Fantastic home and responsive hosts. The home is well arranged for a large group or family, with places for everyone to eat or gather together plus spaces where individuals or small groups can have privacy. It’s well-set up for intergenerational groups because the kids can have their own space for games and play while there are still quiet spaces for adults to talk. Even with the younger generation playing games and laughing at night the bedrooms are far enough away that the older folks got their sleep! Very well stocked kitchen with all the supplies to actually COOK. I have never been in a rental house with a high grade stand mixer before! The great room is beautiful and the underfloor heating in that space makes it much more comfortable in the winter. Definitely would love to come back.

Jim was incredibly responsive host, warm and friendly. He was very accommodating for us with our check out time and kept his place immaculate. Wonderful place to stay for the weekend and would recommend to any guest!

Doug was very responsive and everything was as advertised. The neighborhood seems okay, nothing that seemed unsafe, anyway. Easy to access and plenty of off street parking.

We loved Mike’s place. This is their personal residence, which made our stay feel extremely homey and comfortable. Me and my husband stayed for the weekend for a peaceful retreat after the holidays. It was exactly as described and everything we desired. Would definitely stay again.

The day I had to check out, I looked around at the neighborhood and all the people walking by waving and walking their dogs and the beautiful park half a block away, I considered going back inside and asking Luke if I could spend an extra few days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The neighborhood is like a picture book, the home is extremely quiet, clean and I felt super relaxed and safe. I love seeing all the neighborhood kids riding their bikes around town- just a happy go lucky neighborhood !

Was in town for the wedding of a graduate school buddy, and Aleen's BNB was a perfect spot from which to relive the old days and good times. Extremely cozy, with beautiful views of Lake Mendota and easy access to nearby favorites including The Bou. Highly recommend.

Great vintage vibe with lots of cozy comforts! The MCM theme is fantastic, including magazines, books (Nancy Drew!), and games. The location near the lake is lovely, with great recommendations for where to eat and what to do in Madison. The kitchen had a thoughtful selection of supplies (not just coffee and tea, but also cooking oil and spices). We enjoyed the convenience of the adaptable bedside phone chargers, the super comfortable beds, and the fragrance-free products (great for those with scent sensitivities). All in all, a terrific place to stay—thanks so much!

Beautiful well kept home. Pristine condition - never have stayed at a VRBO with such a clean and fresh bathroom. Towels, linens, blankets and beds were luxurious and so comfortable. Jessica provided so many basic essentials it was like living right at home. Absolutely loved our stay and the home was impeccable and so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we return! Thank you for providing such a gorgeous place!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

Alexander's flat in Madison was perfect for our stay. Right downtown, a stone's throw from the capital, and about a mile from the heart of the UW campus, this home was fantastic with a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. The best part of the experience was how easy it was to work with Alexander. He was very responsive to every question, he was proactive about giving us information needed for an easy and comfortable stay, and he was extremely thorough in the information needed about checking in and out of the apartment. All in, this was a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Alexander. - Joe S

Debbie was a lovely host! Her home was perfect for our family for a quick college visit. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything we wanted to do. She was wonderfully accommodating and helpful.

Alex was incredibly flexible with our group’s varied check-ins and check-outs. Other members of my group met him and his partner and expressed that they were both very friendly and welcoming! It is an older building so the floors squeak a bit, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed Madison and this place was perfect for our stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was unbelievable!

This place is a lovely little cottage on the lake - the pics and description make it sound small and cozy, but I found it to be quite comfortably sized. we really enjoyed our time on the lake, and were able to explore Madison and Stoughton easily from the location. Brian was a wonderful communicator and super responsive to any issues. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again!

Great peaceful location to serve as a hub between trips to Madison and Janesville. Plenty of nearby supper clubs and a fun local watering hole. House was exactly as described, super cozy and very clean. Hosts were very communicative!

Great location on Lake Mendota in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds and nice deck for outdoor use. The decor and art around the house were unique and charming.

Beautiful house, lovely lake views. Comfy living room couch, sunroom furniture, and a variety of outdoor furniture to enjoy the lake views. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Check in was easy.

This was a really beautiful stay for our our group of ladies. Right on the lake and it was so lovely to be able to wake up and enjoy that view!
