This place was perfect for our group of 16. Easy walk to the ski hill and even easier to ski back. The place was very comfortable with lots of amenities. The jacuzzi was perfect to relax in after a day of skiing. Would definitely come back.

We loved our stay. Unfortunately the hot tub did close for one of our nights but the weather was crazy. just keep that in mind as they are outdoor hot tubs. otherwise it was lovely:)

This condo is a great space. It’s very functional and comfortable. More than anything however, the views are absolutely the best that I have ever had while on a ski trip. Obviously part of that is Fernie‘s natural beauty, but the views from the living room were absolutely spectacular!

We had a lovely stay. Richard’s place is clean and comfortable and roomy. Walking distance to the slopes but ended up driving to the parking lot with the kids. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations! Jake

Great chalet for our group of 8, easy access to and from the mountain

Nice big space so lots of room for a larger group. Well appointed kitchen, large dining room table for games/eating. Hot tub nice for apres ski!

The unit was perfect for our ski weekend. A few items to note: as other reviews had mentioned it’s a bit of a walk to the ski hill. Very doable for adults, but after one day with the kiddo we decided to drive to the drop off the remaining days. The unit is in a great location for hottub/bbq/parking lot access (easy to move gear in!) but be aware that the second bedroom’s window is next to the hottub and you can hear noise from it. While we were there other guests respected the 10pm rule however. Had an odd encounter with the owner of the unit needing something out of his locked closet but I spoke with host Stephanie who was incredibly responsive and helpful and it was resolved. We would come back to this unit again.

Great place to stay with family or friends! The cabin was very cool and we enjoyed our stay here. The pictures did not do it justice, it was better than we expected. We had some issues with the sauna but were able to get it working eventually. The hot tub was great.

Excellent booking in Fernie. Place was perfect for the group of four we had in town for a fly fishing trip. The house is right next to the river and an easy walk into town for restaurants and groceries. The place was super clean with a great kitchen, common area, and nice patio. Will definitely book again. 100% satisfied!

The fireplace was very cozy and there was plenty of wood. It was very nice being able to bring our furry friends with us. There was lots of room in the back yard for the dog to run around in.

This place is so beautiful and peaceful! We absolutely loved everything about our trip here and definitely will be back. The perfect place to embrace the beauty of nature, nestled in with beautiful views in a warm and cozy place, and so much to explore! It was a magical winter wonderland!

Two night stay in a beautiful setting; enjoyed the amenities, especially pool with slide, hot tub, and sauna. Perfect for families with children.

Great place in a perfect location. I was in Fernie on a business trip and this place had all I needed.

Great place to stay. Facing the ski mountain and easy to hop on Elk Chair lift and take the Ell ski run to the back side of the building. The fireplace was great and the building was so quiet. They also had fans to turn on while sleeping for white noise and the bed was comfy. Other reviews are right it’s a little dated but super clean and cozy. It would go a long way to make small upgrades so the shower head was better and the shower curtain didn’t float up. Overall, an excellent stay and I plan to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and for the most part well stocked as far as kitchen and bathroom go. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and steam room. We found Silver Rock to be well maintained and very quiet. People were very friendly. When we needed assistance the Silver Rock people were helpful and they got back to us relatively quickly. We stayed for a month so in that time period we had very few issues and would definitely consider staying again.

The Silver Rock is a great place to stay for a trip to Fernie. The hot tub, pool and sauna are great ways to relax after a trip the ski hill, which is just 5-10 minutes away. It’s close to all restaurants. The kitchen is stocked with basics to do your own cooking, nothing fancy but you get by. The email spam to buy trip insurance beforehand is annoying, but can be ignored. All in all, you can’t go wrong here, you’ll have an enjoyable trip to Fernie.
