Cosy cottage with woodsy vibe. The deck looks out onto the trail and wood behind and is visited by Rosellas, Kookaburras, King Parrot, and cockatoos. They were the highlight of the trip. Shellie was amazing and gave us an intro to the wildlife and some sunflower seeds to interact with the birds. We even spotted a doe and kid wandering by. The breakfast basket was perfect for the duration of our stay. Shellie was very thoughtful in picking the items. We would definitely revisit.

Words don’t do justice to the views of the whole city and the amazing sunsets! Cozy and rustic with a great little fireplace..a great way to unwind for a couple of nights. Within walking distance of the local cafe and some great walking tracks that are full of local wildlife. A short drive to Olinda and within easy reach of everything that the Dandenongs have to offer. If you’re staying in and ordering Ubereats we highly recommend La Bocca Trattoria..worth every dollar!

Staying with Keren and Gwyn was very relaxed and beautiful. They are very kind, helpful and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped and breakfast food provided according to your needs. The garden in which one sits on the balcony is peaceful, and as I was there for more than 4 weeks I was permitted to use the washing machine and ironing board. It was nice chatting to Keren, when we happened to see each other, but each of us had their privacy too. I had a great time living there and am already considering to book again for next year.

What beautiful place. We loved it being a mud brick house. Had lots of character. It was roomy and comfortable for the 4 of us.

What a beautiful unit and the view was incredible. We had everything required for a comfortable, private stay overlooking the valley. High quality throughout, peaceful and a good location. We were lucky enough to have a late checkout which we are thankful for as it really helped us.. Thanks for a great stay.

My partner and I stayed three nights with Caroline. We checked in early and it was a very easy process. We walked up the street for a meal. Caught the train to the city, explored Macedon and hanging rock. It was a convenient location with breakfast included which saved us organising a meal. The bathroom is tiny but it was all functional and clean. The bed is comfy but just a double which may not suit some couples. We felt very welcome and would stay again, especially for the price!

A beautiful estate loved the gardens & the cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our night with our dog who felt like a king! We will recommend and if we are in the area again will come back for longer! Thank you Sharnie we loved reading about the heritage of Craignair house.
