I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motherby House and am so grateful to the hosts, Jacquie and David, for making me feel so welcome. They’re both kind and engaging—and they gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Jacquie kindly made me a tasty packed lunch for my hike! I’d be very happy to stay here again.

Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

Beautiful warm clean accommodation . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathroom was large, very clean and hot water. Julie left us a wide choice of breakfast including vegan, lovely. Very private and quiet, parking. Attention to detail was great “sheep” .

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

Rosie and Paul are delightful and very welcoming people. We had a nice tea and talk on arrival. Room is spacious. Breakfast is superb. The Coast to Coast cylce route - which I was following - is conveniently next to their place. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

Review of an Excellent Cottage in the Lake District My recent stay at a cottage in the Lake District was absolutely fantastic! Andrea & Paul met us, showed us around and offered some recommendations. They were friendly & engaging. The loft is cozy & inviting, would have liked a longer stay. The coffee/tea tray in the morning was a lovely touch.

Diane was a very responsive host and an extremely lovely person. She and Ian were very helpful, the location of the BnB was excellent, the room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Diane’s cooking was also incredible, we enjoyed two very lovely breakfasts. We would absolutely stay again!

Would highly recommend staying here, I stayed here for my birthday and it was the perfect night away, tranquil, scenic and absolutely worth the money! Tobias is a class host so unbelievably friendly and accommodating!

Very convenient location. Friendly interesting host. We were able to use the kitchen which was very helpful and helpful provided help yourself breakfast. Bed comfy and pleasant room.

From the moment of booking onwards Jenny was so helpful and easy to communicate with! Along with her beautiful dog Benson they are the perfect hosts :) very friendly and welcoming while fully respecting your privacy should you want it. What a beautiful home, in a beautiful location. Pat was an amazing host, was very responsive to my questions and went over and beyond to make me feel welcome. I arrived earlier than check in just to advise that I was actually there and was not a no show due to me not returning till late that night. I was given my keys and had immediate access to the room and a quick drink in the bar before I went to do my thing . A lovely place to come home to with friendly locals in the bar while I was having a nightcap :-)

Due to poor weather we decided to look for a local B&B in Barnoldswick to stop over instead of travelling home late at night. We were really pleased with Alma Cliffe Guest House and enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding through and through! Best air BNB or any BNB for that matter that I've ever stayed in! Liz's attention to detail in every regard is phenomenal and made my stay so good I didn't want to leave! A beautiful, modern yet cosy, spotless place to stay, topped off with complimentary homemade cakes everyday and the best breakfast you could wish for! So many extra little touches - Liz has thought of everything and this is now holding the bar very high for anywhere else I stay in future! I will be back and recommending to everyone I know who wants to visit the Lake District! Thanks for the best 4 days Liz! 😊👍🏼

It was brilliant to get to stay with Marianne in her family home. She was very welcoming and friendly and showed us around her home and all of the amenities. Once settled in we made the short walk into the centre of town. We were able to come and go as we pleased. Marianne provided a delightful continental breakfast which was generously sized and set us up very well for the day. We shared stories and it was great to learn about eachother. As someone new to Lancaster, she also gave us some helpful insights into the area. She was a natural host and very sweet and accommodating. Thank you 😊
