We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

We had a great weekend at Fir Garth. The house was well equipped for our group of 10: Good sized en-suite bedrooms with comfy beds and cosy duvets, a really well equipped kitchen ( we did lots of cooking), the main living was a great sized space, a projector, games, an extra snug room, outdoor space etc. The location was excellent, pub and shop within walking distance, excellent walks in the area, a beautiful view, quiet, easily accessible. We all agreed we would definitely come to the house again.

We went to Cathy’s place for a girly weekend away and her house was absolutely stunning! Was spotlessly clean & Cathy was so responsive with any questions or queries we had. The kitchen was fully equipped & we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lingmell is a perfect place to stay - perched on a quite street above bustling and workmanlike Ambleside with steep but easy access to local shops & cafes as well as nearby walks and the park. Unassuming from the front, it opens up to elevated views over the town and Loughrigg Fell opposite - you could spend all day just watching the weather and the hills. But you can't...there is so much to do: walks, waterfalls, coffee shops, Zefirelli's (for cinema & jazz), boats on Lake Windermere...everywhere is pretty close. And finally, if you have the energy, there is the pool and spa, run by the entertaining management team! And Garth is always at hand if you need anything...a big 'Thank You' from us!

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

Beautiful location, really nice amenities with lovely staff, would definitely return again. Only downside was no Guinness on tap at the accommodations bar!! Besides that no complaints and was a great overall experience.

Fantastic property, amazing facilities and very close to local amenities. David responded very quickly to any queries and was very helpful.

Had a fantastic couple of days in Hebden over new year. Property is 10 minutes walk from the town and the canal. Loads to do in town, some fantastic pubs ! Loved the duke box in the house !

The whole process was great. Check in was smooth, the lodge was wonderful , clean, spacious and so comfortable. Everything we needed. Great location. The hot tub was wonderful. Would recommend every time.

Excellent place to stay. With parking not a problem. Located right between Windermere & Bowness

We booked this house as my Son will be starting work with BAE. We could not believe how close it was to BAE. The house was spotless and on a great link to the bus to Preston, just over the road. Morrisons shop, again 3 minutes walk away. There is a Pub next door but unfortunately was going through a refurbishment so we didn’t get to try the food etc. The garden was well kept as well. The only observation I can make is, it could do with bigger bath towels which on the whole was not the end of the world to us. Over all a great little house. We were very pleased with it.

A great stay thank you and had everything we needed to keep our girls happy and not too far from the centre of town.

Possibly the nicest holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in! Very comfortable, lovely furnishings and local art, wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is excellent - wonderfully placed for walks in Upper Coquetdale or days out to Rothbury, Cragside, and Alnwick. We are already wondering how soon we can return…

We were all very impressed by the house and facilities. My grandson loved the massive tv! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It was perfect for us. It felt luxurious but also felt homely.

Great property! Beautifully decorated inside, pub and shop within a 2 minute walk, short drive to the central pier. Very clean, easy to access, parking available for 2 cars, would highly recommend and stay again!

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our trip - I grew up in the area and now live in Canada. We came back for a family reunion over New Year (my parents live very close by). Holly was super helpful and always responded very quickly to any queries. The house was very welcoming, clean, very well furnished and well equipped. Very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfortable beds! Check in instructions were very clear and well communicated. Thank you Holly for helping make our trip very special.

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

Perfect little home only a short walk away from blackpool seafront! Would recommend for a group of friends or even a family considering we only used 2 of the 3 rooms available! Would consider staying again if we happen to be back in blackpool

Myself and my colleagues stayed at David’s for 3 weeks. We loved it, it had everything that we needed for our stay, I struggle with sleeping but found the bed so comfy and slept great. The property was spotless on arrival, plenty of parking out the front. All the information was sent prior to arrival. We had no issues with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Our second stay at George’s place and certainly won’t be our last. Great host, extremely friendly and accommodating. The house is perfectly located for ease of access to Blackpool via the tram, and yet far enough away from the centre to relax on an evening, quiet morning strolls or runs on the beach to Lytham st Annes etc. can’t recommend highly enough.
