This place was perfect for my bday trip. Truly quiet and private. Almost too quiet lol. The house was very spaciuos and had everything we needed. Beach access was the easiest we have had so far. We explored the rougue river alot as it seemed to alwasy be hide tide during the day. Would definelty be back. Only wish we had was a ocean view from both bedrooms and would be a steal if it accommodated all 4 of our dogs. Thank you Clare for the stay in this perfect house.

We really enjoyed our time there. Nicely supplied. Nice place with accurate description. Our little dog enjoyed having a fenced in yard where we didn’t have to worry about her.

Michele is a gem to work with, so satisfied with the level of service she provides. We had asked for a few special kitchen utensils and they were delivered promptly. We communicated a few times during our six week stay, Michele was always so pleasant. In fact so easy to work with we booked another property of hers for next year. Well worth the stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was even nicer than the photos. The area was quiet. The beach was a short walk away. The ocean view from the house was beautiful. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location, private, beautiful land, walk to the beach!

We had a spur of the moment decision to spend thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful location, mind you it’s an rv park with mini houses. It is right on the Rouge River and steps away from the coast line we stayed in #36 and it was perfect you could see the beach from the tiny house. The kitchen supplies are rudimentary but enough to make a meal. It was a bit cold but other than that it was a great little place to stay! The surrounding sites are amazing, Myrtle Wood Trail is a must, Oregon Redwoods is a must! The surrounding towns are great too! The grocery shopping in Gold Beach was great. We loved it. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you!!!!

Wonderful lodging experience. Michelle over delivered on our expectations. Great bedrooms each with bath, great views, great parking, great beach access. Loved it! But Michelle’s efforts really win our gold star. When we asked about early check in, Michelle sent extra housekeeping to get the home ready for an early arrival. Another ‘extra mile’. A note to other AirBnB travelers; Michelle’s housekeepers work very hard, as do many other housekeepers in the AirBnB program. When possible, please let them know you appreciate their efforts to make us all comfortable. They are important people in our vacation orbit, and we need to let them know that.

The view is unmatched! We had plans to travel the coast each day for sunset but found ourselves just wanting to soak up every sunset we could get from the house! The fire pit and bbq grill made for the perfect sunset vibes! The house was stocked with everything we needed and more! Hosts were very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

We stayed at Alexander’s place while we were getting married along with our small wedding party. We received a prompt response to questions before we arrived and he was proactive on potential problems which did not become problems at all. The home is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would choose this home in the future to stay in Brookings with a group of family and friends. Our next stay we would love to have the time to use the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful backyard.

This is the second time we have stayed at Cindy's and we will definitely come back again. We have family in the area and visit each year - so we were familiar to Cindy and she made us feel that way!! She left a HUGE pile of delicious cookies on the counter and was incredibly proactive about making sure we would get in easily and be comfortable despite our arrival time late in the evening. The house is incredibly clean and comfortable with a ton of space. Looking forward to our next visit in the fall of 2025!!

Beautiful home with spectacular river and ocean views. Gated and private on two lush acres (with a little waterfall!), but close to town. We saw deer, seals, and so many birds. Loved the details - pleasantly surprising amenities, ready for cooking, clean in every corner, and comfortable beds and furniture. Mark is a great host! We’ll be back.

Wonderful, family friendly. Hot tub big plus on the colder days to relax in at night. Conveniently located. Master bed was very comfortable! Kids loved the close walk to the beach

The air bnb was very clean and spacious with a BEAUTIFUL view! Several great restaurants we ate at in Brookings less than ten minutes away. The beds were very comfortable and the wine was very nice!

We love this lakehouse. It's a prime location for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding or swimming. Kids loved fishing off the dock and caught lots of fish. House works well for multiple families staying together and host/ local caretaker were super flexible with us. Be aware the 3 rentals on this property all share the dock and lakefront space. Not a problem for us, everyone is quiet and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pelican. It was fabulous to have the ocean views and being able to walk down to the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of space for us to relax. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were three bedrooms; the master was large with its own bathroom and a king size bed, one room with two double size beds and the other room with a queen. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We appreciated being able to park in the garage. We watched movies on the large screen TVs. Hikes in the nearby Redwood state and national parks were closeby. The nearby towns had the groceries and restaurants we needed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area.

The location of the house is amazing, as is the lake. We saw all kinds of wildlife and enjoyed being able to kayak from the house to the beach and then walk to the ocean. Joseph was quick to respond to any questions and made sure we were well taken care of. I can't express enough how gorgeous this entire area is. The house was amazing and had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

My only complaint was the weather but it’s the Oregon coast so it’s always a gamble ;) but that said I think this was by far my favorite Oregon coast trip the family and I have taken. The house and all its amenities and the location was absolutely amazing! Clare was so helpful too. A week wasn’t long enough to be honest. Don’t think twice about renting!!

The views were absolutely spectacular! We loved every minute of being in this beautiful home as are eyes were always drawn to the see. We didn’t feel pressure to find things to do as the beach is accessible after a short walk and we loved exploring the tide pools. Wonderful place to spend a week and we hope to again soon.

Shirley's unit is beautiful and perched directly above a river running into the ocean. the view from the hot tub is great. Space was perfect for two families with shared kids room. Worth noting there is a rocky drop off to the river below and out back door so need to have attention with younger kids. if you walk down the street a couple minutes there is a path to beach access. love this stretch of coast and we had everything we needed. thanks Shirley for finding a pack and play for us to use!

Perfect house on the beach. Everything was as pictured and very clean upon our arrival. Would stay again.

From start to finish the hosts were friendly and clear with check in and check out instructions. The home is beautiful and well appointed. We were on the coast for my mother‘s memorial and celebration of life and my immediate family and their spouses stayed and all were happy with their rooms. We were warned about the odd neighbors who have a camera that speaks out loud every time you go by it and says “you are being recorded”. Short of being odd they were benign we had no problems. Brookings is a beautiful destination. We were blessed with sunshine and clear skies and the view from the house is beyond and amazing!!
