Charming cottage well renovated, with everything you need, fantastic location for walks/cycling and a short drive to other attractions, would definitely come back, the views alone make you feel lucky to be here.

Lovely cottage, location is great for visiting different areas. The hot tub was amazing and private. The bed was very comfy too. Parking right outside the property also. Would stay again

Such a lovely place to stay, so peaceful and even better in the sun ( which we luckily had). We had such a relaxing stay and the beds were like a dream. Would definitely recommend this place for a break. It was so nice to see little rabbits running around and even better to have a little friend 🐱welcoming us in😊 Would stay here again. Thank you 😊😊

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely cozy cottage in the beautiful village of Addingham. The cottage was nice and clean with welcoming goodies on arrival. Lorraine provided is us with useful information of places to visit around the location and how to access the parking space before we arrived. The hot tub is so relaxing after a nice walk. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Lorraine & Hayley.

Excellent hosts home made cake lovely welcome pack was very nice touch even put candles on the cake and decorated for my birthday very helpful with local places to visit and eat rose barn was immaculate we felt right at home don’t essitate to book it’s stunning stay thankyou again

We loved our stay at Wendy's cottage. It was beautifully clean with a lovely comfortable bed and an amazing shower! Everything you could need for a few days away. The little extra touches were really lovely too. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Our second stay at Tethera. Clean, homely, well-equipped and lovely touches lile the welcome pack. Just as lovely as the first time we stayed. We even got to feed lambs. Can't wait to come back. Sarah, Eleanor and Amber 🐾

wardhall cottages is a perfect peaceful retreat. Great fire, laid and ready to light on arrival. Huge bath beautiful countryside with easy walks to a woodland with the dogs. Near to Cockermouth for shops and cafes and close to Allonby for beautiful beach walks and sunsets.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

This is a beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s in a great location to explore Northumberland but very quiet & private. We self catered but there were plenty of places to eat out in walking distance if you want. We self catered and every piece of equipment you need is in the kitchen, including an air fryer. Our only disappointment was not getting to use the log burner as it wasn’t cold enough !!

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emma's place. The secure garden was great for our dog to roam whilst we relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day following plenty of walking around the Lakes. The cottage itself has loads of character but everything you need for your stay. We were fortunate to have the weather to make use of the gas BBQ. Emma was very welcoming and chilled with the fact we had a good run up and arrived half an hour before check-in time. Nothing was too much trouble and the fresh eggs were delicious! The cottage is just a 10 minute drive from Windermere, (20 minutes to Ambleside, 30 minutes to Grizedale forest), so whilst it's not in the throng of all us tourists, we benefited from the peace and quiet when we wanted it, but nothing was too far away. We'd also highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Staveley, just a 4 minute drive down the road. Hopefully we'll be back!

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is lovely and spacious, with plenty of room. It was clean and well presented and the views from the back over the River - absolutely stunning! It was such a quiet and relaxing place to spend a weekend. Jeremy was responsive and a pleasure to book with. The cottage is within easy walking distance of two excellent pubs and a very nice Indian restaurant. Would highly recommend!

I had a great stay at the cottage. It's very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for my stay in the area. Loved the little patio out the back, a lovely sun-trap . Anna was a very responsive host and I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

Perfect location and can walk to pubs up the old man of coniston and into coniston itself all off road perfect for families

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

Rach was a great host and the space was just what we needed. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely place to stay.

We loved our stay at The Vault! It was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. Fantastic location too being only a 10 minute walk in to the centre of town. Alex was very responsive too if I had any questions! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Hexham/the surrounding areas :)

A wonderful place for the whole family. Very welcoming and hospitable hosts who shared their beautiful land with us and our young children. We will certainly be back to stay again.

Lovely cottage on a private farm. Easy to get in, minor problem on arrival which was quickly solved even though late at night. Lovely weekend.

A beautiful cottage, exactly as described. We had such a great family getaway in beautiful surroundings. The cottage had everything we needed and was immaculate. Lovely, rural village with things to do only a short drive away. Peter and Kate were great; it really was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be back. Our little girl just LOVED it :) Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at the Wren, beautiful views, my cockerpoo Marley thought he was in heaven, having breakfast on the patio with views over the lake was bliss, lovely walks, would definitely go back next year👍👍👍
