I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Francesca has a lovely spot, very well located, clean and spacious. She was a very welcoming host and left thoughtful gifts - all in all I had a fantastic stay here. I’d highly recommend this option and hope to return one day :)

A fantastic little gem of a hideaway for a couple of nights near Witney. Only good things to say about Terry and Elaine’s property. Very close to LIDL for supplies and Witney for restaurants, with a secure garden for the dog and an excellent walk just around the corner. We were here for a couple of days to take part in a sailing event at Farmoor Reservoir and it proved to be the perfect location for us. Very friendly neighbouring pub even had vegan food for us. A shame the most direct route to the reservoir meant we had to go via the toll bridge at Swinford but we soon got over having to fork out 5p each way…🙂

An excellent property. The location is superb. At the centre of town, close to restaurants, pubs, tea-room, shops - a short walk from Waitrose. Very clean and very nicely set out and furnished. We enjoyed the Agatha Christie theming. Everything was jut as advertised. The door opening mechanism was very convenient. Would happily stay there again.

A great place to stay in Oxford, whether you are walking everywhere, and especially if you have a car. It is on a busier road, so there is some road noise. If that bothers you, bring earplugs or chose an alternative. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped. We would book again.

This place is in a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood. We love to stroll in the surrounding area. Lots of green grass and blooming flowers. An ideal place to stay for a person that loves nature.

Flat was lovely, spacious, bright, and clean. Location was perfect--close to everything in Jericho, a quick walk to city center, but quiet and private.

I had a wonderful week-long solo stay at Steve's place for a conference I was attending at Oxford. The basement apartment was perfect for what I needed -- super well-located (very walkable & good bus connections to city center), quiet street, well-equipped, and plenty of space for doing work from when needed. Steve & his wife were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Could’ve asked for a better location - as it’s a city centre spot everything was walkable which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Spotlessly clean, friendly host, comfy bed, with all amenities you would expect. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. The kitchen was fully equipped. Good connectivity to the city center. Great for short or long stays; we stayed for one month. Emma was very attentive and helpful with any of our requests

We had a wonderfully comfortable few nights here with our little dog. The host was excellent – incredibly helpful, friendly, and provided clear, detailed information throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, and the house itself was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a secure enclosed garden and stunning views. It was a perfect short break, and I’m already planning my next visit!

We had a great stay at Louisa's house. It has everything you need and is a home from home. Great to have a parking place as parking in Oxford is a nightmare. The bus stop for buses into Oxford is so close but it is also a quick walk, 20 to 30 minutes. Great Pub at the end of the road and shops nearby. Louisa and Simon were very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would definitely recommend.

The Airbnb is in an ideal location not too far from the railway station and town centre.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful countryside, a real retreat for us! It was spotless and very cosy with the log burner to gather round and the hot tub was a delight. Georgie was really helpful in having it hot for us on arrival which was fantastic after a long journey travelling! Beautiful walk to the village very nearby through the parkland - so relaxing. We had everything we needed and the cotswolds right on your doorstep to explore.

This was a great spot for visiting the Cotswolds. Very quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the main street with shops, grocery options and restaurants. (There's also an awesome antique mall at the bottom of the road that's worth a trek down the hill.) Beds were very comfy, bathroom was a great size and the kitchen had everything very well stocked. Loved having both a washer and a dryer. Our kids really appreciated the big tvs with Netflix - it was great to be able to flip on the fireplace and curl up with a movie after a long day of walking. Susan had so many thoughtful touches throughout - fresh flowers, water bottles and glasses in the bedrooms, tons of outlets and charging stations. She really thought about what guests need and it shows!

We had a lovely few days in Charlbury. Nick's place was great - perfect for our family of five with 3 small children. The huge (new?) sofa was so comfy and ideal to chill out on after a day spent running around outside. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the welcome coffee pods and oat milk were much appreciated. We loved it. Had dinner out both nights at The Bell and The Bull - thoroughly recommend. Kids loved the playground nearby. Nick was a great host - super responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

I had a truly wonderful stay at The Old Doctor's Retreat — this was everything I hope for in an Airbnb. The space itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly peaceful, with stunning views over the Oxfordshire countryside. Everything from the comfy king bed and luxury bathroom to the little details like the complementary paint colors, the rain shower, and laundry access made it feel like a cozy sanctuary. But what made this stay really special was Claire. She was not only a welcoming and responsive host, but also went above and beyond — warm, thoughtful, and generous with her time and conversation. It felt like staying with a friend who genuinely cared. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes Airbnb stand out — a beautiful space, in a beautiful village, with a truly kind and thoughtful host. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Easy place to find and the location was very good. The walk to the high street was nice and the journey to town did not take too long either. The apartment is spacious and modern and the smart tv was very easy to use and connect to. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

I wonderful little flat. Clean and nice bathroom. Lounge and kitchen were clean and well organised. The bed was comfortable. Exactly what you would hope for from an Air BnB Big park very close. 40 minute walk into the centre of oxford. I enjoyed being there.

It was great to stay at Greg’s place for a second time. AirBnB is as described. Greg is a great, friendly host who is very responsive to any questions or queries we had. We let him know one of the radiators did not work and he immediately brought over an electric heater. Highly recommend his place!

Perfect for our short stay in Oxford. The unit is clean and comfortable with everything we need already provided. The location might not be in the centre of Oxford but its perfect for us who prefer somewhere quiet and private.

Ricks place was very nice & clean. With loads of thing to help with your stay. Beds very comfy & the children liked that there was cereal in the morning with milk. We had been out all day visiting family, was really nice to come back & just have a cup of tea without thinking we needed to go to a shop first. Thank you for being a great host. We will come back again. 😊

The flat was warm and cosy. Good bus connections to the city centre. I walked into the city centre a number of days and it took under 30 minutes. Flat is clean and tidy. The staircase that gets you to the flat is a bit steep, but was ok for me. I went up and down carefully. The neighbourhood was quiet, which was nice as I was working. Good wifi strength. The communication from Mohammed and Noorjahan was timely. Mohammed responded to queries very helpfully. The downstairs neighbour, when they cooked, the smell was in the flat, for a short while. This did not bother me, it gave a sense of comfort. The windows allowed for good ventilation. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Great host. Nice flat.
