A very clean, cosy, and charming cottage—actually even more delightful in person than the photos suggest. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it a perfect getaway. Janice was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Excellent experience! Also the welcoming packet of biscuits worked miracles for getting the children in a very positive mood! Highly recommended.

The cottage was wonderful! Within walking of many fantastic places to eat, shopping, etc.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Laal Cwtch and it didn’t disappoint. Fleur and John always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome with a friendly message and treats! The home is very comfortable and warm and we love staying here. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend and we hope to see you again soon.

We loved our stay - this is an excellent dog friendly option for those having a short break in The Lakes . The dog treats/blanket and flapjack/chocolate we received on arrival were a lovely touch. The car parking space reserved for the accommodation was a great addition as well. The location is great - between Windermere and Bowness towns - which are walkable or a few minutes in the car. Steve and Vicky were easy to communicate with and ensured all went well during the stay. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous stay here at Alison’s cottage. It was a gorgeous cottage which was spotlessly clean throughout and in a fantastic location. Check in was seamless with a lockbox located just outside the front door, parking was a bonus too and easy to find at the rear of the property. You are within a short walk to restaurants, bars and pubs and about a 10 minute walk (if that) to the marina and lake. Alison was great at responding to any questions and gave us lots of food recommendations. We had such an amazing time here. Our only regret is not booking for a longer period of time as it was honestly so gorgeous! There was also Prosecco and milk left in the fridge and after dinner mints left on the table- such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for having us.

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

This is a really special place. Peaceful and surrounded by the most amazing scenery and beautiful and very very old homes and barns. Stunning walks at every turn. Down into the valley. Up onto the fells. Close to Windermere and Ambleside but far enough away to feel like you are in another world. The apartment itself is beautiful. We had everything we needed.

Alan's place is ideal for a couple. so close to the shops. 10min walk to lake. comfortable bed. two settees to lounge. would definitely stay again

Thanks Gary for a very comfortable couple of days and thank you for your very quick response and being able to accommodate us at short notice, it was very much appreciated. The apartment was lovely and nice to relax in after a full day’s trekking.

We had a great stay at Windermere, the flat was spotless and Siobhan was very helpful and responsive to any message. Check in was smooth and the instructions we got to find the flat were excellent! The only thing I would say is the ceilings can be low in places, so for me (5’ 11”) I did find on a few occasions banging my head on the beams, however the cottage was fantastic otherwise, had all the amenities we needed, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and a lovely care package in the fridge for when we arrived.

We had the most amazing time. The apartment was fantastic, well equipped. The pool was lovely and a massive hit with my 8 year old. We had lovely meals at the on site restaurant and the staff were lovely. The grounds of whitbarrow are honestly lovely. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Great location for activities, we visited Rookin Activity Centre and did horse riding and quad biking, which was great. We will be back

My friend and I loved our stay at racheals place! The view from vale view was second to none and not a far drive from some lovely walks and the shops!

A small but perfectly formed apartment. The steps up to the third floor are so worth it when you see the view from the balcony. Open the doors and sit with the sun on your face. Really comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a TV with Netflix! You are only a short stroll from the shops and restaurants and of course the lake. A big advantage is the parking space we parked up on arrival then used the bus and ferries for the rest of our stay. Loads of fabulous walks nearby I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The apartment building was within walking distance to restaurants and shops (5-6 mins ). Nearest grocery is Tesco. The space was clean , comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen. The balcony offers a good view of the lake. It’s a peaceful area. You can hear the birds chirping in early morning. We really enjoyed our stay and defo will book again next visit . Thank you ☺️

We've had a lovely stay, this was our second time at the property. Communication was excellent and we felt very much welcomed. The added bathrobes were a nice touch, very useful for the hot tub. We went for dinner at Casa Mia and Bruno's, short trip in the car, would recommend both. Overall a great stay, we're looking forward to returning in the future.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Me and my patenter loved our stay at little 20- we felt right at home! Very comfortable bed which was good after lots of walking, close to bars and restaurants in Windermere! We also used the free access to the spa and gym which was great whilst it rained- would definitely recommend a stay at little 20 :) thankyou Linda & Mike !

Beautifully presented flat and spotlessly clean. All mod cons and everything was in great working order. Great location for walking into Bowness or Windermere centre. Excellent parking too. We found it a little hard to find entry as the main entrance door is to the right of the main door facing you as you enter the parking area (Clare replied very quickly to messages about this). Would be happy to stay again.

Lovely, well equipped top floor apartment. Great location to access all that Keswick and the surrounding area has to offer. Graham and his family were the perfect hosts.

We had such a great stay at Beck View. The views from the apartment are stunning. Apartment is really well presented and has everything you could need. Plenty on your doorstep including Whinlatter Forest which is a 20 minute walk from the apartment and great for dogs, lovely cafe there too! Keswick a short drive away. Kim is very dog friendly, even a hose to wash muddy paws. Will definitely be returning in the future.
