This was my first time using Airbnb. I’m always a little apprehensive visiting new places especially with children but the house and location was more than i could have hoped for. It’s a perfect family holiday location. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture and bedding and very spacious for a family of 4 and 3 small dogs. The baby gate downstairs was a great addition with 3 nosey dogs. The location is fantastic and although you can’t park directly outside the carpark is literally a 30 second walk and the area feels incredibly safe. The ice cream parlour on the corner serves the best ice cream with lovely views. Both the Chinese, pizza place and co op are all a very short walk away. Kids loved the park and beach and we had a great time exploring the rock pools. The children enjoyed it so much they have asked if we can stay for a week next time 😊

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was even better than described—so cosy and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was just amazing, with a beautiful view that made it extra special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Annabelle’s place was idyllic and so peaceful with all the birds in the surrounding trees. Plenty of the garden to roam and a good handful of chickens roaming freely that like to pop into the garden now and then. The place was spotless and had everything that you would possibly need. I would highly recommend coming here! Set about 10 minutes away from a little village where you can buy everything that you need! Exactly what we needed and wanted! Thank you

Amazing home 🌸 we had a 1 night stop over while travelling to Scotland for our daughter’s wedding. Everything was as described and more…the only thing I would say is the house is much bigger than it looks in photos, it’s fabulous 🌸

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Great place to stay, has everything you need was clean & tidy, lovely sitting outside in the evenings with the fire pit, 5mins from Amberside town witch has everything you need, lovely walks round the area, would recommend highly.

Lovely caravan, with access to the beach and abundance of walks around. Kitchen had all the utensils you could need for a family. Laura was very responsive and provided clear instructions to find the caravan. We couldn't try out the amenities as we had plans to hike but there is a playground and a football and basketball courts. Gym and pool in a separate building.

We were hoping the lodge would have a cosy, Christmas feel and we were not disappointed. There were twinkle lights outside and a tall Christmas tree inside. The lodge itself was really nice, larger than we expected. All the rooms were a good size and it was clean and modern. Having the WIFI was brilliant as my son depends on it! The lodge was only a short walk from the main facilities, which was good as we were unlucky with the weather during our stay. The lodge had everything we needed, and drinks were available in the form of tea, coffee, juice and milk. We would love to return in the summer so we could take advantage of the large, secure decking area. We were all really happy with our stay and quite sad to leave this cosy, lovely lodge.

Beautiful little cabin surrounded by stunning scenery, with many great places to visit within a short driving distance. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Andy provided lots of useful information and tips regarding the local area. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Alun was very helpful and friendly throughout the process. The cottage is in a wonderful location with lots of walks of differing difficulties - something for everyone. The cottage itself is very well appointed and comfortable. The beds and bedding are of very good quality, as are the household appliances. The wood-burning stove is a great addition on a cold winter's night. We would recommend this cottage unreservedly.

We had a lovely stay at Dizzy Ducks Lodge, it had everything we needed and was in a lovely location. Ross’s (the host) communication was great - even calling us on the morning of our stay to let us know we could get into the lodge a little early and that there were some problems with traffic. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely stay for one night on our way home from Scotland - was perfect for us. Very clean and cosy .. Jenny & Bracken are lovely! Wonderful meal at The Pheasants Inn … on the doorstep! Would def stay again!

One of the best air b and bs I have stayed at. Excellent central location. Very clean. Modern. So many plug sockets. A kitchen set up for cooking (fridge a little small). A wine fridge! A washing machine. Plenty of heating. Tasteful decor. Lovely touches such as local prints, map in the entrance, books, games. All the products were high end. TVs in every room (not that we used them). Plenty of heating for the cold months. Radiators helped to dry everything out between hikes. So many great shops and restaurants a few meters from the property. 1 reserved parking spot. Then on street parking between 6pm-10am (not a problem in the off season). Can use parking disc provided by local stores for an extra free hour as needed. Everything was really high quality and there were supplies in reach for if things ran low. Alexa. Salt, pepper, oil, foil, Tupperware. Honestly 10/10. The only thing was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash - not an issue, but useful to know so can bring your own!

as described, everything you could possibly need in a compact and quirky unit. Bonus with the hot tub in a private setting.

This was a brilliant place to stay in Keswick. It was quiet and tucked away with a parking space but very easy to walk into town. There are some fantastic local restaurants within a few steps. The accommodation was perfect for us and our teenage children. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean and tidy. We really liked the lobby area to remove shoes and hang coats etc before heading upstairs. Thank you ☺️

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

Lovely warm welcome in pretty, cosy cottage. Lots of treats for us in the kitchen. Large kitchen table perfect for eating round. Spacious lounge with big comfy sofa and big TV. Both bedrooms pretty with nice views. Large bathroom. Dog made very welcome too. Helen is very friendly and helpful. It was a flying visit for us so I can’t comment on the area except that it’s very pretty and peaceful.

Low Moss Cottage was such a beautiful place to stay. We went early April and managed to have sunshine all weekend. The cottage is so nicely presented and the bed is extremely comfortable. Lovely grassy outside area to play on picnic on too. Perfect peaceful get away.
