The place is located in, lets say, a village 25kms from somwarpet which is the closest town. So if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this may not be it. Bt the location is amazing, surrounded my mountains. The homestay was very comfortable. Extremely neat and clean. The host / caretaker, was extremely helpful. Always available for any queries or help. They served us with very homely / delicious food.

Mr. Thoufiq was the host, the rooms were super clean and welcomed us with a refreshing smell. He was also generous enough to accommodate an extra guest. The host also helped us in arranging local tours and sightseeing.

My stay at "The Nest," hosted by Shobha, was absolutely delightful. The house was impeccably clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The lovely garden and peaceful surroundings added to the charm, creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The place is very clean and well maintained. Everyone in the family from 21 year old to 85 year old liked the place.

Great getaway at madikeri! Peaceful and residential area. The home is clean, without any clutter and has all the necessary amenities . We travelled with a 2 year old and I must say she loved it and we had everything we needed.

Harini's house made us feel like home! It was our first time visiting India and we took this trip to participate in our friends wedding. Her place made our trip even more special, giving us a peaceful place for resting, lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to the places we had to go. Harini herself is an amazing person, super helpful, and absolutely lovely. We had a real great time at her place and when we get back to India, we will make sure to stay at her house. Absolutely loved this pristine stay between the forest. The manager, Naveen, was extremely helpful since the very beginning of our trip and till the very end. The food was delicious and the location seemed perfect for a relaxing weekend stay-cation. Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking to chill away from bustling city crowds!

The place is really nice little difficult to reach Ambur it’s worth the driving. Clear communication and help from the host makes the stay as breeze.

This place was a hidden gem. Location was absolutely perfect. It was across the beach which was clean unexplored and just a wide stretch of white sand ! The house was also sufficient, perfect for a large group. The pool was a good size, and added to the house. Ashok got us our supplies and made great homemade food. Also the restaurant Kaai at Nilaya stays had some great food. Only regret is we got to know about surfing lessons the night before we left ! So if you stay here please check at the reception at Nilaya stays and they will hook you up. We were on a week long road trip from Bangalore with 5 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved this place and location the best !

Very well maintained property within city limits and amid lush greenery. If you are visiting Mangalore, I would recommend this place for accommodation.

Lovely location for the beach house, host made sure we had everything we needed and allowed a flexible checkin and checkout option. Bathrooms and kitchen could have been bigger but we managed alright with all facilities as advertised.

So the stay was very homely, the food was awesome, whatever was asked to cook, was cooked by the cook. it's kind of home away from home, cleanliness is 10 on 10, Satish was very helpful. he was constantly checking if we reached safely and if we faced any issue during the stay. I wish I could share some pics, but I don't have much. this please is strongly recommended.

This is a gem of a place! If you like accommodation with real character, you will love it. It’s an old building, within a working farm, with a view of palms to the front. The best things: the wood-fired hot water in the bathroom every morning, the peace & quiet, the tasty food, a campfire under the stars. We loved having the place to ourselves, and Ronny giving us a tour of the farm was a highlight. This is how Air BnB should be - room for only one set of guests, staying alongside the host and seeing how they live. A learning experience. Too many Air BnBs in India are resorts. You book what you think is a single property and turn up to discover there are twelve more cabins alongside it. That is NOT true of this place. It is exactly as described. A one-off. Magical!
