Jenny’s place was absolutely wonderful. It was just a 2 min walk to the beach and 5 mins to the shops so super convenient. The beach was quiet even on a 27 degree Sunday and great for dog walking in the morning. The garden was fully fenced so very pet friendly and very relaxing to sit in. Both the queen bed and the sofa bed were extremely comfortable. The house had everything needed for a great stay including a range of kids toys. I would highly recommend Jenny’s place.

What kind and friendly hosts! I had a fabulous time staying in Steven and Peta’s cabin. Close to transport and amenities. Super easy to base yourself here and to get around Sydney. Highly recommend, especially if you’re a solo female traveller - very safe and secure. Would definitely love to stay again!

My wife and I had a great time. The highlight was the waterfront view. Spent a good deal of time reading on deck overlooking Lake Macquarie—so good! And kayaks were a nice bonus. A few things to consider: if you like running, you may need to drive 5-15mins to a good running spot nearby (I really enjoyed driving to Speers Point and running there). Also—the cottage is essentially one big room (plus a laundry and bathroom), so it can be tricky for one person to go to sleep while the other stays up. Overall though we had a fantastic time—would recommend!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Rob & Lynne were fantastic hosts who genuinely wanted to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the cabin was spotless & had every comfort you could wish for. It is central to shopping with plenty of entertainment nearby or stay in & enjoy the peace & wildlife. I loved staying there & will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Sue and Jeff’s place! We stayed there for 6 weeks and we found the studio to be even better than it looked in the pictures. Very well equipped for long stays (with a good fridge and a washing machine inside the studio that I think were not in the pictures), very cozy and well decorated. Fresh goodies from the garden and composting bin. Walking distance from the beach and good supermarkets and restaurants. And we also got to know Sue, Jeff, the girls, and Daisy 🐾 a little better and we shared very special moments together preparing dinner, watching movies and having good conversations, which was a super plus 🤗 they are a beautiful family, amazing hosts and great friends! We are very grateful for the time we spent there and definitely recommend it!

The stay at Kate’s was lovely! They are generous people and makes you feel welcome. The bungalow was great with good facilities and a private outdoor area which was great for a drink or the morning coffee. We would absolutely be back and highly recommend 😊

The cabin was very cosy and had everything we could want. Jan's garden wass very lush and the dogs had lovely time exploring. The location was perfect, so close to a huge dog park and some nice walks. Thank you Jan for the comfortable stay!

The space was such good value for Money with luxurious appliances and homewares:) The wireless technology was state of the art. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to experience the outdoor film experience. We really appreciated the late check out offered. Will definitely return to stay:)

Emma's place was lovely! It's quiet, peaceful and private with beautiful surroundings and cute animals; the donkeys are very friendly and the tennis court is a great touch too. Would come here again!

Murrays place was a dream, and getting to pet their dog Friday was also a plus. It's such a dreamy spot, super clean and peaceful. Id definitely love to come back.

Beautiful stay. Loved the pool and spa. At first we thought it was not private but there is a blind to block the gate at the front and it felt very private from the house itself. We loved the projector and the bed was extremely comfortable. Hadi gave us great tips on where to have lunch.

This is an actual paradise, you could mistake yourself for being on a tropical island overseas. Completely private, peaceful and the Island is stunning. Very easy to access also via the ferry from Brooklyn. We will be back for years to come.

Thank you Gib and Toni for a weekend away we will never forget. It was peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. We particularly loved the hammock and spectacular bath with a view. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. I’m sure we will be back again!

Lee’s Bundeena treehouse was the perfect peaceful getaway. Even though it was a rainy weekend, the place was warm and cosy, hidden away underneath a beautiful tree and with a view of the water. Everything is in walking distance, making it easy to explore the beaches and nearby walking tracks. The spa was also a luxurious touch. Would definitely return!

Clint made us feel super welcome and the pool house was a fantastic set up. Super clean and the amenities were fantastic! The location is great too for walking into Ettalong! Great stay thank you!

Glenn’s place was an absolute delight. Quiet and relaxing home away from home in the tiny house. The area is sounded by beautiful landscapes, and Glenn’s place is the perfect stopover, a perfect balance of nature and modern camping (loved the outdoor shower!). Would book again. Thanks to Glenn and his partner for the great hospitality!

Can’t thank Michael enough! First time I have done a stay like that and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The communication was fantastic and just all the little extras Michael did was fantastic. Can’t wait to stay again sometime!
