Fascinating, historic building in walkable downtown Harrisburg. I feel like I got to absorb some of Harrisburg’s history & culture by staying at Emily’s place. The accommodations are very basic (“hostel vibes”), but the space is clean and reasonably quiet given the bustling location.

I loved staying here, everything was amazing. I got lucky and got one of the rooms that looked out over the river, and the room and bathroom were beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Coffee is always available and the house is very clean. Within walking distance to Sheetz, Chipotle, Starbucks, etc. Highly recommend!

Carolyn's place is everything! Delicious breakfast, hot bath, comfy bed. I slept sooo good here. Love the house! Didn't have too much time to explore the surroundings but I definitely wanted to. Carolyn, along with her family and this inn are a blessing and simply charming. Will def be back to stay again 💓💓

We loved seeing this beautiful civil war home. Well appointed with great architecture. The rooms were spacious and very clean , bathroom had a nice shower. We enjoyed the breakfast quiche and chatting with the other guests. (Breakfast has a separate cost) Was a great stop on our way to a family reunion in Virginia. We have already recommended it to others. Don’t miss stopping at this place!

The room was great. It was a beautiful bed and breakfast in a historic building. The atmosphere was great. The room was comfortable and clean. There were other guests in the house, but you did not hear them. The breakfast was homemade and self-serve. We only stayed overnight and did not get to enjoy the quaint town. It did look nice.

Was in town with my son for some college trips, and Lauren’s place was just what we needed. Clean, reasonably priced, smack-dab in the center of town. The breakfast was delicious, and the Inn itself had tons of character. I’d recommend this place and its unique and eclectic style to any traveler.

Clean and comfortable. Convenient to Downtown, local college and dance school. Off street parking is Safe and convenient. Kitchen is fully loaded with appliances and washer/dryer. Host is available and easy to contact. We will look forward to staying in Squad Bay again.

City House is an amazing place to stay! Love the location right on the river, easy access to things to do and places to eat, and also felt so private and cozy at the same time! The historic house is BEAUTIFUL.

Excellent host, I felt at home the moment I pulled in the driveway, Russell greeted me as I exited my vehicle and was as excited that I had arrived as I was to be there. The grounds are spectacular, the home is exquisite. The fresh prepared breakfasts are amazing. Accommodations were perfect, clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the morning conversations with the other guests and poolside chats as everyone was relaxing. Russell is a magnificent host and could not do enough to make my stay more pleasant and comfortable. Russell’s expertise really shows in his beautiful yard and manicured lawns . A remarkable stay.

I have stayed at this Airbnb several times now. Dylan is an exceptional host which is why I continue to come back! My stay is always comfortable! I will always look to come here when there is a place I need to stay!

Wow, A home away from home, maybe even more cozy if I might say! Dylan was a true friend, but a quiet and mindful mannered PA Man. The character of the House/property/town is AMAZING! If you happen to visit and have time on your stay! Walk over to the Mechanicsburg Museum Association Wed-Sat Noon to 3. I stayed in the Vincent van Gogh Room, 100% Worth every penny! ARTIST INSPIRATION GETAWAY! Thanks so much great host Dylan!, can’t wait to visit again and see more nice old towns like this in PA!! The property provided a comfortable stay, early 1800s well-kept home original character thought main guest areas. Dylan was a helpful PA man with a quiet and mindful demeanor. The character of the house, property, and town is noteworthy!!! Visitors should consider visiting the Mechanicsburg Museum Association from Wednesday to Saturday, noon- 3 pm. I stayed in the Vincent van Gogh Room, which was worth the cost in every way, view of streets, private bath, drafting table fridge true inspiration!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mooreland Garden Inn. My sister and I were on a college tour of Pennsylvania and decided to splurge to make our trek more enjoyable. Dawn was an incredible host and totally set the tone by calling in advance to ask about our timing, food preferences, and what our travels were for. We arrived in the middle of a horrible rainstorm and were met with a lovely tour, and followed up with snacks, wine, and chatting. Dawn gave lovely recommendations for visiting Carlisle, fed us incredible food, the bed and room were so lovely, and we honestly can't wait to visit again. If you want to sleep in a comfortable, clean, beautiful room, eat lovely food, and feel taken care of, don't hesitate to book a room here. You won't regret it.
