Dambulla : locations de vacances dans des boutique-hôtels

De host, man en vrouw, zijn hartelijke mensen. Ze kennen de omgeving, geven goeie tips, spreken goed Engels, houden van hun job. Het personeel, allemaal jonge mannen, volgen gedwee alle orders op. Er zit een duidelijk businessplan achter. Je weet op voorhand niet goed wat de prijzen zijn voor extraatjes in het restaurant. Dat is een beetje vervelend maar de eindafrekening viel uiteindelijk heel goed mee. Het zwembad is zalig, de kamers ruim. De stekker staat achter het frame van het bed en dat is niet handig. Voor de rest geen opmerkingen. De plek is een aanrader!

My room was large and clean, with a large, comfortable bed complete with large mosquito net, an en suite shower room and toilet, air conditioning, but no eating or cooking facilities. I did have the use of the fridge on the ground floor - beware of man-eating mosquitoes there. The location was quiet and a bicycle was available for exploring the area. There was a good restaurant / bakery across the road, the railway station was 5 minutes away by tuk tuk and the Old City about 3km away. Everything was satisfactory.

Thank you for the great stay. We had a wonderful time at Chathurika. The accommodation has a fantastic location by the lake. We were able to observe a lot of birds and animals. The room was super clean & beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout the house and were able to relax very well. There are many attractions to explore nearby. The food was delicious & we had the best tuna on our trip. Big recommendation. The entire team was super friendly & helpful. We would love to come back again :-)

Very polite and helpful staff! Really can recommend the service! We had a great stay there and the pool and the food were really good as well! It’s a little bit difficult to find but your Host will help you to find this nice Airbnb! We enjoyed it!

Good location for visiting Lion Rock early morning. Breakfast at the property & local recommendations by the staff for a spa were good. Special shout out to the cat Kitty who was very friendly & accompanied us outside the room. The garden is also very nice, herb & native species attract birds Room interior could be better - otherwise a great spend if you're not too particular about details like interiors.
