If you are looking for a comfy place with a great view in Darjeeling, this is where you will find it all. The hosts are very humble and excellent in service. The food served from the hosts was great if you are in need for home cooked meal. Place is also not too far from market. Overall, we had a great time staying here and will recommend this place for a 4-5 person group anyday.

Very friendly host. The inconvenient location (distance from the Chowk Bazar is quite a bit) is the only disadvantage of the place. Also if the place can arrange to feed the guests, it will add to their positive points.

I had a wonderful time at the Meghmala home stay in Rimbick. The host (Uncle & Aunty) was very friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning and the night view of mountain was so mesmerizing. The home stay was also close to many attractions, such as the Manendra Samten Monastery, 105years old, the Srikhola Bridge, and the Lodhama Hydro Power plant. Network connectivity is also good, I will suggest to use Jio network, as it has best connectivity in this entire region. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and peace of Rimbick, Darjeeling.

I recently visited Pranati Bed n Breakfast at Kalimpong, a charming hill station and was surprised and mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the majestic Kanchenjunga from the terrace. The property nestled amidst lush green lawns and with a delectable home cooked cuisine offered a serene escape. Each morning, of our stay we woke to the stunning panorama of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga, which seemed to change hues with the rising sun. Prashant was always available to extend an arm for any help we requested. The tranquil atmosphere and picturesque landscapes made the experience truly unforgettable.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

We had an wonderful stay at Sangeetha's place during our recent Darjeeling trip. I have been visiting Darjeeling since long but hardly ever had such a memorable, unique and wonderful stay. We had stayed in Darjeeling for 2 nights (27th & 28th Dec, 2024) this time. Mr. Udaya, Sangeeta, Suravi all were very cordial, welcoming and ever helpful to make us feel right at home. They helped us to navigate to their place proactively, gave us a warm welcome once we reached there and ensured that we have everything almost at our fingertips during our stay. Udayaji's family has a rich history of literary contributions and he kindly showed us around his library and the museum which he himself maintains. This was so enriching for us. Sangeeta, though not keeping well, cooked us a very nice spread of breakfast which Sara(our kid) really enjoyed. Suravi was omnipresent and helping us. The place is also wonderful, peaceful and cosy. The view from the patio is amazing. Our heartfelt gratitude them.

My stay at the cottage was truly remarkable. Nestled at the ideal distance from the bustling Mall, it offered the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. A leisurely, comfortable walk brought me to the main Chowk Bazar without being overwhelmed by the usual throngs of tourists. The locality itself was a haven for a laid-back holiday, allowing me to unwind and soak in the charm of the surroundings. One of the highlights of my trip was getting to know the warm and welcoming locals, which added a special dimension to my experience. Above all, I am deeply grateful to Dr. Arpita, my host there. Her genuine care and guidance about Darjeeling transformed my solo trip into an extraordinary journey. Thanks to her insights, I discovered a side of Darjeeling that I might have otherwise missed. Her support and hospitality made a lasting impression on me, and I am truly indebted to her for making my visit so memorable.

Our stay at Leon’s was incredibly comfortable, thanks to the thoughtful setup of the property. The two-bedroom apartment had everything we needed—a well-equipped kitchen, a smart TV, heaters, and plenty of blankets to keep us warm and cosy. The management went the extra mile by providing milk, tea bags, and a generous selection of snacks. The property manager, Prasan, was always on hand to assist with any minor issues and even gave us a heartfelt farewell with a traditional gesture—presenting each of us with a piece of white silk and incense. Truly touching! The Bhutanese restaurant upstairs, Za Khang, offers a daily buffet of delicious treats, making dining convenient and enjoyable. We were also connected with a local driver, Pankaj, who showed us around and made our stay even more pleasant. We look forward to returning to Kalimpong and will definitely stay at Leon’s again!

Had a wonder week-long stay at Leon's. - Great space with all the essentials for a longer stay; all the amenities are there. You'll feel like you're at home - The view's great. From the balcony and terrace, very picturesque - The place is about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the bus stand. In a residential area. Quite and peaceful and safe. - Prasan, the property manager, was always accessible. His brother Rajesh, who'd be on the property, was super kind and helpful. Absolutely loved the place. Had a great workation experience. Would definitely return!! If anyone's traveling to Kalimpong, this is the perfect property to stay at. Thank you to Prasan, Rajesh, and Leon.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

Tej was a lovely host and I’m really grateful to have found this property to stay at. It was nice because it was peaceful for Darjeeling, and you can walk to mall road in 20 minutes through beautiful scenery. Tej was helpful and always wanted us to be comfortable and well taken care of. I would come back. The kitchen didn’t have salt, spices or oil for cooking and I am used to air bnb providing these things for travellers since it’s hard to travel with those things. There is also no fridge but Tej was kind enough to allow me to keep some perishables in his fridge. Overall it was a lovely apartment, very cute and comfortable. Thank you Tej and Family🙏

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

Tajistha was a good human being, the house was good but a bit far side but we managed to adjust regarding up hill and downhill although we were aware about it as non hill station personnel it was bit unexpected. So no blame on host ☺️There are some suggestions from me that should be fixed 1. Clear instructions about house rules even though it was pasted but those must be well communicated, we discussed many things but this was missed. 2. We took all the rooms which were available but there were continuous drippings for just running 2 inductions, since Darjeeling is cold place it is expected to use geyser and inductions together. 3. Hot water management was there in one bathroom only, hence even we had 2 bathrooms but we used only one bath. Above points should be improved that will help others and there will be must, otherwise it was a good stay.
