Misty was a wonderful host. The home was excellent and helped while i was in town for my father's funeral. Misty responded quickly and was helpful with any questions i had. Definitely plan on renting again in the future. The host provided an abundance of amenities that other rentals dont usually offer which definitely made the stay that much more peaceful and relaxing.

Thankful for this little home and the host who have been so flexible with all our needs. A great little place for any getaway

Rob & Susan’s place completely exceeded our expectations. They are exceptional hosts who, you can tell, thought through guests’ every need and fully exceeded them. Their place was spotlessly clean, furnished comfortably in an esthetically pleasing way, had every imaginable amenity and gadget which were fully labeled and easy to find. They showed us around on check-in saying they wanted our stay to be exceptional and it was! One of the many highlights was the delightful, serene screened in porch. It is pure magic. I would stay again in a heartbeat if my journey takes me that way again. Thank you Rob and Susan for superb experience.

This was the perfect peaceful getaway! We loved looking out the kitchen window to see horses grazing. Or waking up to the sweet moos of cows next door. Even though you feel removed you’re still 15-20 minutes from great food and things to do. Check in instructions were clear, Kathryn was very responsive and assisted with one minor issue almost immediately. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful home away from home and the owners are just as nice and the home was. My family was displaced due to water damage to our home and we stayed here about 3 months straight. Owners even replenished laundry soap, tp and paper towels when we exhausted their supply! That was an unexpected surprise and a very nice gesture. I would recommend this property to anyone that is in need of a peaceful and spacious rental. The home seems twice as big on the inside than it looks on the outside. You will not be disappointed!!

We truly enjoyed a peaceful, beautiful retreat at the Cottage on the Lake. The kitchen was well equipped, the space was perfect for two people, the outdoor furniture was inviting and comfortable, the birds and flowers were very lovely.

What a wonderful stay! This cabin is so secluded & private with everything you need! We enjoyed the firepit while having a direct view of the lake. There were so many extras that Ive not seen anywhere else, down to a sewing kit & hair ties! This was an extremely cozy place and the perfect location to get away from it all. I cant wait to come back again in warmer weather! Everything was perfect!

Morenito is a thoughtful host: we had everything we needed, from coffee and condiments in the kitchen, to toiletries in the bathrooms. Beds are memory foam type beds and very comfortable! Good location with stores & restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this place to others, especially families!

Great place to stay near VIR. Clean, easy, cozy. A little bit of road noise but otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Chad was super helpful.

We had a great time paddle boarding the lake and chilling on the screened porch. Went out for drinks to buoys to break up the stay.

This is one of those houses that reminds you why you use Airbnb sometimes. This is not a cold, modern, empty, all-white house - this is a beautiful, cozy, lived-in space that makes you feel right at home, with all the amenities you want. I used to live in Durham, and my sister still does - this house is a great location in what I consider Durham's best neighborhood by far (9th Street). Spent three nights over Thanksgiving here with my parents to be close to my sister. We were hosting/cooking the actual meal, and we are pretty serious cooks so we were a little nervous about having everything. We shouldn't have been. Martha's kitchen is super well stocked and she was extremely gracious and communicative about what we could use and how. Left multiple pages of helpful instructions so we could check and re-check, and was often proactive in informing us of different things (I remarked multiple times that Martha would fit right into our family.) We would definitely stay here again!

This was one the best ABNB I have ever stayed in. Beautiful house. Great hosts! Clean. Quiet. Very nice linens and towels. Lots of snacks and coffee choices. Everything was so comfortable. I would steal the recliner if I could. lol.

My boyfriend and I came down for a comedy show and decided to do an air bnb versus a hotel in downtown Greensboro . I saw Michael's adorable cottage , and it was amazing. It was super clean and actually really spacious. I also loved that it was so close to everything but yet not right in the middle of the chaos . We will definitely be booking this again next time we come if available .

Perfect set up for our small family. Close to great restaurants and other essentials, but still relatively private. Everything was thoughtfully provided and owners were attentive to details and responded quickly to questions we had along the way. It was a perfect location for easy access to the VIR track. We would definitely book again if in the area!

This was our second time staying there. The place is great. It’s nice and peaceful and we even had 8 deer in the backyard our last afternoon there. I highly recommend this stay.

What an absolutely perfect private getaway. Space was clean with plenty of room. Pat was very informative on all aspects of our stay. Couldn't recommend this place more!!!

Very cute little house. Mostly quiet (occasional car noises on street) and very clean. There is space for only one car to park IF you have two large/SUV type vehicles but we made it work with a little slanting parking. Excellent attention to decor details, loved the extra visual and practical touches around the house. You can tell the host works hard to make the place comfortable and fun (Nice back yard, games and kids toys available).

One of the best. Beautifully decorated. Clean. Very comfortable. Everything is available for you from complete kitchen, toiletries, Coffee and comfy sofas and recliners. Loved it!

If you need a place in the area, I highly recommend booking Jen’s place. Very clean, decorated well, beautiful dishes and well stocked kitchen. We loved the layout of the home. The two queen beds and separate family room tv area worked out wonderfully for our two family stay while we were visiting friends in the area. There was a child with allergies so we appreciated that the space was clean and pet free. Jen was friendly, proactive and available from booking through the end of our stay.

Sonya and her AirB&B were awesome. She was so responsive to my many questions The house was so clean and well supplied with many extras. Probably my best experience ever and I have rented many times. Get this ….I realized as soon as I got home that I left my expensive hair dryer in the bathroom vanity drawer. I messaged Sonya and it was in the mail the next day. Thanks Sonya. Highly recommend this place !!!
