Culebra : locations de vacances

Our stay at Bubis Nest was amazing. The location is peaceful, you’re fully immersed in nature, I’m sure there is no where else like it on Culebra. It was beautifully surrounded by plants, wildlife, starry skies and the VIEWS !! Our stay exceeded expectations and we would go back, however one should think of it like amazing glamping and prepare accordingly. The communal kitchen is right across from the rental which is convenient. Bring everything you will need to cook (including paper towels, oil, food wrap to cover leftovers etc). The space is very, very small with no storage. We had two small suitcases and they took up the entire room. Rolling the suitcases from the parking area was also a schlep. The bathroom has a wonderful rainfall shower head but it does get everything including the floor wet after using the shower. It will dry by morning. The hill that Bubis nest sits on is its key benefit, the VIEW!! But it is STEEP 🫣 you 100% need a jeep, and arrive before dark.

As everyone says, it is a climb up the hill on a 4x4 but once at the top there is a great view looking down at the harbor and across the island. That is certainly the highlight of this stay. We mostly hung out and ate outside on the covered porch. The upstairs is a loft with both beds, so no privacy, but plenty of room. The stairs are bit steep and winding and I think you might have to duck your head a little (I'm 6 ft). This wasn't a problem for us, but might be a concern for others. We ate dinners out, so the kitchen was fine for us, but not really set-up for cooking a full dinner. The area was quiet; no nearby morning roosters during our stay. Everyone in the family really enjoyed staying here and we'd happily stay here again.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and it includes all the amenities mentioned. Its very comfortable for a family of four and a nice place to relax! The road to get there is bumpy and dark at night but its worth it for the stunning view this place offers and the tranquility. Loved it and really recommend it!

Graciela’s was perfect for our stay in Culebra. We loved the location, the vistas, the surrounding gardens, the privacy and peaceful evenings. Graciela was immediately proactive to address any concerns or questions that occurred. We liked that the home is solar powered and off the grid. Most of all we loved snorkeling in front of the property. Beautiful sea fans, recovering corals and fish. Definitely the best snorkeling experience on our vacation! Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer and spent more time with Graciela and Felix.

I literally can’t even describe the magic of this home. We literally asked if they would consider selling the home to us within an hour of arriving. We have stayed in dozens of air b and bs in some amazing places and never has one exceeded our expectations in this way. We are excited to get back to Culebra and plan to stay at this magical home! Absolutely best trip ever.

I can't say enough about Dan's place. We were traveling with a 20mo old baby who got sick on the ferry. Kelly went out of her way to help us have a clean and wonderful stay. We left feeling like friends. The view, animals, suggestions, care and respect we experienced were impeccable. The driveway was scary the first few times in our overloaded mini van but we acclaimed eventually. Highly recommend!!

Localidade muito preservada, ótimo lugar para descansar! Lugar com boa infraestrutura, casa com churrasqueira, fogão, geladeira e ar condicionado. entretanto lugar poderia ter mais amenidades para o turista, como cadeiras de praia e guarda sol (sem necessitar alugar), máscaras de mergulho e prancha de stand up paddle seriam acessórios muito úteis tendo em vista a dificuldade de encontrar os mesmos na ilha.

¡Excelente lugar! Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado. La ubicación es perfecta. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para alojarse por unos días. ¡Cerca de todo! Definitivamente volveré. Gracias 🙏🏼
