We loved how clean the whole property was. Very close walk to many fun things to do. We rented bikes, ate ice cream, mini golfed, did a horse tour and it was all within walking distance. Make sure to stop at the salty rim for a drink and great food.

This place is a gem! Marcy was super accommodating and responsive. I plan to return this summer. While a pet friendly unit and village (dog park on premises), you would never know pets are permitted as her place is pristinely clean smelling and looking. Closets outside neatly store beach cart, bikes with pump, chairs, ice machine, grill, outdoor hot shower, hose for rinsing off sandy items, etc. Currituck Lighthouse and restaurants within 5 min walk. Not too touristy, laid back, and 5 minutes to the beach with a ramp making beach cart access super easy and accessible. Beach is beautiful with sandy dunes and well kept homes along the shoreline. No hotels or bright lights. I visited with my 16 yo son. He did some Spring break surfing. Corolla Surf Shop rents boards and wetsuits by the day--awesome customer service...had a hard time finding others who do the same off season. Took wild horse tour...there are plenty to choose from...also a must do if you haven't done it before.

My husband and I spent four nights at Changing Tides in early April. The home is beautifully situated on the oceanfront , in a quiet and friendly neighborhood just minutes from the charming village of Duck, with amazing views and glorious sunrises! We saw dolphins right from the deck! Changing Tides exceeded our expectations - we can’t wait to return!

Great family beach house! We traveled with our kids over spring break (off season). Easy to keep clean (spill proof!) and a very short walk to the beach. Excellent host who is kind and super communicative. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We’ll be back! Tip for electric car owners: We were able to charge our car at Twiddy’s for free because we were staying during **off season only**. Otherwise charge up fully before getting to Corolla.

This place delivered exactly what we were hoping for. It was beautifully located right on the water, very peaceful, and close to Duck and restaurants. Plus, Michael and his folks were extremely responsive and communicated very well.

We really enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and more. John and Michelle were very responsive and friendly, but the best part was the remote feeling we had while staying there. A great place to stay if you just want to relax and walk on the beach (which was nearly deserted when we were there at the end of March). A few wild horses came right up to the house to graze. The best part was that it’s dog friendly so we could bring our two dogs who loved walks on the beach. The wraparound deck with latching gates was also convenient, so our dogs could sit outside with us without being leashed. Be sure you have an all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle, otherwise you will most likely get stuck in the sand when trying to drive the 4-mile stretch of beach to get there! Our 2008 Subaru Forrester did well. The drive to the nearest grocery store takes about 30 minutes, so stock up before arriving. Also, don’t forget to bring drinks for the Tiki bar under the house :)

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Salty Sunrise. Boon was an incredible host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. Very cozy condo with an excellent view in a great resort community that hosted several events for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to staying at your home again in the future. 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at Lorena’s beach bungalow with our daughters (6 and 9 years old). The interior is lovely. Care was given to filling the drawers with books and games. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer were large and efficient. La Bella Beach House is a short walk from the beach. Lorena has a shed stocked with all the beach essentials from chairs and umbrellas to boogie boards and sand toys. The pool was nice to have as well. Check in and communication with Lorena was a breeze. It was if we had been there many times before. All around, we had a great visit.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Anne's house was the perfect place for an extended family vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had 2 refrigerators, which was a definite plus as we had brought along tons of stuff for family dinners. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the open concept, decks to sit out and listen to the ocean, pool and hot tub which we used every day after the beach. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach, way closer than we had expected. The house was in a great location as you could walk to a few places for coffee, beer garden, etc, and also a short drive for anything you needed. The owner lives on the premises, which was convenient if you needed anything, but also felt very private as she never imposed. It was a lovely quiet location. No one in our family had ever been to the OBX, and I picked Corolla and Anne's house by chance, and was given kudos from the entire family on a great pic. We all had wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic condo was exactly as described and expected. Host communication was excellent. Full kitchen was provided with cookware, silverware, cookware, and even a wine opener. Property amenities and beach access were greatly appreciated. Very quiet and peaceful in the off-season. Direct access to bike path was greatly appreciated for walking, running, and cycling. Town is a little over 2 miles south, so you can choose a long walk or quick bike ride for morning coffee and the famous Duck Donuts. Building G fronts the main road and will help you wake up in the morning so you can look out over the sound and make the most of the beautiful days. We look forward to staying on this property again or any other property with the excellent host!

Sei was by far the best host I’ve ever worked with on an Air B&B. The whole trip was seamless and Sei was always responsive and helpful, not to mention friendly. The property itself was in a great location, and everything was exactly as pictured from the listing. We noticed that there were people who came to clean the pool throughout our stay at no additional charge, and everything was pristine when we arrived. We were also able to work with Sei to obtain an early check in and the accommodations could not have been more flexible / hospitable. This was definitely a great experience and booking find, and I will be looking at returning to the same property because of how positive my experience was. 11/10 recommend this property listing and Sei if you have even the slightest interest!

We had such a great stay at Brad's place! it was honestly the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in and the location couldn't be beat. The home had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. We loved the hot tub and spending time on the front deck watching the ocean.

Great place to stay with my family! It can be difficult to find a place that has enough bathrooms and living space but this was perfect. Definitely recommend it.

From start to finish Richard was so kind and thoughtful. When the previous guests had to leave really early, he let us know we could check in early and he also inquired about what beverage we’d like waiting there for us after the long drive. We arrived to find, not just a bottle of wine, but also a meat/cheese/cracker tray and green seedless grapes. We really enjoyed them in the evening when we just wanted a little something to snack on. Richard really thought of everything; flashlights for night walks, walkie talkies, a Bluetooth speaker and anything you’d need for the beach. Two outside showers are there to take a complete shower or just spray off. The bathroom is also nice and big with plenty of linens; there’s even a bidet! (life-changing) Also, string lights on the deck made the outdoor space so beautiful at night. The walk to the beach was very short and the beach wasn’t overly crowded. Hands down, Richard’s place is our favorite Airbnb so far. We hope to be back next year!

We loved staying at this studio apartment and the entire area for that matter. the host couple was absolutely wonderful, Paul & Kim - can't say enough there. Many levels of thoughtfulness went into making this a great stay - a combination of big things like the bicycles, the beach chairs & umbrella, as well as everything you could want in a vacation kitchen. And as a self-styled beach connoisseur we thought the nearby very beach was top-notch.

Came for a vacation with our blended family with 5 teenaged boys and one adult daughter. Lots of fun things to do. The house had great space and was well laid out with plenty of room and activities for all. Kitchen was extremely well appointed with everything we needed to cook for 8. We will very likely return!

Beautiful home and even better views. We saw wild horses on several occasions and even dolphins! Bobby sent an informative and helpful guide before we arrived with easy to follow instructions on how to find and enter the home, local restaurant recommendations and where to rent 4x4 vehicles. He was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was up to par. We can’t wait to go back!

The stay felt at home! The host was very communicative and was very attentive during our stay. Will definitely be back! Family had a great time during the holidays!
