We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

This is a great cottage. Easily accessible from major roads, yet tucked away in a quite, peaceful location with minimal passing traffic and views over farms and moorland. . The cottage is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable, with all facilities as listed. We loved the wood burning stove. Gary and Julia were friendly, accommodating hosts. Highly recommended. One word of warning, the cottage is close to the top of a very steep lane; not really walking distance to any amenities unless you are quite a robust specimen!

We were all very impressed by the house and facilities. My grandson loved the massive tv! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It was perfect for us. It felt luxurious but also felt homely.

Spent 3 days at the cottage. Perfect for the 2 of us. Really clear instructions provided beforehand on how to find the cottage as it is tucked away. The cottage was lovely, peaceful, and full of character, and the beds really comfortable. It's location is superb and central. Six pub/restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and the start of the Cumbria Way walk is around the corner. The WiFi is strong, (as I needed it for work). Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place in peaceful location. Spotlessly clean - looked like everything was new. Very comfortable furniture and bed and plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. We didn't cook but there was everything provided if we had wanted to. A totally relaxing location we would love to return to.

Fantastic location, apartment and hosts. We loved the whole place and felt really at home away from home. Highly recommended

Really lovely house, bed was comfy, kitchen had everything you needed, the outside space was nice, even in Winter as there was a covered area as well. Ulverston was a great place to visit with some nice walks and lots of cute independent shops to look round and plenty of pubs and cafes to eat and drink in, only a short walk away from the house. We really enjoyed our stay

Alan's place is ideal for a couple. so close to the shops. 10min walk to lake. comfortable bed. two settees to lounge. would definitely stay again

Stayed before and as before fantastic little place, went over for a china crisis gig at pub next door perfect location and perfect pub/gig venue, lovely host had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Peter fab couple will definitely be back so as.

We loved Red Bank. It was cozy, homely and well appointed. Location is superb and ideally placed in the centre of Windermere. We will certainly look to book again at a future trip as it makes for the ideal base for a relaxing break in the Lakes.

Absolutely loved our stay in The Architects Loft! Everything was so well thought out, great design. Fantastic area, helpful hosts and the room was immaculate. 10/10!

Simon's place was clean and tidy with a cosy, homey feel! We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Even in the cold weather, the place was warm enough on mornings and evenings. The location is fantastic, only 5 min walk to the main street and so close many attractions. We couldn't get a parking space on the street, but as Simon mentioned the surrounding streets are also available. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway in the lakes.

Great stay, check in was very easy, parking was okay, and the apartment was very cosy. It was quite cold when we arrived, but the heating was really easy to use and the place warmed up in no time! The location is very handy close to the village enter, lots of shops and restaurants. During our stay we visited the Lake Road Kitchen for the eight course taster menu, which was amazing and literally just up the road. If we decide to come back to Ambleside we will be sure to book this apartment again. Thank you

Very clean, beautiful place to stay, would stay here again in future for sure 100% recommend for anyone else looking to stay here. Place is close to north pier and very quiet even at weekends its not very noisy

Would highly recommend this stay. Check in was easy and the home is beautiful. For a 1 bedroom villa the space you have is vast with a homely living area and fantastic kitchen space and amenities. The bedroom is wonderful combining a country house with a highly modern bath and shower. Hot tub with a TV is fantastic. Walking into Bowness-on-Windermere is only 10 minutes too. Staff were around on a couple of occasions and were always chatty, welcoming and accommodating. We will be staying again. Thank you so much.

If you want a relaxing lake house with a view I couldn't think of anywhere better, myself and 5 friends had the most relaxing time. The view is stunning, the hot tub is great and the amenities in the house all work well, very modern but don't take away from rustic nature of the place. Communication with the hosts was really good from Paul and Victoria and the brochure they sent out before hand answered every question before I could even ask, highly recommend if you need a break.

Just back from renting Beechwood House for my daughters 40th. 16 of us had an amazing time, the house is well equipped with everything you could need to have a great time! Beds and bedrooms all very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful for country walks etc and centre of Moffat less than 10 mins walk away. Nick was a fantastic host, a few minor hiccups were sorted immediately 🙌 We were sorry to leave! Thanks again Nick. June, Sara and gang

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Loughrigg Cottage! The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the Lake District. The hot tub was a highlight: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
