This home is beautiful and spacious. If you’re looking for a private more secluded area this is perfect for you. We were able to fit comfortably and the house had everything we needed. Diane and the concierge team were very responsive before and during the trip.

Lovely home very spacious and fully equipped from top to bottom. Super comfortable. Great beds and luxurious sheets. Beautiful pool. Wildlife everywhere! Howler monkeys and beautiful birds. And some amazing iguanas

Our stay at Antonio’s place was nothing short of amazing. Antonio was super helpful and responsive to all requests. He made our stay stress free as he provided awesome recommendations for a driver as well as a personal chef for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re considering it for your stay in Costa Rica, do it. :)

Magical Place Our week in Maria’s home was absolutely magical. Situated at the end of a sandy cove, we had excellent ocean access and amazing privacy. The home was so comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms and breezy, beautiful living spaces in the rest of the house, deep decks with plenty of seating for meals, and tiny little spots under trees and bushes scattered throughout the ample yard. Our three generation gathering relished the pool, the beach, the yard games, and plenty of board games and art projects throughout the week. Maria’s recommendations for cooks and transportation were excellent. Maria was shockingly responsive…even sending someone over with two bags of ice when the ice-maker was a little slow for our needs. We were blessed with regular sightings of monkeys, lizards, birds, crabs, and dragonflies. We were so lucky to come upon this magical place that fully met all our needs, and exceeded our expectations.

Dave is the man. Not only made us feel welcome and right at home. Quick to respond. Fixed the shower in no time at all. Gave us so many great recommendations for the rest of our trip. All were exactly as expected. Thanks Dave. See you again soon.

Wow! What an incredible place. We loved it! Great value. The pool is fantastic. The architecture is amazing. Fabrice was a perfect host! I’d absolutely come back again!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

We had a great time at Julia's house and everything was flawless, from the initial communication to check-out. Julia's place is well appointed, very clean and exceptionally quiet with an awesome view. Kevin was great and checked us in and took care of us for the week and always available for any questions or recommendations. Would highly recommend a stay at Julia's for as long as you can. Thanks again and hopefully we will be back soon.

Wow! What an amazing place. We would love to stay at Adam’s again (and probably will!). This was our first time in Costa Rica and what an introduction! There were 6 of us—a family of 4, and a couple. The apartment upstairs was perfect for the teenagers, giving them their own privacy and autonomy, even though the gathering area was definitely by the pool (where we spent most of our day and night). The house itself was kept cool by the AC and very clean and as described—really gorgeous place. It was stocked well with so many games, which we never got to play because we were so exhausted because of the heat—the hot dry season is no joke but thank god for that pool. The neighborhood and location was also hard to beat. Just a quick golf cart jaunt into Tamarindo (or you can grab a scooter in the area) tho there was a market and several great restaurants in walking distance. Place also was quiet/ felt very safe. Oh and Adam and Claudia went above and beyond! Can’t say enough nice things!

Overall amazing house in a secure location. It is a 2 minute walk to an American style grocery store which was very helpful. The pool and house were clean. The host, in particular, was very responsive and always available. Can’t recommend it enough.

Adriano and Deniz were wonderful hosts! Our stay at this Casa Dina was truly exceptional! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip. They went above and beyond by coordinating a private chef and arranging shuttles to and from the airport, making our experience completely stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was Shirley, who took such great care of us. She made us delicious breakfasts on two mornings and kept the house spotless every day. She was so sweet and welcoming—it felt like having a family member looking after us! The host was also incredibly flexible with our requests and always quick to assist whenever we had a question. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our trip unforgettable. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you’ll be in great hands! Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and a nice location to walk to town and golf cart to beach. Host was responsive and friendly. Concierge service was great!

