Danville : locations de vacances

Its a large place, fairly close to the highway. We stayed here overnight on a trip and were comfortable. I imagine it would be pretty nice in summer with the river next to the house. It is an older place, so there are some rough edges but overall we loved the history and the space and recommend the place!

I would need way more than a 1000 characters to describe how amazing Shirley and Dave were. One of the things we like to do as cigar smokers is sit around the fire pit. Each day filled our fire pit was filled with fresh lumber. We were ivited to a personal private gathering and recommended to an event that happens only twice a year. If it weren't for Shirley we would not have even known the event was happening I can go on and on.... amazing host. If you start another tier of host higher than super host put Shirley at the top of that category. Did I mention amazing?

Very great home, was very clean and perfect all around for our stay!

We were doing a bourbon tour in Frankfort, but wanted to focus more of our time exploring Harrodsburg and Shaker Village, so Sharon's place was in the perfect location for a quiet retreat with our little dog. We haven't lived in the country for years, so it was wonderful to view the Pink Moon with a beautiful sky full of stars, and enjoy the amazing sunrise the following morning. It was pretty chilly when we were there, but the electric fireplace was a wonderful addition. The lovely little bistro table outside is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, or a glass of wine or bourbon in the evening. I highly recommend, but pay attention when navigating our Kentucky country roads, as some of them are pretty narrow. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

We recently rented this charming house for a two-night getaway, and it was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in a remote and beautiful location, the setting was absolutely stunning—ideal for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing us with all the amenities we needed. We loved the various activities available on-site, which kept us entertained during our stay. Whether it was playing games, enjoying some downtime, or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, there was never a dull moment. One minor downside was the weather; we wished it would have cooperated a bit more so we could fully enjoy walking the grounds and taking in the breathtaking views. However, we made the most of our time indoors and had a fantastic time catching up and relaxing. Additionally, the location offered us easy access to some fantastic bourbon distilleries and delicious restaurants, all just a short drive away. It was the p

This home is very cute. It is on a quite and secluded part of the lake. No wakes, and nearly no boats coming and going. It was very quite and peaceful. The dock was beautiful and they had everything well stocked.. towels, life jackets very well stocked for all ages, and floats. I would recommend this place to friends.

Chris saved our vacation! We had a not so great experience when first arriving in Lexington due to our original host not responding to us and basically leaving me and my family stranded without a place to stay. Chris is a wonderful host. Thanks to him we didn’t have to drive 2+ hours back home. We actually got to enjoy ourselves. Definitely recommend Chris’s house to anyone coming into Lexington.

This home was very clean and easy to find. It was a great location to relax and fish, read or just sit on the porch and watch the various types of birds, or the muskrats swim or listen to the frogs in the evening. We appreciated the snacks and personnel touches! The hot was a bit shallow, but great! I'd only suggest filling in a couple of pot holes in the driveway. Otherwise, it was a place we would come back to!!!
