Classic Madison home in walking distance to parks and lunch spots. Conveniently located near the isthmus, but in a family-friendly neighborhood, near parks with glacial land features.

My family and I loved this lake home. Everything was just as pictured, and the home is very clean and spacious. There were 8 of us who stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone! We took advantage of the games and shuffleboard table upstairs. This location is a great getaway for a family to spend quality time together. Thank you Holly and Mike!

This was my second stay at Samantha’s and I was looking so forward to it. As expected (from prior experience), the accommodations were pristinely clean, deliciously comfortable and serenely peaceful. Samantha is as warm and welcoming as you could imagine. She makes hosting an art form which is quite fitting because her home is full of enchanting art! I can’t imagine visiting Madison staying at another location and I hope I never have to because coming to Samantha’s house feels like coming to my Madison “home” now and it’s Samantha’s warmness and meticulous attention to detail that makes it feel that way. Big thank you to Samantha and Bruce for welcoming me a second time!

미국와서 처음 잡은 에어비앤비 숙소였는데 무난했습니다. 바로 앞에 버스 정류장이 있어서 대학가 쪽으로 접근이 편리하며, 근처에 코인세탁소에서 빨래가 가능합니다. 주변에 편의점에 대응되는 약국이 하나 있고 멕시칸 요리를 하는 식당이 바로 앞에 몇 군데 있습니다.(그래도 아마 대학가 쪽으로 나갈 일이 좀 있을 듯 합니다.) 적힌 것과 같이 큰 개가 있는데 호기심이 많은 것이지 순한 듯 합니다.

Meg was the perfect host. Her house is beautiful and Meg was welcoming and generous with her time, answering our many questions about UW Madison and the city, and she even lent us a map of historic houses. A lasting memory of staying with Meg will be the intricate, complex, and beautiful puzzle on a table in the kitchen that kept us enthralled until late in the evening,

Our family needed a place with plenty of sleeping space for our larger group. We were able to easily accomodate everyone with plenty of room for sleeping and several bathrooms. We made all of our meals in the kitchen and used the large kitchen table for both dining as well as game playing. Had it been a little warmer we would have spent time outside enjoying the quiet woods, but as it was we enjoyed watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree and some woodpeckers -- all in sight from the back windows. It was a great convenience to have access to a Tesla charger as well.

Samantha and Bruce provided a lovely home, beautifully furnished and in full working order. Food provisions were made available for our arrival and our request to check in 3 hours early was granted with out query. Overall a lovely stay.

Crystal was an excellent host. The listing was in a great location for our visit and the value was great! We had my three kids under the same roof and had ample space to not be all over each other. The place was well appointed….and although we don’t have little kids, there was even items for them to play with. The house was very clean and the rest of my family when visiting us were impressed as well. I’ll certainly keep Crystal in mind the next time I travel to Wisconsin!

It was so unique and inviting! We will definitely be back! Great service and we felt very comfortable and very taken care of.

It was a beautiful old house with gorgeous gardens right on the shore of Lake Mendota. The rooms were well appointed and charming. It was a B&B so a light continental breakfast was offered. A parking spot was included in the stay which was no small deal. Walk to State Street was scenic and very easy, under a mile, 1.8 mi to UW Madison campus and right on a bus route. Overall we had a great stay!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It’s a perfect location, easy to get to from the airport, quiet, walkable, easy to get downtown, very good breakfast. I’m just very happy it was available when I needed it.

This place is like a door to time travel. It is amazingly decorated, clean, peaceful and our hosts/stuff are super pleasant! Highly recommended to all of you who travel to that part of WI, definitely a MUST place to visit.

Wonderful! The Walt Whitman room was clean and spacious, and going out on the deck was lovely. Breakfast was tasty. The garden was neat to explore! Being near the water and park was the perfect touch. Directions for check in/ out were super easy. Thanks!

This was out 2nd stay in this hime but in a different room. Both times were extreemely enjoable with a fabulous continental breakfast consisting of scones and egg quiche. Beautiful home and lake views.