This villa is gorgeous and in a very cool location up a hill with amazing views! The pool was fantastic, it is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. There are many animal noises at night, mostly dogs barking but we enjoyed all the birds around us and having them visit the pool and the trees around the property. We enjoyed watching the stars at night too! The villa has everything you need, nice big dining table for family gatherings. If using the rooms upstairs you cannot access them from inside so you do need to walk outdoors to get to the stairs (wear slippers to avoid some bugs!). We only had a few minor hiccups while there (some water leakage) but Ilse was an impeccable host, quick to respond and brought us some items missing from the kitchen. Thank you Ilse for an incredible experience in Ocotal!

This vacation home was exactly what we were looking for with our 4 children. It was close to the beach and we were able to walk there, in addition there were a few close restaurants we could walk to that had great food for both us adults and children. The pool area was great as well, great lighting on the pool, perfect temperature, and big enough for them all to swim and cool off! Added bonus, we even got to see howler monkeys in the trees behind our house a few mornings! Tomar was very responsive and had great recommendations for us as well. Definitely would travel here again!

Nick’s place was great for my family! The house is super comfortable, on the beach and with a pool on the opposite side for when the heat or wind on the beach are too much. My kids loved playing in the sand right off the deck and we even saw howler monkeys on the last day. The place is walkable into town and we would regularly walk to the many coffee shops, ice cream shop or restaurants. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

Maison dans un quartier sécurisé tranquille. Où on s’est senti très bien. La piscine était fantastique. Je recommande ce airbnb fortement. J’ai beaucoup aimé ne pas être au centre de Tamarindo pour être plus tranquille à la maison. Si vous louez un véhicule, c’est la maison parfaite pour vous. Séjour en famille avec 5adultes et un enfant de 5ans.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hilltop house with an infinity pool! The two bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect, and the property was well-maintained. As my family gets ready to end our trip to Costa Rica, we are filled with gratitude. We started our trip at Kaya Villa and it was exactly what we needed for our family of four to unwind. Before we arrived, we had time to check out the local guide they put together, which was full of recommendations on everything from places to eat to get surfing lessons, etc. The hosts were beyond hospitable, waiting at the front gate to welcome us into the space and had a cheesecake waiting in the fridge. The home was exactly as advertised and was an easy walk to the beach and a number of resteraunts. Though they set us up nicely, the hosts were super responsive, even seeming to anticipate questions. Playa Avallena is definitely experiencing a surge in construction, including outside the gates of the home, but we found it a relaxing oasis and just what we needed. We will definitely be back. Gracias!!!

The only issue we had was upon arrival we could not get access to the house as the cleaning lady mistakenly took the keys home with her. Our neighbor helped us out by calling Raymond and locating a key for us...a slight mishap. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Raymond was very quick to answer all our questions and provide recommendations for restaurants. The location was great, very quiet and rural. Access to a few of the beaches just a short drive away ( 5 mins). The place was superb. very clean and well taken care of. The pool was great! Would highly recommend the surrounding restaurants as the food was delicious. Very authentic. The local grocery stores carry majority of your needs. Overall the hosts were fantastic and we had a fabulous time. So happy we chose this place and should we return to that part of Costa Rica again would definitely go there. Highly recommend it!!

Excelente hospedaje, Doris y su familia son personas muy amables y siempre se mostraron dispuestos a ayudarnos. Nos dieron recomendaciones de la zona y nos ayudaron con lo que solicitábamos. Lugar privado muy cercano a la playa, 100% recomendado!

Julie’s place was amazing. So clean, beautiful, spacious, and private but with close neighbors so you don’t feel isolated. Got visited by Micro (mee-crow) the cat and a family of howler monkeys. Also saw a lizard and bird family / nest above the pool. Fascinating to watch the leaf cutter ants work away all day and take a break during the midday heat. So much wildlife! Private pool was amazing for the heat. The gardener was friendly and kept the outdoors clean and pool jets running for us. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Loved the welcome fruit and coffee. Loved that the town was near by as well as the beach. Playa Avellana was a short drive away and had a great Friday night market at the square. Fun and relaxing time! Thanks again Julie!
