We had a wonderful short stay of 2 nights. Very clean, lots of space. Peaceful surroundings. Had everygthing we needed. This is a great location for a beach holiday. We are a couple, but this house has 3 good sized bedrooms, great for a family or group of friends. Thanks Margo. 😊

We had a wonderful holiday. The house is the same as it was when we stayed there 40 years ago. Super position in fabulous Penneshaw. Not upmarket but very lay back and relaxing. A true beachside cottage.

Petlet were wonderful. I received messages and phone calls just to see if we arrived safely and checked in okay. The house was right in the middle of Victor Harbor, so close to everything we walked every where. Opening the curtains and seeing the beach every morning was just beautiful to wake up to. It was also great to have our furbaby with us, the yards were closed in nicely, he could come and go as he pleased and we didn't have to worry. Thank you Petlet, highly recommended, we will definitely book again 🥰

This place was even better than the photos, super clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Loved the little touches like fresh coffee and local recommendations, it really made the stay special.

Lots of the previous reviews speak about the very pleasant accomodation and the outstanding cliff-top views - which we fully endorse too. It's just great! What we'd like to add (it was important for us) is the tranquility of the place, with nothing to disturb the absolute sense of peace, quiet and privacy - other than the local birdlife! Fabulous, basic retro beach house across the road from spectacular beach! Great options to eat both within walking distance or just a few minutes drive. Handy place to explore McLaren Vale wineries.

Great location, great host and, great villa. Villa was easy to find and great communication from host made the stay perfect.

What an incredible getaway at Gabi and Jim’s accommodation! This place was worth every single penny and my group had the most wonderful stay. It felt luxurious from the first moment we pulled up to the property. The photos do not do this location justice. The house was spacious, it had every single possible amenity we could need, the kitchen was big, the bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was fabulous to relax in. The pool was a winner though, heated, an incredible view at sunset, watching kangaroos hop by. We really couldn’t have stayed at a better place, it was such a lovely treat. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend, it won’t be forgotten and I would absolutely stay again.

The penthouse apartment was spacious and in a great location. Parking, lift access and the amenities were all excellent. The main bedroom is huge and would benefit from a queen size bed for comfort given the room is so large. The huge lounge allowed us to spread out as a family and the kitchen was well equipped with lots of crockery for a family staying. We were only staying for a couple of days but if we were staying longer we'd have appreciated WIFI for our stay. The games, puzzles and DVDs kept us entertained. The location is amazing.

Perfect stay for the family! Villa was so nice and extremely clean, village in which it’s located was great for the kids. We all had a great time, would definitely stay here again!

If you need to rediscover the best in life... this home is the perfect location to do so. A beautiful place within a beautiful place. Our host was very friendly and responded to all our inquiries promptly. Clear and easy instructions....and the property was even better than expected. A calm and welcoming energy, gloriously peaceful spot to share a few days with family and friends. The kitchen is a foodies dream..everything we needed and more. The pool area is great...rooms beautifully appointed..luxurious linen...spotlessly clean with subtle and intoxicating scents throughout. We appreciated the different spaces filled with books, games, TV's and art. The balcony views are tranquil and so very relaxing. We would definitely love to return and would recommend this property to anyone.

We loved our stay here, the communal areas on site are amazing and perfect for kids. The place was clean and the beds were very comfy!

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

We are incredibly happy with the terrace we had. Beautifully decorated with views throughout. Rachel was a super friendly host. This stay was everything we hoped for and more :):):)

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

The absolutely perfect hideaway, exactly as Hugh, the owner, describes. The house is beautifully presented with everything top quality, but also a lot of personal touches, such as ornaments and books. A great bonus was the sheer number of bird species visiting the water dishes - we identified 21 with the help of an excellent guide book which goes with the house. Good shops and decent pub/restaurant in nearby Penneshaw.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sol Hus. It was a beautiful location with an amazing view of the ocean. It felt very peaceful and we enjoyed having access to a private beach. The tiny home was very clean. I would note that there was some ants and earwigs present during our stay and the driveway is shared with another tiny home. Unfortunately during our stay it was very windy which made sitting outside difficult. Also the loft would not be suited to someone who doesn’t like confined spaces. Overall would highly recommend!

Daniel's place is a secluded gem. the quintessential Aussie beach house. The location is perfect, nestled in to the dunes just steps from the beach. The house is great. Well appointed and very comfortable. Daniel was a pleasure to deal with, am excellent host

I wish we could have stayed at Richard’s house forever! The view was absolutely astonishing!! Ocean everywhere you looked. It felt like we were on our own private island. We enjoyed seeing the little penguins every night. We ordered food and brought home every night so we could sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Beds and linens were super comfortable. Very clean and spacious house. We watched movies on the giant TV. Richard was very easy to communicate with! Highly recommend this house if you’re coming to Emu Bay!!
