What an amazing location WOW, Douglas was amazing to work with, super helpful and made us feel right at home. If you love the sites of DC then this is the place for you, everything is right around the corner, Metro, White House, Mall, Museums etc…. thank you so much for a memorable trip, comfy beds and phenomenal location.

the place was perfect for my son and I when we went out to DC for Tyler the Creator concert. not far from everything. uber rides pretty cheap to anywhere. it's right in the heart and nothing is more than 4 miles. I would for sure come back here next time in DC. Patrick was a great host and very helpful.

Our host was very communicative and made checkin and checkout a breeze. The space was clean, and very cozy, I wish I booked for more nights! Felt like a home away from home. The location was also great, quiet yet walkable to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Ha and Todd's place felt like a home away from home! Details and instructions were given right before we checked in, and everything ran smoothly. The perfect amount of space for all 4 of us to visit DC, relax, and enjoy movies at the end of the evening. Towels and necessities were provided and carefully thought out. Besides all the noise in the middle of the night from upstairs, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great time in DC. Carla and Fred’s place is in a great location (Capitol Hill) an ideal residential area with local parks, coffee shops, markets and restaurants an easy 10-20 minute walk. We arrived via Amtrack and Union Station which was at 20 minutes walk, but we did a lot of sightseeing and used Ubers to get around. The place was as described and pictured. We travelled with our two 13 y. o. grandchildren and Carla allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The basement apartment is clean and cozy. I recommend it for 2 , ror a family because the other two beds aren’t truly separated from the main bed, however the 13 y.o. didn’t seem to mind, so it’s perfect for a family and gives more room and separation than a hotel room with two beds. Carla and Fred are a friendly couple with interesting stories to share. I’ll give them a 5!

The place is in a lovely neighborhood near the Eastern Market and easily walkable to the mall. The space is well laid out, and the bathroom and kitchen were well appointed. The natural light in the unit was good, as was the indoor lighting. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. I needed an extra blanket for the chilly weekend, but they delivered one shortly after I requested it. I am able-bodied, but the steps leading to the main entry are fairly steep and without much support around them. That's just the nature of an English basement, but I note this for those that might have issues with strength and balance.

This property was exactly how DaJuan described it. Whenever in the DMV area again I’ll make sure to book with DaJuan. The only thing I would advise is utilize the window units if the air is not your desired temp. Being from Texas I’m always hot and like my air on 70 or below. Couldn’t have asked for a better host 👍🏾.

Cute, clean basement apartment. EZ in and out. Snacks were a plus. If visiting Parkview or Petworth, this is an excellent option for 1 or 2 people.

We spent a month in Danielle’s apartment. We’ve stayed in many AirBnB apartments and this one was by far the best stocked place we’ve ever been to. Danielle is super responsive, usually getting back to us immediately when we had questions or concerns. We discovered a few excellent restaurants walking distance away (Pikateo, Aracosia) that we’d go back to if we were there again. Having a UPS store in the building was super convenient. We’d definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we’re in town for a while.
