mins away. So much fun. Oh, and the resident pets were so cute & very friendly!! Gina also allowed us to pick a few fruits from her trees. Pears & blueberries were sweet. Just walking in the backyard was so peaceful. LOVED every moment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foxglove Farm - it is a beautiful property, featuring chickens/roosters, organic produce and a large deck to enjoy our meals at. Our host was friendly and reliable, and made us feel right at home. I cannot recommend this property enough - and definitely suggest purchasing their ‘produce basket’ to enjoy farm fresh eggs and veggies. We cannot wait to come back one day!

magic lamp cabin at St Mary’s lake is the perfect place to go for self-restoration in a peaceful & serene environment. the beauty of the lake, the trees and nature hug the cozy cabin. the cabin is self-contained for making it the perfect holiday place & space away from home. thank you Tania & Jose for sharing your peaceful lakeside cabin. we will miss the chirping birds that dance around the garden all day long.

This place was lovely, perfect for our getaway! Really well maintained and great to have use of the Sauna. Perfect launchpad to explore the beautiful island or walk into town for some shopping / dinner!

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and private and the hot tub was a relaxing addition. Had everything we needed and the welcome basket was useful! We both really loved being surrounded by nature and hearing the birds and creek. Would recommend a capable vehicle as the driveway is not paved and is quite steep in some spots!

We had a great stay at O.U.R Ecovillage. The cob house was beautiful and well-kept, and Brandy was a warm and welcoming host. The space was immaculately clean, with lot of helpful instructions. We had a wonderful time touring the grounds and being inspired by the decades of labour that have gone into all the cob buildings on site, and spending time learning from and conversing with Brandy about her experiences in collective, eco-friendly living and liberatory movements was a real highlight for us. We'll definitely be back in a volunteer capacity and join for some of the many retreats, workshops and gatherings they have on site in the warmer months! Because we came in winter (and during a rare snowstorm!) the sloped driveway made it difficult to get into and out of the space, and I would recommend parking at the top of the hill should you visit in similar weather! The rental has a hot plate and kettle for simple snack prep, but plan to eat some meals in the main collective kitchen.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this lovely house. The space was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it the perfect escape from the city. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, allowing us to cook a great dinner together. We enjoyed playing games and relaxing before having a truly restful night’s sleep. This house exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable weekend.

A cozy and lovely stay during spring break. We enjoyed the load of organic snacks: felt so cared for! The goats were so wonderful for the kids to look at and added a neat element. We enjoyed the gas fireplace as it was cold out, the full kitchen and kid’s loved the sky bed and bunks. Couldn’t ask for much more in a cabin in the woods and on a goat farm!

If you are looking for a quiet, dark sky rural retreat with wonderful linens, a comfortable bed, good books, and a gracious host - this is the one for you. For those sensitive to scented products, you can rest assured that the cleaners used are safe. Plus, there are goats!

The place is very beautiful and peaceful. The room is perfectly decorated and of high quality. It is obvious they want the best for the guest based on how clean new and beautifully decorated the place is and the room is a good example for how all airbnbs could be with TLC. All the decorations matched so well.

This was one of my favourite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed! The photos do not do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our favourite part of this stay was the two border collies that followed us around we absolutely adored them. The skylight above the bed at night with the stars was unreal.

The spot was so charming and tranquil, especially as Bin worked the land to be a productive workable living place of nature. It made for a pleasant resting and recharging point for continuing our road trip.

Paradise! We stayed for two nights at this Country cabin. The hospitality Gillian and Charles showed us was absolutely incredible. Every single detail was thought of from the hand-written birthday card, the canister of coffee, thoughtfully placed fresh jam, butter, bread, croissants, farm fresh eggs, crisp linens, just WOW. We spent our second morning drinking coffee in the beautiful and private backyard outdoor space. Gillian’s attentive, kind & caring responsiveness is unrivalled and although we didn’t meet face to face, her warms shined through. We’ve started lovingly referring to her as “Grandma G”. We felt calm, cared for and grateful to have spent two nights at Willow Tree Farm! Thank you, Gillian & Charles, we can’t wait to be back!

Thank you for having us Leslie! Very clean space, fresh linens and a very comfortable bed! The patio was lovely and big and I enjoyed sitting and watching the animals. Surprise (the bull) was surprisingly very amusing! Very much enjoyed the location and it’s close to farms with tea, petting zoos and soaps.

Great place for friends/family gatherings. Each room has its own full bathroom. Very spacious eating area plus the basement. Bonue - watching numerous deer roaming around in tge property. Heidi, the host, is very friendly and responding quickly to messages. Great place and would like to return some day.

Bill and Karen were amazing. They are so friendly and make you feel like long lost friends. Their farm is lovely and so are all of their 4 legged animals. The place was so relaxing and quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again.

This is a great spot for inter-generational families because the layout of living areas and bedrooms allows everyone to to be separate or together as they choose. We loved the quirkiness combined with the lovely modern bathrooms. And the property surrounding the house is so much fun to explore. It is a great family house and all the kids loved the pool and water slide. We have already decided to come back next year.

Ya que aparte de ser muy amplia , es muy bonita; Krista siempre se mostró muy atenta y hospitalaria con nosotros, también fue muy accesible con los horarios y la comunicación bastante efectiva (tanto al responder los mensajes como de manera presencial); siempre tuvo mucha iniciativa para apoyarnos en cualquier inconveniente que tuviéramos incluso fuera de lo que ofrecía el alojamiento... Los paisajes y las vistas eran maravillosas desde cualquier ventana de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en ese lugar, ya que te encontrarás con excelentes anfitriones y una granja/casa hermosa ❤️

This was a special stay, and Stephnie was a great hostess. It was more than expected with great little touches like the six eggs in the fridge from Stephanie's hens. Excellent coffee beans from a local roaster and a wonderful selection of teas plus snacks too. Beautiful view from the breakfast nook and the kitchen has all the utensils, pots, and pans that you might need for a short stay. Loved the unique bath plus the fabulous shampoo, condition and soap from Salt Spring Soapworks. Wonderful bed and I left like a lamb! All-in-all a great time!

I travelled to Vancouver island for a weekend with my parents, husband, daughter and dog and stayed at Scott’s place. It was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the private enclosed yard for our dog to run around. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic because it was 10-15 mins drive from the activities we wanted to do (butchart gardens, downtown Victoria). Scott was very friendly and very easy to communicate with and proactive with any request! We would highly recommend his cabin and would stay there again when we visit next!
