Very nice place. I can tell the owners maintain it well and take care of everything. It looked like the exterior landscaping had recently been redone. I felt right at home. Will stay here again.

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

Enjoyed our second stay here with the kids and the dogs. The dogs loved all the open space and running through the trails exploring the property. Great place to get away for a few days with plenty of privacy.

This home was very clean, cozy, and inviting. We loved the little games scattered throughout the house! The hot tub was amazing after a day of outdoor winter fun and the wooded trails were a nice, quiet retreat.

My family and I enjoyed this place. Super cute and cozy. Not too far from Boyne Mountain (we had a blast there!) My daughter enjoyed the hot tub. The view of the stars from the hot tub was AMAZING!!! Only con is the projector sound was too low. Having a sound system would make it better. Ultimately, i would stay there again. Super responsive host too.

N.M. was a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive! The adjustable room temperature was great as each guest could set the temp to their liking, loved that. The house was cozy and the hot tub was an amazing bonus to our low key girls weekend away. We bumped into one of their neighbors on the private drive and they were very friendly as well. A great area in the woods while being close to town! We will be back!

We loved our winter stay in the cabin. It was warm, cozy and had what we needed after xc skiing all day.

My family and I had a really great experience staying at Uncle Tom's Cabin in Grayling, Michigan. It was a good balance between privacy, waterfront access, and having fun in the game room. We would all like to return sometime in the near future. A couple of recommendations to management: the well water stains in the bathroom sink and toilets needs to be addressed, the water pressure was also very low in the bathrooms, including the shower. Adding a third bathroom would be great especially with larger group of 10 people. Also, the communication with True North needs to improve, it feels impersonal when we aren't getting responses to specific questions, but only receive auto generated ones. Overall, looking forward to returning to Uncle Tom's :)

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The lakeside cabin is cozy, with beautiful lakeside views, kayaks to enjoy the lake, and perfectly placed chairs and campfire steps from the water. The cabin had everything we needed.

If you are looking for an awesome place close to Gaylord and Grayling this is it! Old cabin with hunting/outdoor vibes! Will hopefully be back for some river fly fishing this spring!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming, rustic cabin that was the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Nestled in a serene, wooded setting, the cabin felt like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabins interior was warm and inviting and the soft lighting and cozy furnishings made it an ideal place to relax, especially after a day spent outdoors. The stove was a highlight and many baked items were made. Helpful signage and detailed instructions made check in a breeze. Will recommend to friends / family.

Had an absolutely lovely stay for my birthday trip!! Beautiful location, saw lots of wildlife, and even got to watch deer cross the river. Would love to come back and fish in the summer/fall months! Perfect for our family, only wish the trip was longer!

By far the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed at. We are so grateful we found this place and can’t wait to go back! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Jeff and Beth were great hosts.

I live right across the road and I rented it for my dad while we hosted my daughters wedding. It was perfect for him. Check in and out easy.

Our family rented all 3 cabins, we had 6 adults and 5 kids. We were all very comfortable! Very clean! We used the kayaks that Kent had at the cabins and had lots of fun! Just a short walk to the public access to put the kayaks in Lake Margrethe. I would recommend these cabins!!

They really went above and beyond for our family vacation! They had great communication! The place was beautiful and so clean. They even had graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate ready for s’mores! Such a special touch to their hospitality!! They had toys for the kiddos to play with too, which was amazing because we didn’t bring too many toys with us! Over all it was an amazing stay and I highly recommend!

Kin Cabins were in a great location near the lake. The cabin was clean and newly remodeled. We will definitely stay here again.

The Thunderbird Lodge is a very special place. Great history as a classic fishing lodge on the Au Sable. Very clean for a classic building, communication was as great as it could be, always responded quickly and pleasantly. Completely private, wilderness setting. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Becky’s place was very nice. It was clean and well equipped for a lake vacation. The lady who takes care of the home is right next door and brought us homemade pumpkin bread!! What more could you ask for. :)
