Not enough words to express how perfect this place was. Booked it for a work bonding weekend and it was the perfect setting. Great host communication, lots of condiments at hand, wellies left, beautiful outdoor bath and birds. Just heaven

Claughton Hall sits in a beautiful location; isolated and peaceful but easy enough to get out to surrounding areas. Accommodation was simply superb; well furnished with plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living/dining room with log burner and especially very, very comfortable beds! Despite the bad weather we had it was a most enjoyable stay. Sam is a great host and always on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely go back. Anne

We have just returned from a weekend break at Sunny Bank House. The trip was to celebrate our Nan's 90th Birthday and the house accommodated all 8 adults and 4 children comfortably. The house and its surroundings are beautiful, especially the river that runs alongside the property. The adults favourite room was the large living room with a real log fire and all the logs and kindling needed are provided in a log store. The children's favourite room was most certainly the small snug room, with lots of books, games and a large tv with Netflix. The large kitchen and dining table are perfect for eating in the home and every utensil and crockery needed is provided including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. Most of the bedrooms have beautiful ensuites with large walk in showers and white fluffy towels are provided in every room. We honestly had a great time on our trip and we will be returning. We cannot recommend the property more and Daphne who was an excellent host.

Dan is very hospitable and welcoming, staying in his home is like being at your own home. He was so quiet that we had no idea of ​​his movements around the house or when he left. Very clean and spacious room with private bathroom with all amenities. The location is convenient and easy to find, close to a large supermarket We easily drove to the Lake District and enjoyed a wonderful two days. Highly recommended, nice room and friendly host.

Highly recommend! Everything about this Airbnb is perfect! Jonathon was very helpful and friendly, recommending local walks and hikes. My friends and I really enjoyed the kayaking on the lake that Jonathon offered. The Location was perfect with beautiful views and being on the water front. It was the ideal place for our first time in the Lake District!! ⭐️

My kids love the Swallows and Amazons books so to be able to stay here was truly like being in a storybook. The accommodation itself was a great balance between keeping the old world charm but with a modern touch. We came in winter and it was great, we hope to be back one year in summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. The cottage was cosy with thought out decor and the surrounding views were gorgeous at the farm. Town was a 40 minute walk which was extremely peaceful and scenic. We loved every minute of our stay and was perfect for us, we would love to return. Thanks Jonathon!

A hidden gem,spacious throughout, kitchen great size and very well equipped.Separate laundry and games room available, great for after dinner entertainment ! Idyllic location, beautiful garden, short stroll to lake shore with canoes for hire from owner, we had fabulous time canoeing. Walking,biking,boating on the doorstep we didnt use the cars the whole weekend. We highly recommend this property you won't be disappointed !!!

A beautiful charming, little cottage in a stunning location. Sam's directions were spot on and he was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, the hot tub was great and the chickens, Babs and Marge were adorable. Highly recommended.

The cottage was in a beautiful location, and everything was very clean and tidy. Daphne was a great host. We loved our stay. Our only negative was that it was probably a little over priced.

Our family of 5 had an amazing time here. Easy walk to the beach (generally quiet) and had fun with the kayak. Lovely views of the sea and the sunsets from the loft bedroom. Stuart was very helpful and friendly as a host.

Had a lovely stay. Property was very clean and quiet. Location is great, just on the edge of the lakes. There are lots of different types of walks or hikes to choose from. Would definitely like to go back to Morland.

We loved our stay. The level of amenities here were of a high quality and attention to detail was evident. I really appreciated the thought that was put into the set up. Duck food and sweets for the kids & other nice touches like binoculars. It was really clean and tidy when we arrived and plenty of bin liners and dishwasher tablets to use. All the facilities were of a high standard and the beds and sitting area really comfy. We loved our stay and would like to come again.

Lovely lodge, beautiful surroundings. Our children (age 4 and 7) really enjoyed the hot tub. Going out on the boat was beautiful - request buoyancy vests in advance. House clean and comfortable. Well equipped for cooking.

Very secluded, beautiful location, had all amenities listed in the description. Only issue is the response time, as I did ring for help multiple times but get put through to voicemail over and over. However regardless this, it was the perfect stay for me and my girlfriend. Would come back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Pictures do not do this place justice, easily one of the nicest if not the nicest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. Great amenities for 4 adults and a big big hot tub! It was so peaceful being able to look out of the windows / decking and watch the wildlife too. Can’t wait to revisit, thankyou!

an incredible few nights away at The Tranquil Otter for my partners birthday. From booking to checking out, we were left fully satisfied. clean, accessible and in a lovely location with access to a private row boat to explore the lake. We booked quite last minute & from start to finish Jeff & Sue were great. They were very responsive to messages & instantly made us feel at ease. When we arrived the lodge was even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything was beautifully presented & spotlessly cleans. They even left us a little welcome basket with bread, milk, wine, cereal etc. The added bonus for us was the paddleboard & kayak. We had hours of fun on the lake with our sons. I can't recommend this place enough we will 100% be returning in the future. Thank you to Jeff & Sue for being wonderful hosts 😊

Loved my stay here. Would definitely be going back for another weekend. Wish we could stay for longer than 2 nights as it went very quick. Hot tub was amazing and peaceful at night. It is spacious for 2 people and I have really enjoyed it. Just like the pictures. There is not a lot to do near by however if you don’t mind driving to a few places I would recommend.
