The photos don’t do this place justice. It really is beautiful. Quaint, spacious, clean and tidy. Plenty of facilities such as vac, mop, washing machine, dryer, cleaning products etc. Kitchen is a lovely space to all sit together. Bedrooms were very spacious and room for clothes etc. Lovely nights sleep in comfortable beds. Central heating worked a treat with log fire in the room (we didn’t need to use) including other heaters. It is lovely and warm and cosy. The views and surrounding areas are lovely. We used the hot tub which was a lovely addition and worked well been outside the conservatory part. We were a family group of mixed ages and we would absolutely stay here again. Host was great with contact prior to arrival with flexible check in/out. Overall a brilliant stay and we’ve also said we would return.

Fantastic cottage and location is to die for. I have got to say David and Barbara have a jewel here. Claire has communicated everything we needed and answered every question we had. Again fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Thanks and hope to return

We have stayed here before and will do so again if possible when working in the area , everything tiptop & as described if not better and a there was wee welcome pack which was a lovely surprise and went down well.

Willow Cottage was outstanding. we cannot fault this accommodation. I highly recommend a stay here, we were not disappointed. The cottage was warm, comfortable, well equipped and stylish. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for your hospitality.

A lovely house in the centre of Stokesley, all the local amenities within walking distance. Everything you could need within the house, very comfortable and warm.

Our third stay at Friars Cottage. Everything perfect as usual.

My sister and I really enjoyed staying in Binks cottage. Amanda and her family made us feel very welcome and we were able to see the lambs in the barn and learn about their care. The cottage is exceptionally comfortable and had everything we wanted. Excellent place to stay. Thankyou!

Absolutely wonderful cottage in a great location! We’re a family of 4 with two young children and we had everything we needed for the perfect stay. Conveniently located within the town centre, and only a short drive for some fun-filled days out. Thank you so much to Mike and Bev for letting us stay. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Comfortable, great hot water and shower, really peaceful and easy to get to the moors and local villages. Warm welcome from Amanda and John to ensure all I needed was there, so I could really enjoy time with my family but had a quiet bolthole at the end of each day. The famous cake was a huge success with the grandsons but I did manage a taster to confirm it is "awesome". The daffodils brought spring inside. Thank you for a real home from home.

We had a relaxing couple of days at the Granary over new year and it had everything we needed. The place was spotless and well equipped as well as very cosy. The farm is on a quiet road but is a short drive or 20 minute walk into Sedgefield and is convenient for Durham as well. Loved meeting the Shetland pony and Rascal the cat too!

Perfect for our needs, long weekend away for us both and then close to husbands current job, travel was 10 mins. Yarm is lovely we walked around the village and watched paddle boarding on the river. The cottage was very homely, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Extra's left were much appreciated too. Loved the roof terrace and the weather was great so all in all 10/10. Victoria was so helpful we swopped numbers as soon as she had accepted our request, she kept in touch, helped with directions and useful local recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lavender cottage and host. Thank you.

What a find! We only booked Boot and Shoe Cottage last minute to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It is such a blissful spot. We did lots of walking and cycling as it is an adventure playground in that neck of the woods. Barnards Castle was interesting to visit also. We are planning another visit in a different season.
