Jessica's communication was awesome and she is a fantastic host overall. The apartment is very nice and the location is also great as longa s you don't mind walking-- about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Duck boardwalk. Lots of shops right nearby within a 5 minute walk too. The only caveat I'd say for the unit is it's not ideal for traveling with a toddler (which is no fault of the host nor really a negative in and of itself-- not every unit needs to be). The windows of the 2nd bedroom are south facing and we had a hard time getting it dark enough for nap time even with our own blackout curtains, and there are about 20 steps to walk up to the 2nd floor unit. The open floor plan is great, but also makes it a little hard to toddler proof. Again, not a negative, but just something to be aware for families traveling with young kids.

Mary and Larry were wonderful hosts! The apartment was extremely clean, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. (We stayed in October.) Mary and Larry struck the perfect balance as hosts - they respected our privacy but were ready to sit and talk out by the fire pit when we were feeling friendly. We had car trouble while we were with them and they were eager to help out in any way they could and gave us a ride to pick up the car when it was done. We would definitely stay with them again if we got the chance!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the Outer Banks! Jenny and Ania’s listing in Outer Banks is an affordable way to stay by the beach during peak season near Duck. There is a fantastic restaurant with scenic views across the street, and cute shops, delis, ice cream, a boardwalk and the famous Duck Donuts 1/2 a mile to a mile from the place! The rental was spacious and the perfect landing spot between trips to the nearby beach and other trips around the area. There are a lot of great amenities for an active family too - tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and two pool options. There is a brand new indoor facility with the pool, hot tub and small fitness center too! A special treat - there are deer wandering the grounds as you first come in! Jenny and Ania were very responsive and checked in to ensure things went smoothly for us. Definitely Recommend!!

Erin’s place was fantastic!! It is right on the boardwalk - so convenient to wonderful restaurants, great shops and a quaint coffee/ book shop. There are gorgeous views of the water from every room in the place! We loved sitting on the balcony watching the ducks on the sound at sunset before walking to dinner on the boardwalk. The place was spotless, comfortable and lovely. Erin was a great host and we loved our stay!

Amazing spot! Really nice space, very clean and comfortable, awesome windows/light and views of the marsh. We loved the deck space, private dock, free bikes, and proximity to everything in the village - you're literally right next to shops, lighthouse, whalehead, etc. We were here in off season so lots of businesses were closed, but we still had a blast. Zoe was responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

I am hesitant to write about how much we loved this little apartment, mainly because I would like to rent it many times over! Rachel was so kind from the beginning to answer a few questions when booking just a few days out. Back in the grind, and all I can say is off season in OBX is my new way of life. Hurricane season kept us out of the water but we still had walks to the beach, once even at sunrise, which you can also take in from bed. The deck is lovely and the beach is surely walkable, just one major road to be mindful of- Thank you for the help with an early check in, and even our scramble at the end when I needed wifi at the exact time of checkout and was able to stay for a beat and manage some time sensitive items. Great place, and great folks renting it. Would love to rent the main house as well…we were so lucky to have the property to ourselves- can’t wait to return and we’ve only been home 24 hours.

When we walked in the house smelled fresh and clean and every room was immaculate. Everything was easy to find and the patio was cozy too.

Great attention to detail, both on the finishing and fixtures of the place. Amenities provided were perfect for our 4 day-3 night get away-beach passes, chairs and bikes, coffee filters and coffee, some spices, perfect supply of dishes and meal prep utensils. Luxury towels and ironed sheet turnover, comfy beds. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Will use your place again for a partial week/small group need.

Great place to stay! If you are worried about the long term renter on the first floor there is no need to be, we never heard or saw the officer who lives on the main floor.

10/10 stay, would come back again!

Loved our recent stay at this beach house! The location is great, very close to the beach but felt private and secluded (on a quiet street). We drove to the beach with all our stuff, but could have also walked. No issues with finding parking at the beach, although we were here off-season in September. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after a day at the beach (both inside and on the large deck). We grilled, had pizza delivered and drove a short distance to Duck for dinner a few nights. Had one rainy day where we enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch listening to music and playing games. Would recommend Laurie's place to anyone who enjoys charming beach houses (no bland, new build here): full of fun decorations, a spiral staircase and lots of charming personality!

James was very responsive and quick to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The home is cute and quirky - looks just like the photos! The only thing that was confusing was that sheets and towels are not included in the listing. This was not immediately clear from the listing page. When we were told this a couple days before our trip, James was very accommodating, though, and helped us sort out the issue. All in all a very pleasant experience with a very nice front porch!

We were very happy with the spacious house and plethora of activities at the house for everyone to enjoy! Just a short walk to the beach and plenty of sightseeing in the neighboring towns!!

Andrew's home was wonderful for our crew of 6! It's located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood 30 seconds fromTimbuc II where there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking & baking. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were large enough where we didn't feel cramped even after bringing our suitcases in. The water pressure is excellent in each of the showers, which was perfect in order to ensure we could rinse off the salt and sand as needed. The hot tub was a nice bonus along with all the games in the basement. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Our family really enjoyed staying in this newly built home and neighborhood in Corolla. Easy walk to the beach! Will definitely stay again!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Salty Sunrise. Boon was an incredible host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. Very cozy condo with an excellent view in a great resort community that hosted several events for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to staying at your home again in the future. 5 stars!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Our stay was wonderful! We were steps away from the beach and were provided a wagon to haul the chairs, umbrellas and cooler to the beach. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Great location to get to the wild horse tour and many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Lynn always responded immediately with clear directions. Thank you

We spent a very cozy March weekend here. The space is inviting and well-stocked with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable (firm, not saggy). The owners were helpful, proactive and responsive. It was great to have a beach pass we could use, since none of the beaches in Duck are public - and we appreciated the local recommendations for food, etc.

Adorable beach stay in a super-clean and cute 2BR, 2BA w/ amenities. Handicap accessible, outdoor shower, and a short walk to the beach in a private location at the north end of the Outer Banks, this place welcomed my wife and I from the second we walked in because it was charming, clean, comfortable, and accommodated our two girls (Yellow Labrador and Golden Retriever). Nestled in the Corolla/Corova location, it is surrounded by beaches, wild horses, 4WD beach driving, museums, lighthouse, restaurants, shopping, and a throwback view of what it was like in the 1920s at the Whalehead Club. Quaint schools and churches speckle the inshore line. I'd return in a heartbeat.

We were very impressed with Katy’s Airbnb. It was clean and well stocked. We did a lot of cooking and she had everything we needed to make our meals. This location is very close to the beach too. I would definitely stay here again.

CrabaCabana is truly a gem in Corolla! This condo is only a few years old but feels like brand new. Pride of ownership truly shows in this lovingly maintained home. You will feel right at home as soon as you walk through the front door. The kitchen has all amenities you will ever need. The living room has a nice comfy couch for a nice relaxing night after a day of fun out and about in Corolla. The bathrooms feel luxurious. The beds will give you the best sleep you've had in months. You can't beat the location as it is close to everything Corolla has to offer. This is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. Kimberly is such a kind host! Book the CrabaCabana, you won't regret it!
