A beautiful house, in a glorious location, overlooking a golf course. Tom and Sarah were great hosts, who responded quickly to any queries. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was great to gather and relax in. Beds were very comfortable and linen was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus and great to spend time in on a cold winter evening! Very happy to recommend to other potential visitors.

Beautiful, very clean and with everything we needed, like a home from home. Hot tub on and warm for us arriving. House was lovely and warm on arrival. Plenty of information for things to do in the surrounding area.

We could not fault our stay with Jim and Jeanette. From questions before booking and right through our stay the hosts were extremely responsive and even sent us recommendations and contact details of the local areas beforehand. Jim checked us in and went through the whole cottage with us, so friendly. The accommodation itself is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in, the hot tub was absolutely spotless, so clean. We felt right at home right away and again even extra touches for our doggo too. The most beautiful location, great if you love walking and don’t want to use the car. We cannot wait to return!!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, the place itself was beautiful and clean. It had everything you needed and more. The outside was stunning and the hot tub was well utilised in the evening. Very sad we only had one night. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Would highly recommend this stay. Check in was easy and the home is beautiful. For a 1 bedroom villa the space you have is vast with a homely living area and fantastic kitchen space and amenities. The bedroom is wonderful combining a country house with a highly modern bath and shower. Hot tub with a TV is fantastic. Walking into Bowness-on-Windermere is only 10 minutes too. Staff were around on a couple of occasions and were always chatty, welcoming and accommodating. We will be staying again. Thank you so much.

I can’t say enough about Beechwood House and Nick as a host. What a property - a real gem, beautifully maintained to modern spec. Cosy, very clean with everything you could need. The garden was stunning, we had a sunny weekend to enjoy it. Walkable to Moffat with children which was important, and plenty to do. We’ll Be back for sure. Nick was a very responsive host who left us to it but was full of intel and available if we needed anything. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Loughrigg Cottage! The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the Lake District. The hot tub was a highlight: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, with a very homely feel. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need was provided. there was 14 of us ( all adults) staying there for one week, we get together at least once a year and hire properties of this size throughout the uk, and we have all agreed that this has been the best one that we have stayed at to date. We were very lucky weather wise and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony taking in the view which is beautiful. We have two chefs in our group and they have said that the kitchen facilities are excellent. The lounge is rather tight for 14 adults, however I suspect that it was larger at some point and has been reduced in size to accommodate the bedroom next door which caters for disabled guests, the size of the lounge did not cause us any discomfort. There are plenty of of board games provided for all ages, incase the weather keeps you indoors. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this house.

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was the perfect stay ! The cabin is very spacious and cosy. It has everything you need and the bed is super comfy. The cabin is also only a short drive from Barnard Castle with Raby Castle not too far either so there is plenty to do. Julia is lovely, responds very quickly and is very helpful. We would highly recommend 🫶

Booked to celebrate friends getting engaged. Plenty room for 8 adults and a spaniel. Lovely outside space to eat and enjoy the hot tub. Plenty space in the common areas to spread out and relax. Would recommend a d would come back again.

The Lodge and its surroundings are amazing. My partner, myself and Blue our old pooch had a wonderful couple of days taking in the scenery and wildlife. The lodge had everything we could have needed during the stay. Kielder observatory / dark night sky were incredible we visited on our first night, they dark skies from the lodge are equally amazing. Really wonderful suggestions in the guest info! We used the main bedroom during our stay and found the mattress & bedframe quite uncomfortable, the wooden surround made it uncomfortable/difficult manoeuvring in and out. Unfortunately neither of us got on with the Mattress found it to be on the lumpy side, well worn and not providing adequate support, both woke up on the stiff side, slightly achy (easily soothed by a soak in the hot tub) Unsure on how much control hosts have over cleaning fees, £89.00 felt a little steep whilst guests are asked to strip beds leave towels accessible and remove rubbish to external bins. Otherwise wonderful!

A beautiful Place, perfect for our young family. Everything looking brand new and clean, A lovely big kitchen area for prepping food packed with every utensil you could ever need, Smart tv's in every bedroom ideal for the kids and even Sky tv in the Living Room, fast reliable Wifi, Hot Tub worked perfect and was very clean. Would highly Recommend and will certainly be returning! Emily was also quick to respond to any queries i had and was most helpful!

Had a lovely stay at Secret Lodge. The lodge was really comfortable, beds were amazing and there was everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing few days. Ben was in constant contact, making sure we had everything we needed. Otterburn is a great base for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. A lovely couple of days!

This was only a brief stay as a couple with pooch. We don't live far away but felt a de-stress was needed and we love this location. The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was peaceful and cosy, clean and warm, and the hot tub was a great addition with a lovely view. We'd definitely like to return for longer and really enjoy the surroundings and full benefits of a long soak in the hot tub.
