Croglin : locations de vacances

We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

We stayed here for a family get together, there was 16 of us, but it felt like there was plenty of space and lots to do in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was lovely after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful stay in the converted barn. It was so impressive to see the photos of Angela and Wayne's efforts in the instruction book and really appreciated all the information and communication provided. Beds were comfortable, we were warm and all amenities were perfect for what we needed. We definitely want to return one day and will recommend to friends!

Well maintained & cared for quirky cottage with clean & spacious rooms. Kitchen well equipped for a short stay. Stunning views over valley. In lovely, safe & peaceful location. Parking space for 1 moderate size vehicle, however whilst we stayed in low season there is on street parking on main rd for free, which is a few mins walk to cottage if you have more than 1 vehicle. Cottage is about 5 minute walk to local Coniston amnesties (petrol station, several pubs, convenience store and chip shop). Coniston inn pub is a 15 minute walk or they have their own car park for free with lovely surrounding views - lovely home cooked food & would highly recommend, however if possible best to pre book as it gets very busy in evenings. Windermere is about 30-35 mins drive away through winding country roads that ambled through beautiful & stunning scenery. Wills information about the cottage & instructions were very helpful. Very good communication from hosts. Would highly recommend. Would stay again

Karen was very attentive most helpful. She had the place ready for our arrival and even made flapjacks a totally unexpected treat. Karen even left a pamphlet out of a local walk we could do and possibly see some deer. Our son left his mobile phone behind and Karen ensured it was posted to our next address that day express post. This is going above and beyond what is required for a B&B and was hugely appreciated.

A perfect weekend - every little detail was 5*. The views were beautiful, the accommodation was amazing and so spacious! The host Stuart was super responsive. We went to the cafe on the farm for breakfast and it was also lovely. We will for sure be returning! Thank you for having us!
