Beautiful, peaceful location. The view was astonishing and the home itself was amazing, clean and stylishly decorated. The drive there followed a beautiful scenic dirt road and instructions to get there were very thoroughly communicated. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The area also offers lots to do and lots to see. We would recommend this place to anyone in future.

I had the most incredible stay at Mission House in Howick! The decor and design are absolutely stunning, creating a warm and stylish atmosphere. The space is spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. Every moment here was a pleasure, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway!

Picturesque is the best way to describe the cottage and the view. The pictures are beautiful but don’t do it justice. Beautifully furnished, amazing view of the dam. Very private, good security, great housekeeping. Definitely worth a second visit.

Great place, beautiful surroundings, lots to do in the area with great restaurants. We loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings on the farm and off course the two labradors that came to say hallo every day!! The cottage is perfectly equipped with everything you need, even eggs and milk in the fridge! I would highly recommend the place and will go back whenever we get the opportunity.

We had a wonderful weekend, loved it all from the sweet little dogs to the outside shower. It was an excellent home away from home.

Beautiful stay at Pennygrove , the home is spacious, homely , warm and inviting! Looked just like the photos ! We had daily visits from the Nguni cows , had a wonderful visit from a fish eagle over looking the dam and definitely felt well rested after checking out . Lots of fun activities and restaurants within the area . If you looking for a peaceful getaway from city life I can highly recommend the home . Carla was very welcoming and always willing to assist when we had questions!

I absolutely loved this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Sian is an incredible host. She is warm, thoughtful, and genuinely friendly. Every detail of the space was carefully curated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I adored everything about my stay, from the charming decor to the peaceful ambiance. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The perfect place for my wife and i to have a restful night away!

So thrilled we had a chance to stay here - such a beautiful place, so quiet, with the most wonderful view of the woods, a river, and lake in the distance. Pauline is a fabulous host - her communication was excellent and although the cabin is really off the beaten path, her directions were perfect. She couldn't have been more helpful and we spent a blissful weekend there. No wonder it's hard to book here and it's a super popular place to hire. Long to return.
