The second visit to this place was also fantastic. It continues to be a peaceful and warm environment, making it the perfect destination for families. This time Shabbir, the caretaker, played a crucial role in ensuring that our journey was wonderful. He takes excellent care of both the property and the guests.

The place is cozy and well-maintained, making it a great option for a stay with friends or family. Though the food options were limited, everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was respectful and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with heaters, hot water, and electric bed warmers, which made the stay comfortable. However, there were frequent power cuts that occasionally affected access to hot water. Also, keep in mind that the property is located about 30 minutes outside of Srinagar, not within the city itself.

We were a party of 12 returning from a trek and Khalid's place was the best choice for all of us. We felt right at home throughout the stay. Khalid had called me right after booking the property and informed about dinner and breakfast availability. I am glad he called because after an exhausting week, we were treated with great food and beautiful property. Our friends have bookmarked this property to share with their friends. I am grateful to Khalid's staff to have made us feel at home.

We felt right at home. It has been a very cosy and comfortable stay. The staff were very compliant, responsive and polite. It’s in a peaceful and prime location. The rooms and bathrooms were done before we arrived every evening and the food was exquisite, served warm and with genuine love. Very authentic Kashmiri dishes and also home like. But the main charm of the house was Mr. Wazir himself. Loved getting to know him and he is an amazing human benign with lots of stories to share. We will never forget our stay there and Mr. Wazir. Thank you for everything. I hope we return someday.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Basharat’s place. The flat (2 BHK) was exactly as described—clean, cozy, equipped with everything. Rooms were stocked with heaters and bed were comfortable with electrical blankets. We didn't feel cold in room. Two bathrooms equipped with water heaters. Kitchen didn't had induction/gas stove, but we didn't needed. There was an electric kettle. Bablu (helper) was polite, always there to make snacks/tea anytime. We had breakfast only everyday which was good. Mr Basharat was an outstanding host. He was friendly, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best experience and memories in Kashmir, also ensured we feel like home there. He and his wife recommend kashmiri foods and shops which we tasted and enjoyed. Location was peaceful. 10 km from airport, 1 km to some restaurants and small shop and park nearby. I'd recommend staying at this place and would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. This bnb is so spacious. you get the entire 2 bhk to yourself and it is huge. rooms are clean, spacious, hot water was available, there are places to eat nearby at walking distance, loved my stay here !!!

Very nice property and gud food like home.

Walisons homestay is a delight to stay. Exactly as seen in the photos. Very well maintained. The staff are very courteous and always helpful. The property Manager Mr Mushtaq is absolutely fantastic. Ever willing to help, no matter what the time. And so are all the staff members. Very smooth, no hassles check in, check out process. Rooms were very well appointed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which also came with 2 bathrooms - so very convenient for the morning rush! Geysers are large size - so no shortage of hot water. All the rooms have a/c cum heater. Kitched had all the appliances like fridge, washing machine, microwave and all of them were well maintained and made the stay comfortable. The WiFi works great. TV has Netflix. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back for sure. Highly recommended 👌
