Curral das Freiras : locations de vacances

Nous y avons passé 20 jours et tout a été parfait du début à la fin. Maria et son mari ont été très aidants, généreux de leurs conseils, des fruits de leur potager et même de gâteau :) Nous avons bien profité du beau terrain et du grand potager et des sublimes couchers de soleil. Tout y inspire le calme et la douceur de vivre. Que du bonheur :) L'emplacement est vraiment parfait: de trés belles plages et randonnées à peu de distance et le petit village de Arco de Calheta tout près est super joli, Nous avons eu le plaisir d'assister à une belle et sympathique fête de village! Merci pour tout :)

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas with adult family. The home is large, well equipped and very comfortable. Communication with Marisela was very easy and she was very helpful. Everything was faultless. We went to Funchal on Christmas Eve saw the lovely lights and Christmas market and sampled Poncha (warning this is lethal). Christmas Day we used the BBQ at the basement level for our meal, watched the sunset and played games (darts, table tennis and pool) - is a wonderful space for keeping everyone entertained. But in quiet times we looked at the lovely views from the balconies and read books. We found many excellent sights to see on the island including Whale and Dolphin watching from Calheta beach (highly recommend). Sadly we were all unwell (virus) during some of our stay and didn't do all of the trips we planned, so that means we will be returning ....Hopefully soon!

The most magical house, with breathtaking views of the ocean and sunset, and the sound of waves crashing as you drift asleep. The tiny village of Paul do Mar is beautiful, welcoming and very peaceful. Everything is at a walkable distance from the house ! We haven't stopped talking about our stay there, highly recommend !

Die Wohnung und die Aussicht sind deutlich schöner in echt als auf den Bildern. Sehr gemütliche Wohnung und die Hosts sind sehr sympathisch. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen der eine atemberaubende Aussicht haben will und malerische Sonnenuntergänge. Zudem war die Kommunikation freundlich und wir haben uns schnell wie daheim gefühlt. Küche ist gut ausgestattet und Badezimmer ebenfalls.

Świetne widoki oraz dużo prywatności to to co zdecydowanie wyróżnia to miejsce. Gospodarz który nie tylko odpowiada na wiadomości ale również interesuje się jak mija pobyt i czy nic nie brakuje. Polecam!

Perfect little picturesque village, one of the best in Madeira! Very easy to travel around the island if you have a car The villa is really modern, with everything you need The host is really friendly and helpful We loved the welcoming gift and the fact that you could get drinking water in the villa, so no need to buy plastic bottles The bed is comfy too, with awesome huge comforter! The terrace is amazing for breakfast outside! The only tiny drawback is probably the pool It is heated, but still only comfortable to swim in sunny weather, late evening it’s too cold + the distance from our unit to the pool was quite long (up the stairs + all the way round the house)

Fantastic apartment! Very spacious with all the amenities you need for a home away from home. Great location close to a shopping mall with a big supermarket. Lots of excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Easy to get into Funchal on the regular local buses for only 2 Euros, a stop right outside the apartment. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. Great sea views from the apartment and lovely to fall asleep to sound of the waves on the rocks. Very relaxing stay and would highly recommend this place and hope to stay again sometime in the future

Check in was easy and smooth, communication was very good from the host. We really did feel like we could lean on them if we wanted anything. Very nice and helpful. House was generally very clean and we had a great time there. Big dinner tables for family meals both inside and out and a nice little breakfast bar. Pool was well maintained and kept clean. Kitchen is pretty much stocked with everything you'd need. Only downside I would say is that the garage would've been too small for the original car we had hired, thankfully we ended up getting a hatchback rather than an SUV. The tight roads would've also been an issue for inexperienced drivers. Not a deal breaker though, the house was very nice and spacious otherwise.

I have stayed in many Airbnbs, and this has been one of my favorites. The house is spacious and very tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved going to sleep listening to the sound of the waves crashing. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted us with a platter of cheese, fresh fruit, delicious bread, and wine. An incredibly peaceful location. Would love to come again!
