​Alcyone is brilliantly located with plenty of dining options right downstairs or within walking distance, making every meal out an easy choice. The proximity to shops is a big plus, providing convenience for all your needs. The highlight, however, was the scenic walk along the Brisbane River, which was both relaxing and beautiful. Additionally, being close to the Eat Street Markets was a fantastic bonus, offering a vibrant food scene and cultural experience just a short distance away. While the view from our room was somewhat obscured by adjacent buildings, it didn't detract much from the overall experience. If you're looking for an unobstructed river view, you might find this slightly disappointing, but the location more than makes up for it. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The addition of a separate office space was particularly appreciated, providing a quiet nook for work or relaxation away from the main sleeping area.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was 100% clean, super comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely recommend it to others and would love to come back again

Was a lovely stay at Luke’s place. The location was absolutely perfect with lots to do and the view was beautiful! The accommodation was clean and perfectly fit our needs. Check in was easy and the host was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again! :)

We felt right at home. The instructions were clear and we found the apartment very easily. The cathedral complex garden is like an oasis - complete with nesting birds and lizards. It’s amazingly quiet considering how central the location. An easy walk to the Music Hall. Great eateries within walking distance. There is loads of public transport too. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Loved the balcony over the garden. Parking bay nice and close to the lift and a decent size. The apartment is not new but it was just perfect for us! Brilliant communication.

We had a great stay at Jana’s apartment. Instructions for the key and parking were well communicated, place was clean and bed very comfortable. Balcony is a plus! We even got some fresh flowers - love that little detail. Restaurants are close by and walkable. Pool is very clean and looked after. Also worthwhile having a look at the rooftop level 32 for the view. The only thing we didn’t like to much is there is not much privacy in the apartment if curtains are open, since the next building is very close. But overall a great stay!

We were welcomed in person by Janine, who thoughtfully had added an umbrella to the apartment due to the current rainy forecast. The apartment was just a described, had a lovely outlook and the Saturday markets on the doorstep were fantastic! The buses were very accessible, as were the ferries, and at $1 for a return journey, made travel around the city both easy and affordable. If we hadn't had the rental car then we would also have used the trains to get to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, which we understand are just a cheap as the other public transport. We appreciate the personal touches such as the treats that Janine left for us. The breakfast items were also really good. Thanks again Janine for a lovely holiday destination! We would definitely recommend this apartment :)

Host was great to deal with. Before confirming the reservation the Host asked our expectations of the accommodation to ensure their unit was what we were looking for (which it was). Everything worked as it was supposed to, the Host was extremely quick to respond to any messages, the unit is in a great location, the Host offered to make the pull out sofa, which was above and beyond our expectations. I have no problem leaving a positive review for this unit, and I am the type of person who has left some units extremely bad reviews, but I highly recommend this unit 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment - location was very central but also quiet. It was so easy to get around the city. The pool and gym was an added bonus. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in a perfect spot in central Brisbane!

L’appartamento è molto comodo ed appena ristrutturato, la posizione vicinissima al centro è l’ideale per chi vuole visitare la città ma essere libero di spostarsi verso le altre bellezze che offre la zona , in un contesto molto tranquillo ho apprezzato molto la piscina e la palestra che sono a disposizione degli ospiti, sono davvero contento di aver soggiornato nell’ alloggio di Chris , lo consiglio vivamente

All around great experience. Jeff was helpful, personable and kind. Very communicative. Place was spotless and comfortable. Matched the description to a tee. Would stay there again without hesitation- thank you Jeff!

My parents and I had a marvellous stay at Anissa’s well-considered and long-cultivated homespace highrise rental. The rooms and common spaces were well-curated with conveniences and beauty. For culinary-oriented folks, the kitchen is well equipped and provisioned. For techie-folk, there is an abundance of USB-based charging infrastructure. The only hiccup was a lift (elevator) that was out of order during our first 2 days. This was unforeseeable and no fault at all goes to Anissa. Additionally, Anissa had so many pro-tips (and has good taste). We ate at DooDee Boran which was next door and delicious. The City Botanic Gardens and all of the museums were either walkable or easily accessed via public transportation, ferry/CityCat, or rideshare app from where the apartment is located. I recommend this space for those who appreciate a host who has opened their home to you and cares about your experience while there.

Perfect location and a really nice little apartment with everything you need

Luxury end apartment in a great location with access to a lovely large swimming pool and well equipped gym.

Chris was nothing short of amazing. We were scheduled to check in on Friday which is when Cyclone Alfred was meant to hit Brisbane. Knowing I was in town and with my wife and two young children, Chris offered me his apartment two days early free of charge, to ensure we were settled and comfortable before the cyclone was due to hit. Absolute gentleman. Apartment was great. Perfect location and clear instructions. Chris, thank you for everything and we will definitely rebook.

The place suited our needs. Lots of street parking and responsive host. Clearly a lived in Airbnb so sometimes unsure what we could/should use versus what should be left untouched. Lovely new renovated bathroom is great.

Thankful to Dylan & Jess for the opportunity to stay at their wonderful place. Great balance of peaceful while still a short drive to all of the Sunshine Coasts greatest spots. The view, and overall amenities of the place as a treat. They accommodated our difficult needs due to towing and requiring parking for a trailer and large vehicle. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone. Could not be happier and felt the place was great value for money.

Notre sejour chez Ki était idéal. La maison a tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons passé le cyclone sans problème. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour découvrir un peu plus la région. L’emplacement est idéal, la mer et le magasin à 5 minutes à pied, parfait.

Stayed here with some friends to attend a wedding at a close by venue. The place is beautiful and has an incredible view. The house has every amenity you could need as well as fun things like a pool table and bar. The kitchen is enormous and well stocked with pans, plates and cooking equipment. Bedrooms are comfortable and towels are provided. Bathrooms were great for getting ready as they had proper makeup mirrors. Cant really fault this place as it had everything we needed.

Great location, we enjoyed fishing off the dock and the pool was a hit with our daughter. thanks for an easy stay.

It's all been said in the other reviews. Nice place, nice owner, excellent value, everything good. I'd be very happy to come back here
