I only communicated with Karen by air BNB however her onsite property manager Abdel, was an absolute professional. He was there everyday for my 16 night stay and responded instantly whenever i reached out to him. Remember this is ecuador and when i lost power he started a generator within minutes to keep the lights and A/C working till it was restored an hour or so later. Absolutely no loss of comfort. If i needed something like fresh towels or linen change it was done within minutes by the staff. I never met Karen but I will say that the staff with Abdel as the leader couldn’t have been more professional or responsive. The restaurant within 50 meters off my cabana was just as friendly and attentive. If i needed a drink or a meal it was delivered to the cabana if I wished it. The location was astounding for the price. Close to everything but just far enough away that I was never disturbed but 5 minutes from all the action. I was one minute walk from my door to the surf. Perfect stay.

Un lugar muy agradable para ir en familia o amigos, todo limpio lugar de barbacoa amplio y bien equipado al igual que la cocina, fotos a realizarse en la piscina con vista increible. Tener precaución en épocas de lluvia con animales del mar que te pueden picar ya que por el clima son arrastrados a la orilla, lo mismo en repelentes para mosquitos en la noche fuera del hospedaje por el clima. Tienda aproximadamente a 3 minutos en vehículo. Sin duda volvería a visitarlo

If you’re looking for a spot directly in town with basic amenities and a king bed, Emiliano is a wonderful and communicative host. This is a townhome style with another small suite attached to the second level, but with separate and private entrances. We had no issues with our neighbor and actually enjoyed getting to know another traveler. The location, size, and flow of the space are great. We enjoyed the two decks and the first floor hammock. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious and enjoyable. It is not modern or updated, so if you’re looking for fancy this might disappoint. Lastly, when we faced a couple of issues with the water, Emiliano was quick to respond and had locals able to come onsite and help.

Muy lindo el lugar, muy pacífico y con una gran vista al mar. Había privacidad y cada habitación contaba con aire acondicionado que fue maravilloso. Cada que me comunicaba con el encargado tenía una respuesta rápida y fue de gran ayuda. La ubicación queda súper cerca a Montañita y a otros lugares aledaños, los taxis son seguros y de la casa a montañita nos cobraban entre 2 a 5 dólares máximo, dependiendo si te iban a recoger hasta la casa. Y cabe recalcar que nos dejaron de cortesía una cerveza al recibirnos. Una linda experiencia, sin duda volvería.

The staff members at Vikara were phenomenal. My family, friends, and husband felt safe and attended by the staff at your hotel. We enjoyed yoga, surfing classes, massages, and delicious breakfasts. We had an excellent time at this hotel and would highly recommend Vikara to others.

Beautiful house with an amazing ocean view and great facilities. Communication is fast and very professional. We had a great stay! 100% recommended!

The large windows overlooking the yard were beautiful, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Even with the curtains drawn, our room remained bright during the daytime.
