This was such a great place to stay for a laidback get together to celebrate a birthday. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals for each day we stayed, enough towels for 5 people for showers and to dry off after the hot tub. The bathrooms were stocked up with travel sized soap and shampoo/conditioner. A very beautiful & clean cabin experience! The trains were not a bother whatsoever even if they were frequent, we enjoyed them and didn’t find them to be a distraction or too loud. We ended up hiking at the Sugar Creek Bluff which we found with the brochures left at the cabin. The overlook was absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for a group of 5 and easy check in/check out process. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise view that the stay provided and the view of the river. While the cabin was nearby to others, we felt very private and secluded. We were not bothered at all during our stay which was preferred. Also, the clue game was so much fun to complete. :)

Very beautiful location with a great view of the Mississippi River. We had fun playing pool and spent time in the hot tub and around the fire. We would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Not much to say about this except that we've always had a great time here and we will keep returning as long as it's available! Clean and well stocked and just a fun vibe. There is plenty of room for friends to spend a relaxing weekend away. The screened in porch is really everything you need - the house is just a bonus. :)

The photos don’t show the fact that this space is actually two rooms- one bedroom, one bathroom, and one dining area with sliding doors out to patio. We made great use of the hot tub.

This cabin is AMAZING! The host truly has thought of everything. It’s so well done and well appointed, it fells luxurious to stay here. The valley is gorgeous, I definitely plan to return in fall when it’ll be even more beautiful. Organic cotton bedding, high quality kitchen wares, the perfect glasses for sipping an old fashioned in the hot tub, heated floors in the bathroom, the list goes on and on! Book it, it’s worth every penny!!

cabin and surroundings were beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay, hot tub and fire pit area are nice amenities. Quiet area easy to find and Eric is a very responsive and friendly host. Will definately stay again

Perfect location and setup for a family of four with two small dogs. Lots to explore in the surrounding towns, fenced in yard for the dogs, and plenty of comfy space for all. We’ve stayed at two of Gabby’s places now and have had wonderful experiences!

I get together with my friends from college once per year as we all live in different states and we felt this was the perfect space for us to reunite and utilize the hot tub and wrap around deck.

Loved our stay here. The cabin was clean and cozy and comfortable. We occasionally would hear a car pass but it otherwise felt incredibly peaceful and quiet. Made for a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin and location! This is the perfect quiet relaxing get-a-way. Loved hiking and time in the hot tub. We were able to melt the work stress away and leave feeling rejuvenated!
