The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

My family had an excellent stay at Claire's! I would say it was one of the cleanest airbnbs we have stayed at. Very family friendly and convenient to get around Lake district. Very highly recommended, we would stay there again if when we visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary Meadows. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The welcome pack of tea, coffee etc was much appreciated and the bottle of wine a lovely gesture. The cottage is in a beautiful area and we enjoyed many walks from the door! We were so lucky with the weather and therefore made use of the garden area. We would definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves!

I had a great stay at the barn. Ann was a great host, very attentive and friendly. All round a good place to visit the Howgill fells and south lakes from. I will certainly be back.

Had a lovely time staying here, the cabin is lovely and has everything you need in. It is a remote place with a lovely fenced off area outside which is great for dogs and great views too. Will be booking again to stay in the future, well worth it 😊

Felt so at peace staying here. The home is very quaint, but cozy. The street and surrounding areas was so nice to walk around and it was such a perfect location to get around the lakes.

Back from a lovely stay at Richard’s beautiful property. The photos don’t do it justice. Great open space for living, dinning and kitchen. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms! Also has a pretty courtyard garden. Central location close to restaurants and pubs. Will definitely return!

Lovingly restored property with oodles of internal space for 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 children). The high ceilings, exposed beams and the veluxe windows with views of the sky were particular highlights. Langway has all the amenities inside you could need and more. Lovely to have an air bnb place that has the key bits in the kitchen that make life a bit easier when you're only a way a short period and haven't bought absolutely everything with you - cling/foil/condiments/ squash. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Beds and bedding were really comfy. Sofas not super comfy, but we didn't spend long say on them as we were mainly out exploring. Not far to Kendal and to Windemere by car. Langway has limited outside space, but we knew that on booking and the little courtyard with table and chairs was enough for us. It does face on to the lane, but the lane is exceedingly quiet with only a handful of cars ever passing. Overall, would definitely recommend!

The house was everything we could have expected. In a quiet spot with great views and sheep to greet you in the morning. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Two bathrooms and an extra loo downstairs was very 'convenient'! As you can tell, we greatly enjoyed our short stay.

Lovely stay. House was exactly as described and in the perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi Reg and Lynn, From Darren, Vic and Charlie, we want to say a massive thank you for your hospitality, your kindness and allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. we've had the best few days in a long time and felt part of your wonderful family whilst allowing us space and privacy to truly relax. we'd like to thank you also for the little extras we found upon arrival which were most thoughtful and kind. We struggled to leave this morning and the love you've all put into the cottage was felt from the second we walked through the door. I really don't think the photos do justice to the beauty and charm. The local walks are wonderful, the beach is an absolute delight, you've made everything perfect for us and hope we'll be back one day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it's been the most perfect of breaks Darren, Vic and a truly tired Charlie x

This place was amazing. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating leaving you wanting for nothing, along with little touches to the property like refilling the firewood whilst we were out on a walk in the lakes, to things like a fresh loaf of bread with a choice of jam or butter in the fridge when we arrived. The photos of the place are beautiful, and although they don’t do it justice for what you get, I can honestly say that you practically have a full, well maintained, clean, cosy and comfortable house/ barn to live in for your stay. It was the perfect weekend for us all in all and we can’t thank Pat and Neil enough. I was particularly impressed with when we departed, Pat and Neil were asking for feedback and opinions showcasing their ongoing thoughts of continuous improvement for all their future guests. It’s hard to top what they’re already doing, as they’ll continue to strive for that which was clear. You can’t go wrong staying here and I’d definitely recommend.

A real hidden treasure, but close enough to the main roads (but not too close for any noise to disturb the peaceful surroundings). Our hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, giving some great ideas for exploring some of the less well-known areas of the Lake District. The location of Bella’s Barn is ideal as a base for exploring the Lake District and within a short drive of both the north and south lakes. The accommodation is very well appointed and exactly as described. The hot tub was a welcome bonus and was well used every night. Being in an EV, the location is ideal for few minutes drive to Tebay services for either the Tesla superchargers or the other EV chargers.. You can even have a quick look in the Farm Shop at the services and grab a few local treats with some of the local produce or cakes.

We’ve just got back from a beautiful stay at the cottage. We stayed two nights and wish we’d booked more time! We had a lovely experience start to finish, we had clear instructions of where to go and found the farm very easily. Check in was straightforward and the cottage was immaculate. The fresh eggs from the farm were a lovely touch, we had them for breakfast the following morning. Kelly kept in touch in case there was anything we needed but we had everything and more. We have a 6 month old and Kelly provided a high chair and travel cot which was great. There are some great pub/restaurants really close and we also had a day out in Corbridge which had some amazing cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Brilliant experience. Jonathan and family are super nice, the place is beyond immaculate, and especially as a family with small children, it has everything you could possibly need and more - one of the best equipped homes we've stayed at on AirBnB. From high chairs, to bed barriers, books, games, children's toys, it had everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and easy. The garden area is huge, with plenty for our kids to do; complete even with a resident chicken roaming the garden! The location is beautiful, surrounded by fells, and it's a short drive from Keswick. Thanks for a lovely weekend, and we hope to stay again in the future.

The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District area. It was peaceful yet easy to find. The house was spotless and very well maintained. Beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Andrew and Lynn were excellent hosts — very responsive and easy to communicate with. The only small recommendation would be to have a few more forks available, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. Thank you again!

Beautiful, clean little cottage close to Coniston (20 minutes drive). Very clean , free of clutter. Simon was a very welcoming and responsive host. The late complimentary check out was a very welcome bonus . Would definitely book again. Thank you Simon.

We had a fantastic time in the Lake District and the house was perfect the only thing that let it down was that the garden is not secure to let the dogs out which was a shame, apart from that it was perfect. The location was brilliant and the house was very homely and warm.

We had such a lovely week here! Within a day we were plotting our return. Karen's cottage is just gorgeous. Went with my other half and his parents and it was a perfect size for 4 (we then had a few days to ourselves after they left and great for 2 people as well). Wonderful views from the windows and from the front yard. It was a little cool for us to sit at the table outside but we did manage one lunch outside and in warmer weather it would be glorious both day and night. The house is clean, quiet, comfy beds, good shower, lovely decor, great woodburner, all mod cons needed in the kitchen, and really nicely done up. So ticks all boxes basically! The location is perfect - just 5 min walk to the little high street and the pubs (great pubs & great beer)and eateries there. Karen is great - super friendly and helpful - gave us lots of tips about the local area. And great to communicate with - replies within minutes. Def recommend and very much hope to return soon.

Laurence and John were fantastic hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. The house is in a perfect location for commuting and walking. It has everything we needed very cosy. And full of personal touches that made it feel homely. 100% would stay here again and recommend to anyone.
