This Airbnb is in a very unique location. It’s right in the middle of the town and really showcases what the town has to offer. It’s a very cool place, and was a very fun stay.

I've enjoyed staying at Mary's cabin for solo writing retreats. The tiny cabin has a fantastic layout, is fully stocked, and has fast, reliable wifi. Bed is very comfortable. It's quiet with great views. I feel very safe as a solo traveler because it's far off the road and the main house is just a few steps away. I highly recommend to any looking for a peaceful retreat!

What a wonderful stay and experience. Just book your stay at Rip's Cabin and you will feel cared for every step of the way. It's not just because the cabin has everything you want for the typical five star experience but because Samuel and Jessica went far beyond. After checking in, the kids kept excitedly telling us to come look at something cool they had found. I found myself smiling many times seeing something they added that I didn't know I wanted. It's not just the heart warming features either, how many times have I stayed at a great Airbnb but not known where the safety related items are? At Rip's Cabin, I knew immediately without having to dig into the manual. Samuel and Jessica are simply my new standard for excellence. Thank you!

The speed limit on the gravel road leading up to John and Carrie's place is 25 MPH, which feels slow, but's actually just right. You'll want the extra time to prepare yourself for what's in store. The space is perfect. It is as simple as that. It felt like the space was built yesterday and I was the first guest to ever set foot inside. Every inch, corner, nook and crannie was fresh, clean, spotless and tasteful. And then of course there is the view out of every window. I've never seen so many Cascade mountain peaks in one glance. It's about a 20 minute drive to town, so my recommendation is this: bring everything with you and just settle in. You won't want to leave. Bring your reading, your writing, your sketch pad or your camera... bring the things you want to do but never seem to have time for. You will be inspired. And as others have mentioned, John and Carrie are lovely hosts who clearly take pride in this one-of-a-kind space. We are lucky that they choose to share it with us.

Great house, with really high quality cookware! The whole place felt very high end and nice. Welcome gift of a bottle of wine and dark chocolate was such a great treat upon arrival!
