JaymeLee was a great host with tons of good recommendations! The house was super cute and very close to all activities we had planned. My kids loved the little reading nook. Only thing to note is that neither bedroom has full privacy - there’s an accordion curtain between the two bedrooms and the bunk bedroom opens straight into the dining area with no closure whatsoever.

I loved it! It was beautiful and very peaceful! Would definitely recommend it!

We love staying here for our annual women’s retreat for church. We even saw a bald eagle this last time!

The decor was awesome! We had a great time relaxing and getting to meet our first grandchild! Sabrina was very responsive! The house felt like a home, the view was amazing of the mountain and river! Would not mind going again in the warmer weather! Overall our stay was a 10 out of 10! Just be careful driving to the home as there is an abundance of wildlife and a massive dog that likes to run out after cars! lol

What a lovely place! Look forward to returning in the future. Kitchen was very well equipped as was the rest of the house. Can't say enough about the attention to detail put into this beautiful place.

Comfy, cozy, beautiful location! Kelly's place was perfect for us. It was clean, the beds and other furniture were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with good pots, pans and baking pans too. The deck overlooking the Tennesee River was our favorite spot. We enjoyed watching boats, barges and birds. We saw eagles, turkeys, blue birds and vultures and also many cardinals, sparrows and woodpeckers too. The views were amazing whether inside our outside. Kelly was responsive and informative and we never had any issues. Thanks to Kelly for a good vacation!

Very clean and well kept. Communication was top notch. Fully stocked kitchen was a mega plus. Personally idk if the price matches what you get. Yes a lot of accommodations but idk how useable some of them world be. Overall I was happy but it's wouldn't consider this a vacation destination but a solid hub to fun in the area.

Amazingly relaxing location set right on the river, with the dam sounding like your own personal waterfall. Very private and safe location. Opted out of my first nights plans to enjoy the peace from the balcony. Will stay here again!

Beautiful place with access to the river. All the amenities of home, but really felt like a perfect getaway. It’s tucked back in the woods so you won’t be bothered by a lot of traffic. If you’re looking to fish the river or just looking for a peaceful place then this is it! Thank you guys!

The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas getaway!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. The location is secluded but still close enough to get to stores if you forget something and there is a lot of amazing hiking within a short drive of the cabin. Misti was an amazing host and super proactive in communications and everything was very clear. I would highly recommend! And they decorated for Christmas (even with a tree) so we felt right at home!

My husband and I came here for our 7 year anniversary. It was lovely and peaceful. I love the imperfections of the old cottage and its cleanliness. The hot tub, kayaks, and views are lovely The kitchen was adequately stocked and beds were clean and comfy. Shower was large and hot and the washer and dryer were very helpful! The house was stocked with everything needed. We will definitely be back. The town of Mentone was just down the road and we loved the areas. There was even a gas station at the end of the street that was very convenient as well! No regrets! Just a lovely vibe and great getaway destination!

Really enjoyed our stay at Lazy River Cottage! Home was clean and orderly and exactly as described with plenty of room for our party of 5. We don't eat out much and prefer to cook our meals at the home so the full kitchen was much appreciated. Making use of the kayaks was a ton of fun. DeSoto Falls hiking trails and picnic area were easily accessible by a very short walk. This was a great home base to explore Mentone and Little River Canyon. 100% would book it again. Thanks so much for a great stay!

This home was so inviting, it was clear that Bailey and David put a lot of thought and creativity energy into the design. The spacious feeling combined with the minimal design left me feeling so much space to just be inspired creatively which is exactly what I was looking for. I brought along my husband and 3 young kids who all loved the space as well. The perfect family getaway cabin!

We had our annual college friend reunion here this year, and I think we’ll be coming back here every year. This place was perfect. It had enough space for everyone without being crammed. Everything worked great, easy to get to. This was the perfect place for us. Cannot recommend Laura and this place enough. We will 1000% be coming back!

We were only staying for a weekend and we checked in on Friday evening. We were able to enjoy a firepit by the river and make S'mores. We were a large group of nine, and accommodations were great! Plenty of room!. The teenagers enjoyed the foosball table. Saturday it rained hard all day and evening so we explored Chattanooga . We didn't get to really use the river since it rained (and there were tornado watchs and warnings all evening) but we still had a great time!

Lots of space for our family get together. Prime location to get to area attractions (Mentone, hiking, swimming spots). Well equipped kitchens in both cabins. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We particularly enjoyed the screened porches. There were kids games and puzzles for inside fun as well as paddle boards and floats for water fun.

We had a great stay. And our host was great at communicating with us. Thanks for a wonderful time.

We really loved Angela's cabin. It is very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking in DeSoto and exploring the boulders around the house. Location is convenient to Mentone and Fort Payne.

This place fit our needs perfectly our grandsons loved kayaking up and down the water also caught a couple fish Rachel the host was very responsive , helpful and friendly will definitely recommend to friends and would love to come again
