This house is in an excellent location, with a supermarket nearby and a beautiful green field just across the road, perfect for enjoying stunning sunrises and sunsets. We spent a wonderful Chinese New Year here, and it truly felt like home. The décor is stylish and cosy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, especially the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking effortless with just our own ingredients. Our host, Rosaline, was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to assist, ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Her thoughtfulness made our experience even better. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

This was our sixth trip to Seaham and our first stay at Steph's beautiful property. Crisp whites and soothing neutrals set the tone for the coastal-inspired decor, with chandeliers adding a v glam touch! We slept well on the comfy beds, and the kitchen has every amenity you could wish for. The property is short stroll from shops and places to eat, and beaches are also close by. The coastal walks and the countryside are simply stunning. All in all, a fantastic escape.

We stayed here for a few days and it was really good. Great accommodation and beautifully presented. Fab location in a busy town with lots of pubs and eating places. Fantastic for walking on the nearby North Yorkshire Moors. We will definitely visit again in the future.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay in this cosy upstairs flat with beautiful views over Wensleydale valley. Spotlessly clean and tidy throughout. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Penny is a fabulous host, who made us feel very welcome.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

A lovely place to stay for our weekend when attending a wedding at nearby Middleton Lodge, which is only a two minutes drive away. This is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, yet only a mile or so from the A1 and with lots of idyllic villages to visit in the surrounding areas. The property was exactly as listed and as shown in the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and well equipped, much larger than the average two person property and lovely to have sheep and chickens passing by the living room windows. Having a log burner to use was an added bonus. Fiona's communication was excellent from start to finish, with clear instructions and directions. Would definitely recommend Fiona's property to anyone visiting this part of the country. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer!

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

Superb little place - very peaceful and absolutely immaculate. Beverly was very friendly and communicative throughout. Wholly recommend this place to explore the Richmond area.

We had a wonderful break - Rosie’s cottages are just gorgeous, five stars all the way. Beautifully appointed, furnished and so central in the heart of such a lovely village Stokesley. Everything was easy to get too and lots of restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. Rosie was so welcoming as a host - lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches, pristine condition and spotlessly clean. We felt very lucky to have found such a great place to stay for nearby family celebrations. We’ll definitely be back!

A lovely stay in this amazing little bolthole in beautiful, characterful Yorkshire. The value for money is, quite frankly, ridiculously good. Anthony is very friendly, helpful and welcoming and we got the impression that both he and Jane really do care about their guests. Small extras like a crockpot, an air fryer and coffee machine are all so useful and make the place feel like a home -from-home. Having a washer & dryer makes everything so easy too - and surprised us for the low price! Everything is very clean too! Parking was easy with the permit and we felt like everything was straightforward and hassle-free. Area is handy for tourists too - Whitby is 30 mins drive away, Robin Hood’s Bay at around 40 mins abc Scarborough at 60 mins. Thank you so much, Anthony and Jane, we’ll be back!

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

I think that this was my third stay and I'll be back again. Such a lovely peaceful setting and I always feel right at home. Bex was, as ever, very helpful and friendly in her communication. This is a great stay and great value for money.
