We walked in the property in awe..!! What an amazing place “house on the hill” is. My wife and I couldn’t stop looking out at the view even at night time when it was dark. Under floor heating and a log fire certainly keeps you cozy throughout your stay. We had a bath on both nights together and we could sit side by side it’s that big and take in the view of the stars and planets. That was a first for both of us..!!! The bed is that comfy my wife had decided we need one exactly like it and the same size, which I’ve agreed too. We took in a day in Elie, Pitwimmen, St Monans & Anstruther. We had breakfast at the Pavillion and meal at Ship Inn. Both places were lovely and great food. We haven’t had the luxury like this before so we are going to book again for next year. Stayed at the old dairy with my partner for a wee trip away to explore Fife for a few days. Can’t recommend Ainslie's wee gem enough. It’s amazing. We had a lovely stay. Ainslie has thought of every detail and made it feel luxurious so it was a proper treat for us. The decor is funky and modern and the added touch of the fire and hot tub is amazing. Ainslie and her husband are lovely and very welcoming. The place is spotless. We will defo stay again. Thank you for making our trip away so special and being so welcoming.

just got home after spending 4 relaxing nights at the log cabin. Beautiful location so peaceful and tranquil. Hazel left a lovely welcome package which was much appreciated! Hot tub was fab to relax in and lovely and private as was the Sauna. Bed was very comfy and plenty of space in the whole cottage. The shower was amazing so powerful. if you book to stay here you will not be disappointed will definitely go back again!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

We had a lovely stay in Grange cottage! It was cosy and comfy and in a good location to explore the surrounding areas. The host was quick to reply to my message. The garden was lovely and the hot tub was a bonus. - thank you :)

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

What can I say? What a beautiful little Cottage right in the coast! We had such a perfect, quiet and peaceful evening in the Cottage and waking up this morning and hearing the waves crashing and birds tweeting was such a lovely feeling. The whole cottage was very clean and well cared for, with a great deal of amenities to use on our little stay. Nothing beats the perfect view, and cosy vibes. I 100% recommend a visit to this gorgeous cottage!

Relaxing and quiet, nice to have a wood burner. Short stroll to the harbour. Shops very close. Natalie very relaxed about check in and out. Good WiFi.

We were in Elie for 2 nights and the Cupboard was great for a short stay as we ate out both nights. Although exceptionally well equipped for such a short space it would have been difficult to cook. due to the lack of workspace. The design of the space is exceptional for the size of the space and the wood burner kept us lovely and cosy. There are 5 beds all together but it would have been a challenge having more than the 2 of us and our wee dog. We love Elie and will be back and it's very likely that we will use Short Stay St Andrews again.

We loved out time at Homelea Cottage and would definitely return! It was the perfect base for exploring Fife further. The cottage is decorated beautifully and is very spacious . It really felt like a home. We explored the surrounding areas, walked in Falkland, visited St Andrews and all along the East Neuk coast. We also took a train to Edinburgh. It was my first proper trip to Scotland ( aside from a work trip) and I loved it. We also managed to visit the Kelpies on our way up! Highly recommend this cottage, all communication was spot on and nothing seemed too much trouble. We dined at the Boars Head on our last day for Sunday lunch and this was a great recommendation! Lovely pub and stunning food. We will hopefully return sooner rather than later. Thanks again for a fantastic stay xx

This was our second stay at No 2 Stable Yard, Wemyss Castle Estate. Fantastic host, very responsive. On arrival we received a lovely hamper and welcome note. Paulina the housekeeper touched base to check everything was okay, which it was. Great location for exploring the Fife Coast.

een heerlijk verblijf gehad met mijn 2 kindjes. Prachtig uitzicht, mooie schone ruimtes en alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. bij binnenkomst sap, melk, koffie, suiker, chocolade repen (wat waren die lekker!!!) kruiden, olie aanwezig. Ook vaatwastabletten en wasmiddel is aanwezig. Dit huisje is echt een aanrader!! de omgeving is fenomenaal en een wandeling naar het eiland en de waterval zeker aan te raden! de host is heel vriendelijk en reageerd heel snel! ik hoop hier zeker een keer terug te kunnen komen.

Can’t recommend Rona and Bryan’s beautiful home No 3 Rose street enough. We had the most wonderful and relaxed weekend with our dog 🐕 Rona and Bryan met us on arrival, made us feel totally at home, giving us local recommendations and showing us around. The cottage is perfect, enclosed garden for the dog, cozy interior, spotlessly clean and the bed was so so comfortable. Rona and Bryan had already popped some bread, milk, tea, coffee, dog treats and some adult treats, such a lovely thing to do. We honestly can’t wait to return. Lovely cottage in a great location. Very clean and well thought out decor and amenities.

Cottage is in a great location with easy walk to town centre, swingpark and harbour. Kitchen/sitting area is great for having everyone in one area and the garden is lovely. The cottage was well stocked with everything you could need from kitchen equipment and outdoor items including badminton rackets and football (oh and a wee dog bed I found in hall cupboard). Beds were comfy and the rooms had great blackout blinds (which are sometimes lacking in other places). Would definitely use again and recommend to families.

We had a lovely few nights in Ashley and Neil's place. The cottage was more than enough for two people and a small dog, on a peaceful stretch of street opposite a park with lots of mature trees. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and I really appreciated how quickly they replied to messages. The house was clean and tidy, and had all that we needed for our stay. My only disappointment was that we couldn't use the fireplace (listing a 'fireguard' as an amenity alongside the pictures suggested to me that it was an option), but that said, the house was comfy and warm, so we still enjoyed a few cosy quiet evenings. Our Carnoustie days were spent visiting nearby cafe Gather for lunch (v happy to see vegan options), a walk along the breezy beach and some beers in the Station Hotel bar – then spending the evening at the cottage. Thanks for having us. :)

Wir wurden herzlich von Nick und den Hühnern begrüßt. Auf dem Tisch erwartete uns ein Kuchen und ein Sekt. Wie nett! Alles war genau so wie beschrieben, das Häuschen war sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We loved our stay in the house. We came for a few days of surfing at the surf pool Lost Shore, which was just a 10-minute drive away. Everything we needed was there, including a well-equipped kitchen, and there’s a Lidl and Aldi just around the corner. The beds were super comfortable. We highly recommend the house, also if you want to visit Edinburgh but prefer to stay a bit outside the city. It’s just a 30-minute drive away.

Lovely wee cottage to stay in for our first nights of married life together and was touched by the bottle of Prosecco left from the hosts after I had let them know of the occasion. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Fishponds cottage. The hosts were super helpful at providing information about how to find the cottage along with helpful tips about walks in the area and how to spot wildlife. There was an abundance of birds and squirrels visiting the garden. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Inside, the cottage was tastefully decorated but our favourite feature was the beautiful back garden. We were blessed with great weather and it was the perfect place for having a BBQ and for an Easter egg hunt which the kids loved. A lovely, peaceful stay and we can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful cottage - even better than the pictures. Took my parents to stay at Tracy’s cottage as a post-Christmas treat - it was wonderful. Incredible setting and views and all rooms super comfy and really thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Lots of lovely walks nearby and Tracy was super helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying again! 😊
